We took our dog to get groomed, only one dog was there when we got there. Told it would take about an hour and they would call when he was finished. Since we had just got him from the pound a few days before we asked if they could avoid putting him in a cage so he doesnt get too upset and they said they wouldnt. We left and came back about an hour and fifteen minutes later. When we came back we noticed there were several dogs getting groomed and ours was in a kennel. They said they still had to trim his nails. We paid, took him home and noticed later that day the he would wince and wine when he would try and lay down. We called and they said that nothing happened but if we brought him to their vet and they found that it was something they did they would cover it. A day later we noticed that he started to smell again we wiped inside his ears and noticed that they never touched them. I looked closer at the nails and they had cut two too short and also didnt finish them properly. I will never go back.

I would give zero stars if I could. My mom saw an anemone that she wanted and we asked if it was guaranteed. The employee answered that their items were guaranteed and did not make any mention of the marine animals having no guarantee on them. When we experienced problems with the anemone, we tried to return it, only to find out then that they would not guarantee it. Over a series of phonecalls, the managers refused to relent, regardless of the predicament. My mom spent over 100$ at this location. The end result of all of our phone calls was a refusal for a refund by the manager, who agreed only to exchange it for another anemone. If youre looking to be lied to and mislead and treated like an undervalued customer after spending a good deal of money there, this is the place for you. EDIT: After no small amount of effort, the manager agreed to giving store credit rather than enforcing the trade in.

Exo-Terra Infrared Basking Spot Lamp 50W - Thumbnail Tried to exchange this bulb as it broke overnight. I only have had the bulb for about two months. Last time it exploded on top of my lizard. This time it only lasted 2 months. I tried to exchange it and petco would not do it cause i didnt have "receipt" Yet i had brand new box. Now my lizard is freezing because Petco sold me a bad light bulb and does not have the common decency to replace it. Store manager "Jennifer" at 3384 Tyler St. was more then rude on the phone when asking to exchange it. Ended up hanging up on me. I am never shopping with Petco again. They do not care about the pets, its all about the money. Funny how they do their long term customers.

Every time we come into this Petco and go to the front desk to order and pay for crickets, they take over ten minutes to bring 20 crickets, so we take a look at the reptiles to see how they are looking and while looking at the depressed reptiles we are asked numerous times if we need help with anything, so many times, it is quite bothersome. By the time we go up to the font desk to expect the crickets to be delivered up front, especially since they ask us if we need help so many times, the crickets are still never delivered to the front by the time we come up to the front desk! Other locations in the past, I never waited this long! The employees are very unknowledgeable at this Petco as well.

I will start with saying the store is well stocked and the staff where very friendly and helpful. I was actually offered assistance by 3 different employees on the same visit. That said, when compared to other PetCo locations, i was a bit disappointed. Their selection of animals to be adopted or bought was almost non existent. In addition, the location just seems old and dingy, although that may be to blame on the landlord so I dont judge them on it. Over all the staff is helpful and I will return for pet supplies. But if your looking to adopt or purchase any animals I would recommend you start elsewhere due to selection.

Let me start off by saying the employees are fantastic, but the store policy is ridiculous. I bought an anemone and three days later it dies. For not apparent reason too, i checked all my levels and they were all prefect. I take back the anemone and they didnt want to give me a refund. I understand most of the people dont know how to take care of them so they end up dying but that was not the case for me. It was obvious something was wrong with it when i bought it. I bought all my pet caring things at petco from the start but never will i shop at any petco again.

I took my Cane Corso in today for an ear cleanse. I didnt get names but all the girls there made us feel very welcomed. My dog, Achilles loves all the girls and made him feel very comfortable. The two ladies in the grooming department were very kind, professional, and caring. They made me feel safe leaving my Cane Corso with them. The other girls that work in the store that approached my dog and I where very nice. Definitely going back there again. Great job ladies. First Petco that Ive been to where I felt welcomed along with my Cane Corso. :)

I took my mother here, she moved from Anahiem to corona. So she wanted to get her dogs nails and glands done, but she didnt have the dogs papers on hand, the sweet , friendly girl , forgot her name? She told my mom not to worry she could email the place that she has been using in anahiem. She did, and mom and presious were both a happy camper.

Even the pets dont go here. This is a dirty store. The last time I was here, the cashier had so much dirt under her fingernails that I felt the need to sanitize myself when I got back into my car. The grooming salon is the ABSOLUTE worse. I brought one of my dogs here and they did a horrible job on her. I will NEVER use their services again.

Amazing selections of pet foods including an incredible amout of heathy choices for dogs and cats. My only complaint is that when trying to buy feeder goldfish in the back, the staff takes a really long time to come over and get them for you, but when they do come over they are always friendly and helpful. Overall great place!

I absolutely love this store! I went for grooming and it was top quality all the way from customer service to the quality of the bath/grooming. I also love their dog training classes! I just completed adult level 1 with my pup Patronus and am looking forward to doing adult level 2 !

Always find what I need for my animals. They have a clearence section by check stand. They need to work on moving some where else because there is not enough time to look through it since you dont want to block no one waiting in line to check out. Other that that very organized.
