Loved my Experience at the Homestore in Spartanburg, SC but the customer service/delivery department in Charlotte is awful. Delivery has been messed up the last three times ive ordered. This last time it was messed up and they noted that they informed me it would be 1-2 weeks for part of my order to arrive and this was not true. Delivery showed up at my home without the base for my table and informed me of that upon delivery. The delivery driver called customer service for me and the representative either hung up on me or the phone was disconncected without the issue being resolved. Could not get back through to talk to anyone nor did they try to call me back to get the issue resolved. Its been 2 days since my partial delivery and I still havent been informed of when the rest of my delivery will arrive. The delivery department does not care about customer satisfaction AT ALL! There is no guarantee you will get your merchandise when they tell you and they wont inform you in advance! If I did not accept the partial delivery I was told they would not hold it for me and there would be a chance that when the rest of my order came in they they wouldnt have the current delivery, just very disorganized and dishonest.

Mason the sales manager is the guy to see! Very helpful with our purchase! He went above and beyond to make sure we are getting what we wanted and are pleased with it and explained what we could do if we werent. We came in within an hour of closing both times and he wasnt hesitant to leave or was he in any way pushy! Mason and my husband were moving furniture around to make sure we liked the layout and what we already had purchased years ago would match what we were buying. We just closed on our house and was also trying to figure out how much room we would have with our sectional being able to recline etc. He was more than helpful, very friendly, and honest. This is why we will keep purchasing from Ashley Furniture in Spartanburg! Thank you Mason!

In my opinion I highly SUGGEST NO ONE waste your time or money here! They lie to you to get the sale and the part it can be returned in 1 day is a lie as well. All sales are final for mattresses, foundations, adjustable bases, Bunkie boards, metal rails, pillows, bed liens, mattress protectors, rugs, accessories, show room merchandise, & clearance items. ALSO 10% Restocking fee and $79 pick up fee will be applied AND delivery fee will NOT be refunded! The WE CARE customer service line is a JOKE! So do your research and buyer beware or you will end up with a $994 mistake that you can not do nothing about! I had a bed delivered, did not like it and asked for it for to be picked up that day to find out I am stuck with this piece of CRAP!

Poor customer service when pieces delayed. Poor follow up and serious lack of putting the customer first. When issue arise 2 different times promised phone calls back didnt happen. When spoke to GM, all she wanted to do was pick up what was delivered and refund my money. She stated she was getting frustrated. I was appalled, she was frustrated that I was inconveniencing her, I am the customer I am the one that should have been frustrated but all I wanted was my sons bed. All she wanted to do was pick up what was delivered and refund my money which was something I never asked for. Learn to listen to your customers and put their needs ahead of yours.

We went to Ashley Furniture during the 4th of July sale, and purchased a Chivington style reclining sofa and recliner rocker. Our salesperson, Erin Emory was very friendly and cordial as she guided us through the purchase process. Our furniture was finally delivered this past Wednesday, after we were given an estimated delivery date of July 26th. While this was a bit annoying, we were notified by the customer service that the sofa was ready to be shipped a few weeks ago, the rocker was not and it was our choice to wait and have them both delivered on the same day.

Spent over $2600 on two tables and a sectional sofa. Both tables were damaged in transit for delivery and I refused delivery of both. The company they contract out to deliver furniture damaged the door frame in my house and instead of paying for the damages - I get emails stating they "may" need this information to proceed or "might" approve the claim. The store manager was supposed to call to "make sure any damages were taken care of" - no call has been received. Needless to say - I will NEVER purchase anything from them again.

Purchased leather sofa and was given a delivery date of a month from day of service. They did not deliver as planned. Delivery was confirmed by the carrier then they called back and said it would be several days later. The later time was not convenient and I was told if I was not available at that time they would give my sofa to the next person on the waiting list for that particular item and I would have to wait on another one to be manufactured! WTH?

I just received my guest bedroom furniture yesterday and I was very pleased with the delivery service of Joseph and Heath. They were thoughtful enough to ask if I had a bed skirt that I wanted to put on the new bed before the final assembly. I do appreciate their courteous attention. I previously purchased my living room suite, dining room and chair set and bedroom furniture from Ashley Furniture and had a very good experience!

Buying the furniture was a pleasant enough experience. The delivery was awful. Two damaged items, one of the delivery people was not being careful with the furniture, and the customer care lady, Annie, was unprofessional and rude. You only have one opportunity to refuse, so if the next piece is damaged its on you. Ridiculous. I will NEVER buy another piece of furniture from them.

Had to wait an entire month for my delivery and they kept pushing it back. Ended up finding the same furniture somewhere else for cheaper. Will never shop here again, and I suggest you dont either.
