Nick Lavda should feel ashamed of himself and his business. Although the ring he sold my fiance is beautiful, it is extremely poorly made. I have only had it for three months and it is falling apart. Actually, it has been falling apart since the first week. I have had to take it in for repairs 4 times in 3 months. People go to jewelry stores to purchase precious gifts for their loved ones- they expect to get the best service and the best quality for their money. I have had my ring appraised by two separate and reputable individuals who work in the industry and they both had nothing but bad things to say about the ring. They said stones were set in the halo sideways and there was no stamp on the inside indicating a brand for the ring (among other issues). They both suggested that I ask for a trade in as soon as possible to avoid having to deal with further problems with this ring. When my fiance called Lavdas to ask them about it, Nick said come on in and switch your ring out for something different. When we got there, his response was "I challenge who ever said that to you to call me and say it to my face! There is nothing wrong with this ring." He then sent us on our way. Since when is that an appropriate response to say to a concerned client? I left his store in tears and enraged. I went there to deal with a problem I was having, and instead the owner of this store made it all about him and the fact that he thinks other jewelers have it out for him. I would give anything to be done with Lavdas jewelry store forever, but unfortunately I have to take it in every 4 months to keep my warranty valid. And we all know I will definitely need the warranty since the ring falls apart every time I move my hand. Thank you Lavdas for making what is is supposed to be the most special time in my life the biggest headache in my life.

The materials in a $5,000 diamond ring wont be remotely near that. Are you really going to pay that much for $50 worth of 14k gold at a scrap rate, and diamonds are a dime a dozen these days. The worlds jewellers are all running giant price fixing operation. Diamonds are scam. Try selling it (see Craigs list) and you find out the real value. The fact they convince people to spend thousands on a rock which is completely useless just shows how stupid people still are. Jewelry will never worth what you paid for it. People blind enough to still take part in it, its their own fault. Imo you have to be a fool to spend that much on something that trivial.

I bought an engagement ring from lavdas. I thought they had the best selection and the best price of anywhere I went. I definitely went to at least a dozen places couldnt find anything I really loved. So I was absolutely thrilled when I went to lavdas and they had a ring that was better than anything Id even imagined. The cherry on top of this Sunday is they put it in my price range. So I would definitely be back and I recommend it to anyone.

Great service!! I had moved to florida and was back for vacation. My husband had lost his wedding ring that we purchased here. We went in hoping they still had the same kind we had purchased. I believe her name was Carrie, had looked up our original order which they did not have. Carrie called the company , had it ordered and at the store the next day. Amazing service!!
