WARNING KAYS JEWLER: My son bough his girl friend a beautiful diamond promise ring for Christmas from Kays Jeweler. They will not size the ring with out an additional charge that is actually twice the price of taking it to a regular jeweler that didnt sell them the ring. I call customer service and they heartlessly said she could RETURN the ring! REALLY? Any of you girls ever got a ring from the man you love? Would you be okay with returning it? If she wanted to exchange it for the same in in her size they wanted $150 more?!? So I called other jewelers, they all said the same thing..sizing a ring purchased from them is just part of the sale. But they they also said "We give the girl a ring guard for a few months so she can wear it and we dont take it away from her.. FOR $3...then they size it for free!!!!! Shame on you Kays Jeweler... Customer service SUX! Share this to warn all the young people .. dont go to Kay Jewelers unless you want your romantic moment turned into a nightmare!!!!

I dont want to bad talk all of the people that work for Kays because thats not the issue. This company needs to do a better job of weeding out the employees that are not willing to give their customers the best service they can provide. Today I went into this location to place an order and I was asking the gentlemen a few questions before I went ahead and purchased. He was so rude, spoke with an attitude, and truthfully didnt seem interested in making this sale. Speaking from a person who works in sales its never good to bite the hand that feeds you. I was just in shock of the lack of customer service that was provided. Your customer should ALWAYS be your number one priority. I will not be returning to the New Port Richey location to make any of my purchases. This stores loss.

Dont go here if you want service right away. I took my ring to be resized and it took them two weeks... where as any other functioning jeweler had other peoples rings right away. I wish I wouldnt have gone to them at all.
