I feel awful for giving my money to this business. I guess Ill need to stop walking and start driving elsewhere. This evening at 7:30PM I hit my Walmart threshold. There were several open self-checkouts (which take a minor miracle to make work) but I was buying some beer with dinner so I had to go to a cashier lane. There was one cashier lane open and a line of 8 customers waiting. The line horizontally crossed all the other lanes back to almost the magazines. By the 8 minute mark of my wait, all the self service lanes (half of which were open) also filled up with lines and finally someone paged for "backup cashiers" to come to front. Zero backup arrived. I waited in line for 16 minutes, while contemplating just dropping my stuff and leaving. By the time I got clerked, finally one backup cashier arrived while there were only a couple people left in line. There are plenty of reasons not to shop here, but the convenience was always too tempting. Now, Ill drive down the street to Albertsons or TJs. This is exactly the kind of experience I have had at big box Walmarts, in any state Ive visited or lived in, so I suppose I shouldnt be surprised that this has become just another standard issue Walmart experience. Too bad this company has too much money to go under.

Worst walmart ever horrible customer service.. a girl by the name of Stephanie was so rude.. I happen to run into a friend of mine that was there, I was in the checkout line and happened to be buying beer, my friend had already made her purchase and was walking out, we chatted for a second then she left. When Stephanie went to check me out she started saying she needed to see my friends ID! She said she couldnt be sure if we came there together or not and wasnt going to sell me the beer if she couldnt see my friends ID. .. SERIOUSLY! !?

Oh. my. goodness I will never set foot in this place again. By far the most complicated and unfriendly experience to date. I will definitely stick to Target or other grocery chains for my needs. Very discourteous, slow and unhelpful employees at the customervservice department. Could be lack of training or that they were remedial in their ability to offer or accept simple solutions to my request. Either way I will go out of my way to avoid this place

Hey like the one reviewer noted you cant really expect much it is Walmart...however nice people for the most part. The ladies at the Pharmacy all Rock!! Its also a great place for people watching...its right by the beach so you do get some interesting characters if your shopping out late. Parking lot can get kinda full at night especially on Fridays.

As a field rep i visit lots of retailers and by far this is one of my favorite places. The staff here are great! Friendly, helpfull and knowledgeable. Not your typical Walmart in terms of product though. This store was designed to be more like a drug store w/ groceries, so if you need sheets AND lettuce... this is not the Walmart you need.

Very nice and clean with friendly staff. Its very close to Huntington beach so location is just perfect. Well maintained and good for quick shopping for snacks,fruits and over all grocery and traveling need. You can even buy cold beer as well. Overall very satisfied and good experience.

It doesnt have everything the normal Walmart carries. But it has the essentials. I love the grocery store Walmart. Suggestion: if you cant find it ask a employee. I bet it surprises you. And you can have anything that any Walmart sells, delivered to this store

This is my favorite Walmart marketplace to shop when I have completed all of my shopping and the pharmacy when Im walking up to the checkout one of the lady standing there will show me the quickest way out I appreciate that so very much

Its a Wal-Mart. It does what a wal-mart does. Its main strength is that it is close to the beach. Everything you need at the beach at low prices. Buying anything at the beach is VERY expensive, stock up here before hitting the beach.

I have to give it 5 stars because as I was walking to my car an associate came running after me and handed me my change that I forgot in the self check out, it very nice of her to do so.

Its very clean in great location...but wine selection sucks and its a food only style walmart...but has to be America closest to the beach Walmart ...not sure if thats a good thing

Staff sucks! Like 10 employees working standing around talking on a busy Saturday afternoon... Yet not 1 can open up a 2nd Register? U cant buy EVERYTHING at self checkout. Its rude.

Normally, we hate going to Walmart...but this is unlike any Walmart experience I have ever had. Extremely friendly employees, never any lines at checkout, and of course great prices.

If youre shopping for a few things and dont want to use a cart, bring your own bag to carry groceries -- this store does not have plastic baskets for shoppers. Good prices.
