I visited this store once after passing by while doing some errands and I quickly saw the overpriced merchandise as is common in stores like these. I understand you need to make your profits its a tough market, with the internet and all. I wanted to check out some comics. The staff made no effort to help. I felt unwanted. This isnt new i find most places like this tend to find the snobbiest employees possible. I usually dont care its just a store however when I went to Google other comic shops i saw the reviews... I must say, in this review based consumer culture we are in, nothing looks worse on a business than responding to bad reviews with the immature, unprofessional, and extremely petty manner that this business and its owners have done here. It only confirms all the bad experiences these customers have been having. Just.. so much cringe. Im sorry your store is a dying breed but this isnt helping. Anywho dont bother responding youll only validate me. EDIT: Just as predicted they respond in the most petty way possible.. researching my Facebook. Whos in charge of your social media? A pissy 12 year old with a vengeance? I am not the first person in these reviews that youve called out personally by name, Ive even seen you identifying their job and more.. (by the way, Oregon is legal cannabis state, dont know who you think youre insulting by saying that, ALSO I NEVER SAID selling. If you were snoopy enough to look through my photos at least read the caption correctly. It says I want to grow weed and food. So I can smoke the weed and eat the food. Dont make me into something that will fit your narrative.) I know the customer is not always right but every opinion in these reviews is starting to outweigh the extremely insecure voice behind these responses. Dont know if you know this but literally EVERYONE can see these reviews anytime your business is researched and trust me, it doesnt look good... Apparently you and your entire staff remember faces to a photographic extent, i must have walked into a different store peddling an inventory of %75 overpriced "gifts", with I guess very few of the comic books thats advertised for their business right here on Google. Dont know how you expect to stay open when youre idea of "good customer service" is blaming the customer when they dont ask for help, and any time there is a dissatisfaction with your store you rudely respond with insults laced all throughout. Im glad you proved me right, I hope others see this and think twice about where to spend their hard earned money. I bid you good day, but you are no Sir

I cant believe I stood behind this shop for as long as I did. I buy comics only. I had a substantial pull list set up that either was constantly either missing issues, or had extra issues not on my list thrown in. I generally ended up purchasing those extra issues as they were always friendly and help full. We cleared our pull folder out every week, or month if we didnt have time to make it in earlier. These were often $200.00 + purchases. We had also bought numerous single issues under $3.00 (which is where the problem starts). Now I dont know if they have always had a minimum credit purchase amount or if it was just selectively enforced. My wife went in tonight to again pick up a single issue and update my pull list as I had removed quite a few titles over the last few months and I wanted to start some new reading and catch up on some old. So comes the fun part of purchasing a single issue with our visa debit/credit. The comic costs. $2.99. The employee behind the counter starts in with immediate attitude about their minimum purchase required being $3.00. Now at some point a penny becomes more than just a penny. Having said that he offered to run the card at $3.00.. Thanks? When questioned about the "new" policy and if theyre willing to lose a customer/sale over that said penny his answer was not only yes, but youre no longer allowed in here. Now comes the fun part. When questioning the actual owners about this policy and why the employee acted as he did I was told my wife was threatening and hostile and had crossed a line. This was taking place while she was on the phone with me. (I brought this up on their facebook page but my comment about that has seemingly disappeared.. hmmm) The best part is Im told IM in their own words "still permitted". DO you really think Ill be coming in to give YOU money? nope. Its also in very poor taste to portions of conversations containing the truth about what happened. Folks, do yourself a favor. Drive 5 minutes south, get your comics for the same price with a bag and board. You dont have to worry about any new minimum purchase policies there either.

This place is garbage! I like to compare prices, so I went in there to check prices on a few gift ideas, and was treated like I was an inconvenience. Just because someone isnt buying that day, doesnt mean you should treat them like trash. Thats how you make people not want to come back. Everything there is over priced, the owners are rude, no Hasbro products. Whats the point of having a store like this if you dont even have any Star Wars products? All the items are outdated on top of being overpriced. Whats the point of paying hundreds of dollars for stuff that is 10 years old? Store was much better when it was in the mall. Every since they moved locations the customer service has been awful. Did they change owners as well? I will just go buy stuff online from now on, instead of wasting my time going in to their store. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Response: Glad to see that what I wrote was accurate. Calling someone with an honest opinion of your store a potential murderer? Very classy establishment I can see. Because I am "connected" to someone, I have the same view? Okay, sure great way to try and win someone back. What a dump! Like I said earlier, I used to like the store, but for some reason you guys decided to just give up and not care about customer service, which is what keeps a business afloat. Clearly, by all the other negative reviews on here, and on your Facebook, I am not the only person that thinks your store is a joke. Response: Glad you now apparently have Star Wars stuff, good for you guys. Still dont recommend your store. I have been in there actually quite a bit, especially when you were in the mall. I bought a Simpsons water bottle there, that was very over price, like everything else there, back when I liked your store.

FALSE ADVERTISING so frustrating Waste of Time 1/5 stars because of a waste of time experience. listed bellow: Came into dragonvine saw an xing for 250 and obiwan statue for 100 clearly priced and marked Called a day before and wanted to pay with my paypal account, the lady said no problem she would have the invoice ready got a text earlier that morning that it was no longer available– thought it was kinda weird because its been sitting on shelf for like 2 years walked in and wanted to buy other statues – she said that all the items were no longer for sale even they were still displayed and marked. (false advertising) Said because of the movie prices have changed . And no longer available to sell to me. And that she would just list them at premium price. (im guessing on her online store) She asked what you going to do with them? (like thats any of her business anyways) I answered collect them? Look at them? Display them? Then offered to pay with my debit card. She then got her Ipad and checked the online prices, yeah some were priced much higher. But you had them marked on the box 99.95 and 249.95 (I didnt know I had to pay whats its selling for online.) But its your store and your responsibility to have your prices marked and current. Just sell your products at what its marked for thats all I ask. So we both dont waste our valuable time. Oh and you wont have to BAN me for trolling like that other guy that gave you a bad review because I will never shop there again so dont worry. - what kind of reputable business does that anyways?
