Levin Furniture has the shadiest customer service Ive ever dealt with. I went in on a Saturday to put a couch on layaway. My salesperson was exceedingly friendly and a pleasure to work with, unfortunately, everything else about my experience with Levin took a nose dive the second I left the store. The following Wednesday, I got a call from Levin saying that they needed me to pay off my layaway immediately or they were going to sell the couch to someone else because it was on sale. What?? Thats the whole point of layaway to begin with, to be guaranteed a product at a certain price. I really wanted the couch so I managed to come up with the full payment 9 days after I picked out the piece. Somehow, my order got changed to store pickup, even though I had paid the $90 delivery fee so the delivery was delayed another three days. Also, the salesperson did not know the dimensions of the couch, and at no point in time was I ever given the dimensions on the couch. When the driver arrived at my apartment this morning, he took one look at my entryway and said "its not gonna fit, go pick out a smaller couch" and left. I drove BACK out to Avon Lake from Cleveland for the third time in two weeks, only to be told that I would be sent a refund check in the mail. I paid for the couch in cash. So now, I not only still do not have furniture, but Ill have to wait at least a week before I can go find something else. Do not buy from Levin. What a joke of a company.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. No matter who youre dealing with whether it be a manager, sales associate, etc. NONE of them keep their word. Promise things just to make a sale, and then youre left waiting and having to deal with a MESS just to get your couch. Our first couch we purchased arm rest broke on both sides (because it was made out of cardboard) I contacted them via email to schedule a return before my 7th day warranty was voided. Didnt hear anything back. So I ended up having to go into the store and deal with the manager. Even though I have black and white proof showing I contacted them on day 6 of it arriving they still were going to charge a restock fee. SO THEIR WARRANTIES DONT MEAN ANYTHING.THEY DONT STICK BY THEIR WORD, AND DONT CARE. Our second couch purchase got messed up. We werent suppose to have our returned couch sent back until they delivered the new couch, however, once again thats not what happened. So long story short, when I call to deal with them about it, I requested to speak to the manager, and they hung up on me. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND FRUSTRATION AND SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Overall a terrible experience! I purchased an entire bedroom suite and expressed that I needed it to come together and on the promised date. The bed did not show up, and was indefinitely on backorder. I was unable to obtain a delivery date from the store. After 4 months of waiting, I called the store to get some more information, and I received a healthy dose of attitude. Lots of pushing the buck around, huffing, puffing and general lack of concern that I am without my purchased items, but also without even a date of arrival. The customer service rep at the store did not know the company policies and ended up giving out false information about the warranty. Overall, just a terrible experience,,,,, especially considering the hefty cost of the items. I will go elsewhere from now on. (I guess once I actually receive all of my purchased items)

Delivery problems! Still waiting for my furniture! Levins didnt show up with my furniture in the time spot from 2-5 after waiting there all day and wasting my Saturday I then called after 5 only for them to tell me it was rescheduled for another week away. Thanks for the call Levins. ( no they didnt call) what great customer service. They can sell you furniture but we cant deliver till next month after you make your purchase. Also sitting here for a week with no furniture because they called twice this week to confirm delivery so we got rid of our old furniture thinking it was coming. The manager of the Avon Ohio store said he was sorry but nothing he could do. Thanks again Levin Furniture in Avon,Ohio.

Bought a dining set, couch, recliner, ottoman, and mud bench. Took the bench home, had to wait 2 weeks for dining set and ottoman (that matches new couch), 3 weeks for couch and 4 weeks for recliner. Dining set n ottoman were delivered without incident. I got 2 calls verifying that my couch would be here today! I got rid of my living room set this morn, as requested to have furniture moved before they arrive. No call no show. I called and they just apologized about how someone was supposed to call n tell me they werent coming for another week (different day than recliner). Now the only thing in my living room is an ottoman for my family to share until next week. I am so upset!

If I could give them negative stars I would. The staff is terrible. Nobody approached me until 45 minutes after looking around and that was because I said something. They were too interested in people that "looked like they had money" that were walking in. Anyways, end up making an order and they pushed back the delivery date by a month. When they do deliver, its an hour early and they put it in the grass in our front yard and left. This place is a joke. Will take my business elsewhere next time, same with my family and friends. PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF AND GO SOMEWHERE THAT WANTS YOUR BUSINESS.

Completely screwed up our order, showed up with the wrong furniture, left us with nothing for 3 weeks (because we ditched our old furniture in anticipation of our new stuff). Made us come back into the store and promised to work with us (because the original furniture we ordered was discontinued come to find out) but did no such thing - ended up paying more for something comparable to our original order. Spent a lot of money on a big disappointment. I do not recommend Levin Furniture nor do I recommend anyone going there.

I have had issues in the past with Levin and ended up shopping there again only because it is close to my house. We needed to buy a bed frame and ended up spending about double what we wanted to and that was fine. The part that wasnt fine was us unnecessarily buying a box spring to go with it when there were other options (trundle bed option and use with no boxspring) that the sales rep didnt mention to us because they were either uninformed or wanted to make a bigger sale having us add a box spring to our order.

We needed to pick out new living room furniture tonight so we drove 40 minutes from our home to the Avon store. It was well worth it! From the moment we walked in the showroom our salesperson Jason welcomed us with a friendly handshake and a willingness and helpfulness that exceeded our expectations. He was extremely knowledgeable and quickly directed us to the selections that would meet our needs. We will be making this trip for future purchases for the exceptional service that Jason provided!

The sales staff at the store were fantastic. However with the delivery they do not let you choose the delivery time frame only the date. They then claIm that you are cancelling youre delivery and want to charge you $50 for cancellation when you ask if your product can be delivered later in the day, since I cant get out of work during the time frame thames gave me. I will never buy from their company again because of this.
