staff is very kind and they sometimes carry good pet items such as beds, toys, and clothes. The only dislike is that everything has rat feces. If you go to the back where the dog crates are located, you can hear them and see all the urine and poo they leave behind. Its super smelly and worrying because some of us go with our pets or kids. This past month i went 2x and on my last trip i got a nasty surprise and touched rat piss, then my daughter(4yr old) was feeling the dog beds and she touch rat poop! I use to love this Petco. But i honestly think they need to close it for a while to clean up, its been 3yrs like this. i would know because i always come here to shop for my bird, dogs, turtle, hamsters, and fishes. sadly for now i will take my shopping needs to Petsmart.

They carry a variety of supplies for pets and often have what youre looking for, but they are not very well informed. Seeing some of the enclosures for the reptiles are inaccurate and potentially harmful to the animals. For example, bearded dragons and leopard geckos are on sand, which is known to cause a plethora of issues, from sickness to injury. The crested geckos were not being fed the mixture that is meant to be their main diet, and instead were fed insects, which should be a staple food at best. I overheard an employee informing a man on how to care for a corn snake, and he not only recommended sand, but said that they were nocturnal. From my experience, its safer to do research before purchasing an exotic pet BEFORE buying it, so you wont be misinformed.

I myself not always have the time to write a review only when deemed necessary. I have been on the internet for twenty years and this is my third review. I had to write this review for a employee in the fish department. LAWRENCE answered every question and knew where ever product was. He was personable, convivial, adept and discerning. I am writing this review hoping Corporate will recognize this employee and the excellent service he provided me. Not only will this be the only store I buy supplies from but I will recommend this Petco to my family, friends and coworkers. Store is conveniently located in the Sears AMC mall next to AAA . Plenty of parking . Employees very friendly and eager to help very knowledgeable for the most part . The store itself is clean , clean restrooms . They do have pet grooming available . Every so often they have adoption days. They do have Adams flea line which is top-of-the-line. I do not trust any other line of product more than this, But it may only be found in the cat section not dog .

LEAVE TIPS FOR THE DOG GROOMERS PEOPLE! These dog groomers deal with dogs that most people dont want to wash (myself included) and it amazes me that customers come and dont leave tips! Do you ever leave a hair salon not leaving a tip? This grooming team is the best Ive ever met and deserve thanks for the things they put up with
