WHAT A JOKE! Just like all the other Kay stores I have visited, the sales associates and the company as a whole is a RIP OFF! Not only do they sell overpriced jewelry, but their jewelry appraises for pennies on the dollar! I own two Diamond rings I purchased from Kays, one ring here in Michigan at this location and another in Tucson, AZ. With that being said, the ring from AZ is a Black Tungsten 1/4 ct ring, but due to the fact that its in Tungsten and Tungsten isnt a precious metal, its worthless because no place will buy it. Now onto the ring I purchased at the Lakeside location, it is a 1/4 ct Black and White Diamond Sterling Silver ring, which was just appraised for, wait for it.... $6. Because of the fact that the silver isnt worth much, and the diamonds are small and pretty much worthless. The moral of my rant is DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM KAY JEWELERS!!! Its a waste of your money, and will be a waste of your time if you plan on reselling it.

1 star is more than they deserve. Worst purchasing experience. I ordered a ring. When I was told it was ready for pickup, they had lost it and I waited an hour just to find out it was wrong and they had to send it back. Next I got bands to go with, they had 1 and had to order the second. They said it would be 10 days, 2 weeks later I went by to find the order was in and nobody called... then they get the ring and it is the wrong one. Then they had problems determining the real rings sku and ordering it, this totaled 4 more visits. Finally get the right ring and notice that the ring is $100 less than what they had me pay. So for the 2 I should have gotten $200 back, they only refunded $106 and for the whole experience all I got was a lame apology.

Worst experience ever I just walked out because of how rude they were. My boyfriend was nice enough to take me to get something, not one person greeted us. We pushed it aside and waited to be helped but instead I had to go get someone and she litteraly looked at the case took a guess at the price and walked away to greet someone walking in the door after I stood there for 20 minutes and waited to be helped. Terrible dont know if they were blowing us off because we were younger but I will be picking something out esle where. Worst coustmer service dont know why people still go to this location. If I could rate negative I would dont WASTE YOUR TIME HERE !

I went into this store looking for an engagement ring. I explained to them that I was in the early stages of shopping and just wanted to see what was available for future reference. Even after explained that to the salesmen AND the manager, they were extremely pushy and just kept throwing rings at me to try to get me to buy one. Then after stating that I liked the looks of one of the rings they showed me, the Manager took it up to the front counter and was persistent about selling it to me. After telling them I was not going to buy, they both were disgusted with me. I would not recommend this location to anyone!!

Would give zero if I could. Multiple things went wrong with our experience. We should have known better based on previous experiences but I guess its our own fault for going back. They will tell you whatever they need to just to get the sale. We were told we would get a credit towards a diamond upgrade, we were told we would get $100 voucher to use in the store, and we were told we would get 0% for 36 months if we open up a card. All of this turned out to be false information. Unfortunately we didnt find this out until after the fact.

Been here a few times and each time the service keeps getting worse. They are rude, not willing to help and only interested in selling what is convienent for them. One lady asked if she could help me, while munching on some food... which everyone that has worked in customer service knows this is a big noooo, when I told her what I was looking for she let someone else help me. Then the sales lady that was told to work with me got mad when I wouldnt buy $400 earrings from her. Over this location and their crappy service.

Horrible experience. They "misplaced" our ring three days before our wedding and acted like it wasnt even a big deal. I wouldnt spend another penny at this place. Id give no stars if I could. Still waiting on a call back from the manager...but thats okay take as long as you want. Ill just make sure everyone knows about how awful you treated us.

Deserves a ZERO!! Always rude and pushy since they work on commission. I worked for Sterling Jewelers (The main company they are owned by) at a JB Robinson. They had actual emails bragging about maxing out customers credit lines!!! If you think their service and products are bad, working for these vampires is worse.

The clasp on the bracelet purchased there keeps falling apart. Stones from a ring purchased there fall out. Some of the jewelry designs are nice, but customer service at this store is a complete joke. Avoid the headache and shop somewhere else.
