I purchased a Trek Earl a few years ago and after a fee weeks of riding there was an annoying clanking. I took it back for service and was told that I should ride it some more to break it in and it should go away. After breaking it in, I took it back at which point the manager I believe told me that he had the same bike and had the same problem. He tried to fix and even replaced the crank on his own bike. He had the same issue and said it was a known problem that this model had so there was nothing he could do. After $550 and now a used bike I was stuck. Recently, my wife purchased a new bike at the garage bike shop and the owner seemed really genuine so I took in my bike. After he rode it himself he located that the clanking was coming from the sprocket on the rear wheel. 10 mins later and $12 for parts and installation, my bike was better than when I first purchased it. It blew me away of how simple the repair was, and even more so of how unwilling this store was willing to help. Im sure this is a one off scenario but it happened and I wish it didnt.

Avid mountain biker who took 10 years off. Back into the sport. Friend recommended my wife shop here for kids accessories for their bikes. Staff very helpful with helmet fitting and selection. I decided to drop in for my next bike. Just bought a Stumpjumper FSR. Test rode several bikes, staff fitting of bikes for me to test ride was terrific. Vanessa paid close attention to ride stance, style, my needs. Offered me several component and price categories. Very knowledgeable on all bikes. Staff brought in bike from another Landis store for me to try. Bought the bike and accessory group to get me back in the saddle. Thank you Vanessa and staff for your time, honesty and great service. Highly recommend a visit to Southern Ave, Landis Cyclery.

This has to be one of, if not THE best bike shop in Phoenix. They have a great selection and the service is awesome. I had a bike fitting on a bike I purchased from a different bike shop, and they still treated me as though I purchased the bike from them. They took so much time to answer all of my technical questions and addressed every concern of mine in a timely - but not rushed - manner. Now I really wish I had purchased my bike from them and plan on purchasing a new bike for my wife from them in the near future. On a side note, I visited a different Landis shop about a year ago and wasnt very impressed. But the Landis shop in Tempe rocks. I highly recommend them.

Landis treated me like their very best customer. They replaced my "defective tire" with a better tire. I then had the same experience with the better tire (which they provided for free). I then took my whole bike to them, with the same problem. It was pointed out to me that my break pads were breaking half way into my tire causing the problem( A seam separation near the rim) Landis then mounted a new tire and trued my rim. Cost =ed, half the price of the tire; thats it. I have been a customer of Landis for at least 6 years, they back up there work and are fair.

I was sold a bike that was the wrong size by Global Bikes (Ray & 101). I tried contacting Global to help me fix the issue and they were not helpful at all. I went to Landis Cyclery and they were absolutely amazing. Kevin and Vanessa helped me adjust the bike until it was perfect, even though I didnt purchase the bike there. They really cared about making me comfortable on my rides. When I purchase my next bike, I will defiantly be buying here where they are knowledgeable and friendly. They defiantly won over a life-long customer.

Pretty good service and workmanship! I shopped for my road bike from this store, and I probably came in 5 times over a few weeks to shop and test ride bikes to find exactly what I wanted before I finally dived in and they were very accomodating every time! Also took my bike back a year later to have them upgrade the drivetrain with a new gruppo I purchased online, and they did a great job with that as well. Only downside was the timeframe it took, but thats understandable when youre replacing so many parts on the bike.

The perfect place to go to get ripped of by a couple of con artist. These guys are the best no other shop, besides slippery pig is at the same low level, they put fees on every single individual component. I mean every bolt, fastener, washer, pocket lint, you name it. Stuff that you could certainly get for free anywhere else, because it is bulk castaway junk that is laying around, Landis sales this stuff no less than $0.25 each.

I guess their customer service depends on which employee is there that day, but when I went in looking for a product they were of no help to me and didnt care that their website showed they had a product in stock but they told me they had none and offered no apology or rain check or anything. I prefer the location off Warner in Chandler, way better staff there

Worst maintenance imaginable. I paid for a full $220 tune-up and they forgot to tighten my rear hub assembly. I took it back to fix the wheel and 3 rides later the crank arm stripped because it was loose. When I went to pick up my bike after they replaced the damaged crank arm I found the petal on my new crank was loose. At this point im lucky im still alive.

Dave over at Landis went above and beyond for me. I brought my wheelchair in for new tires and he even replaced missing spokes. Did I mention my old spokes dont exist anymore he had to make his own. The customer service experience and friendly staff makes you feel at home. Thank you Dave and Landis you have a customer for life. I would recommend to everyone.

Bought my Specialized here 3 months ago, the sales guy was very patient and helpful. I brought it back yesterday, and they adjusted the rear hub and replaced the bottom bracket under warranty completely free of charge. After several bad experiences at the local bike shop, coming here has exceeded my expectations.

Unfortunate for me Im in the shop more often than I prefer but the staff is super knowledgable, on top of their game, and communicate well. A lot of bike shops can be hit or miss especially with specialty work but Landis has been on the spot every time with me.

I love this place! When I started getting into biking I didnt know who to turn to for advice. The crew at Landis is so helpful and they have basic bike repair classes and fix a flat classes. Prices are fair too! I will always come here!

They took such great care of me and really want to help you enjoy cycling with the right gear. They were respectful and ended up fixing my bike instead of just throwing on the new part for fun. They take pride in their work. Great shop!

My experience has been always been very good here. I have used a few shops in this area and this one is by far the best. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable without being arrogant or condescending. Very refreshing.
