I have gone to the Rancho Cucamonga PetSmart for years. I am a dog breeder and spend thousands of dollars there a year. A little more than two months ago I bought a two pack of dog dewormer ($30+). I realized it was not going to be enough medicine so I went back to the same PetSmart and bought the six pack of dog dewormer ($60+). I forgot to get a refund on the two pack of dog dewormer. *** Last night I finally remembered to go to PetSmart to return the Two pack dewormer. I had the receipt for two pack and I also brought the receipt for the six pack to prove why I was returning the item. The cashier told me that she could not refund me the money for the item because it was past 60 days. She stated she could give me store credit. I was ok with that because I always shop at PetSmart. *** Another cahier (woman with a tattoo of scissors on her forearm) came over and was very rude. She scolded the employee for attempting to give me a refund. She did this in front of several customers. Not privately. She then was rude with me and told me I could not get ANY refund because it was past the sixty day mark. I explained to her my situation on how I upgraded from a two pack to a six pack and showed her both receipts. She was rude and told me no and continued to scold the cashier. *** I took my product and left. I will never shop at PetSmart again. I will go to petco now. Given the fact that I upgraded the product, and the product was not a highly perishable item, I felt that she could have made an exception on the store sixty day return policy. Aside from that, it was very unprofessional for her to openly scold the cashier and be rude to both of us.

If you are in a bind to get pet supplies, this store may have what you need. However, I went to this store to find a hamster and supplies for my son, and was disappointed. They are more expensive than most other local shops, with a more limited selection in each pet category. The staff I dealt with was limited in their knowledge of this type of pet. They are just order takers like most other big chain businesses nowadays. The animal was in good shape, and I have not seen any issues with it. They are limited on the selection of supplies, both for hamsters and fish (which I spent time looking at as well). I give 3 stars because I took one star away for poor selection, another for high prices, and another for poor customer service (lack of knowledge, lack of willingness to be helpful). I add one back because they are a large chain with warranty on animal and products.

This is a great place to find what you need for any pet. The prices are a little high but the quality is there. Plus if you are not satisfied they stand behind their products and will refund your money which is something I have done a few times without any problems. I did notice that of the three Petsmarts in the area this one puts items on clearance more than the others. Im able to find a good deal on something every now and then because of this. I have a rabbit, tortoise and mini poodle so this place allows me to find new things and essentials that I cant always find at Target or Walmart so I definitely would recommend this place to anyone who likes variety. The staff is fairly knowledgeable and very friendly and the place is clean and of course animal friendly.

This review is specifically for the groomers. I usually take my dog to the one off of 4th st. Due to Scheduling issues I Took my dog today to this location, when i went to pick him up two of the workers (except the one that helped me) had an attitude. As soon as i entered i can hear one of the workers yelling at one of the dogs in the back barking. I understand its not easy but why work here if you have no patience for the animals, my dog came home kind of off, not his usual self! Very sad and scared. This had never happened to him when I take him to the other location. I will just wait for an appt for the other location next time.

People are very helpful but if you want to get vaccinations I suggest you get them somewhere else. If you get the care plan than its alright but if you dont you have to pay 48 everytime you go in to get your dog checked. Its more expensive than the shot. And they dont even do anything just check if your dog is okay to get the shots. Im definitely going somewhere else to get the vacvinations where its cheaper..

horrible customer service, tiny snails in all fish tasks that you cant get rid of once they get into youre home tank, not to mention almost every tank has at least one dead fish in it. pantry moths and maggots in dry cat food aisle which means the food is infested. avoid this place!!

Very friendly staff. Went there with my girlfriend looking to get meal worms and crickets for our Leopard Geckos. The person we spoke with was not only very knowledgeable, but also made some other recommendations for when they get older. Thank you for the help petsmart guy!

I love this place. But I love dogs so I guess Im a little bias. Great dog good selection from cheap to the yummy refrigerated doggy food. Lots of toys and treat selections. Also sell small animals, and fish. Cat adoption center at this location.

I have 3 pets(guinea pig,dog,cat ) and they did not have poor service. I bring my dog their for dog training and shoots and where excellent. When I got my guinea pig their the person helped me to find the right guinea pig.

I love PetSmart!!! Like i told the Mgr. I always find all that i need for all of my pets. Plus their locations are very convenient, i just live 10 min. Away from one of them thanks PetSmart!!!

I took my dog to get groomed while we were on vacation and they did an excellent job! I wish his groomer lived closer because she did amazing and treated him like he was her own dog.

Great store and friendly staff. Pets are allowed inside and given treats at the register. On weekends they have pet adoptions in front of the store.

Grooming salon is nice. Not great but its a lot less then personal groomer and they do a good job. Like the in store vet convenient and helpful.

Very helpful staff. The checker recommended their "puppy guide" which was 17 bucks, but came with so many coupons it actually saved us money.
