People ask us all the time; Where did you get that? You only paid what? OMG that cant be for the quality- you never see that, at that price wow!! So, I say to them; lets put it this way-- is it not true when you go to the chain store/outlet jewelers in malls all you see is over priced bead jewelry and what they sell in all fashion of [Rings,Pendants and Earrings] of diamond jewelry that is somewhat affordable to the public is nothing but low end industrial junk?! Quality is no longer affordable, as you find yourselves paying thru the nose and then some; unless you take a trip, as we did to Golden Nugget. Oh and try to locate quality colored stones such as; emeralds, sapphires and rubies that are natural [not hydro-thermal and synthetic]. OK NOW THE SOLUTION – Go to Golden Nugget, like we do [and so often] and save $$ big time and come out with not only quality, but piece of mine. The Golden Nugget Pawn & Jewelry of Holiday, Florida IS a unique shop! Its a delightful trip each time; as we scan the Jewelry area that has both estate jewelry & high-end jewelry [they also have inexpensive jewelry pieces that in no doubt is competitive with any other place]. We also check out the silver & gold coins/bars; as well as the firearms!! Great deals on guns! Occasionally, on our frequent visits – our purchases will vary on other items as well. We look forward to the near future location, just up the street from them – in a bigger and nicer building! Looking forward to the increase high-end jewelry pieces to be available! Oh! And did I mention? They have Lay-a-way too! And it doesnt always mean $$ down! The customer service is great and they treat their repeat/regular customers [like us] like family! Rev. D Kling

These guys are the best hands down. To be quite honest, I always thought a "pawn shop" came with this "stigma" so I was hesitant to go into one. Fast forward to meeting the Valdes family and realizing that my lack of knowledge can really hold a person back. They check every single item thoroughly that comes into their shop. Giving a fair deal on each item in event one wants to redeem their items at such low interest rate. They also go to the large Vegas jewelry show every year to seek out new goods to offer to the public for anyone that has (crazy) reservations as I did. "I dont want to get my engagement ring that may have bad juju and belonged to someone else." However, their jewelry selection is so impressiveness, show or no show!. Yes, Im a tough target market, however they are so on point and thorough, very knowledgeable in pretty much everything Jewelry, electronics, and my favorite...camera equipment. I have no qualms purchasing from them. Anything I need, I check with them first. Who needs Amazon when you have the best customer service and backing right here at Golden Nugget. Great job, guys! Keep it up! Ask for Steve to steer you in the right direction.

The staff here is made up of such friendly people. Other shops Ive gone to I always feel like I have to slink in with shoulders slumped if I need to pawn something. Here its like the employees really do understand that EVERYONE falls on hard times, and they honestly work hard to help you out. Theyre also upfront! If they dont take in an item you bring in, theyll let you know and then try their hardest to help you brainstorm anything else you might have to bring in. Great place to buy stuff too. Theyll show you current prices for things and how they do their pricing to let you know youre getting a good deal when you buy somtehing from them. Theyll call their other shops to see if they have what youre looking for in that store. All around A+ shop. Clean inside, friendly staff, staff is knowledgeable in all departments (pawning, selling, electronics, jewelry, guns, you name it), accommodating managers. I know this is the place I will always go if I need to pawn anything! And I always check here first if Im in the market to buy anything, cant beat the pricing! I love the Golden Nugget!

If you have been searching for an honest Pawn Shop…this is the place! I stopped in a few weeks ago to find out the process of selling a few items. I was expecting to be greeted at the door by phony, pushy Sales people. Instead the staff were friendly and took time with me to answer all my questions. I also discovered they sell antiques, musical instruments, designer purses and tons of other cool stuff at seriously reasonable prices. This is not just only an amazing Pawn Shop…but you will also enjoy visiting with the staff. Thumbs up Golden Nugget Pawn…you rock!!

You never really think about having an ongoing relationship with a pawn shop, but not every pawn shop is like Golden Nugget Pawn & Jewelry. Since the 1st time I went in there quite a few years ago & pawned an item to make it until payday, to the many Items I have purchased since. From tools to firearms and electronics in between. They always remember my name & make me feel welcomed. Couple that with the great deals & prices. I now stop in frequently just to say hi and see what else I can add to my collection of (things). I HAVE BEEN GOING TO GOLDEN NUGGET FOR APPROXIMATELY 20 YEARS, I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TREATED RIGHT AT THIS PAWN SHOP. IT IS MORE LIKE A HIGH END RETAIL JEWELRY AND REPAIR SHOP. IVE PURCHASED MANY ITEMS AT GREAT PRICES AND THE REPAIRS IVE HAD HAVE ALWAYS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. THANKS TO THE OWNER STEVE FOR ALWAYS GIVING ME GREAT PRICES AND THANKS TO GABBY FOR HELPING ME WITH MY PURCHASES AND FOLLOWING THROUGH ON ANY REPAIRS I LEAVE FOR THEM. The selection of merchandise is diverse and affordable. The jeweler is the best in craftsmanship and creativity. This place has no clue about value of guitars. Low ballers. These guys are ripping people off. BEWARE SELLERS Coming back for a second review of this business and still getting the same rating tried again gave me another shot you go in there thinking they may have stuff cheaper because they burn people on the price of the pond item. But in reality I just suck all the way around. Sounds like a brothel with no benefit.
