I had the worst food poisoning ever!!!!! Heres the story; I go ther frequently to get some remade food, bring it home and eat it right away for lunch or dinner... I purchased some grilled herbed chicken, plantains and lemon rice... I brought it home and ate it with in one hour, in fact I ate it out of the very to-go container it came in. Not an hour later the 1st vomit occurred, again and again and again then came the diarrhea, is he now both ends the entire night all the way to the following day off… If I want to marry morning still throwing up I called Chris the manager of whole foods in Ridge Hill and told him what happened just to see if anybody else called and his response was that he was so sorry and he would love to give me a $20 gift certificate for my trouble and I hope that I feel better. He was very "nice". Who is the best grandma I spent $600-$800 a month at whole foods and I also own enough stock in the company that I could purchase a very expensive house in Westchester New York… To offer me a $20 gift certificate and to not call back and make sure that Im better is just inappropriate and not enough . There was something obviously wrong with the food because I have no allergy to anything I ate and Ive eaten the exact same thing there over 10 or 12 times in the past 3 or 4 months... I called back and I suggested that I get $20 gift certificate as offered for each vomit at 15 vomits and I never got a response... Things happen, I get it but its the way you deal with a customer when it does really matters much more than the vomit in the diarrhea. I lost about 6 pounds

WF produce typically lasts a bit longer and tastes better than most supermarket offerings, but is of course more expensive. When in season, though, the nuts and dried fruit section is probably the best in the area, and the store features heavenly brownies at the Greyston Bakery, a Yonkers enterprise known for its open hiring practices, whose profits go towards community day care, medical clinics and other socially necessary functions. However, after (i) signing up online for a specific food order via the holiday table, (ii) getting a confirmation number, (iii) checking in store a week earlier, to find the order not retrievable (iv) calling the store back with the confirmation number to discover the order HAD been found in the meantime and (v) adding two items to the order, THE EVENING BEFORE THE DINNER, we got a call to say that the original order had not been filled as "it hadnt been approved by the supervisor." Can you believe that ??? We were offered free organic chickens instead (and given two to feed a party of 14). Unreal.

We drive from the Bronx to shop and eat here. Since they opened the quality and customer service has declined. This is very disappointing, especially when you pay a premium for beautiful food only to find that the bread is moldy, produce is rotten and the meat turned. When I returned the foul fare, I was met with a bad attitude by a cashier. I was expecting an apology for receiving sub-par groceries, that didnt happen. We vowed not to go there anymore until this past weekend. I was at the new Container Store across the street and decided to give it one more chance. I was pleasantly surprised! The produce was super fresh (no liquid tomatoes), the hot bar was fresh and the people working there were really nice! Maybe they got allot of complaints? Perhaps they are cleaning up their store? I hope so, its a beautiful store and mall.

I live down the road so it is very convenient for me to get my groceries there. But I wont shop there anymore no matter how convenient. The last 3 TIMES I have shopped there, I got home and my chicken breast had turned. When I opened the vacuum sealed packet I nearly fell over with the stench. It happened two more times, and I called and complained and then I wrote an email to complain when it happened the 3d time. Ciro Alfieri the manager (no relation to me) wrote me back saying that he stands by his product 100%. Just so you know, before you go there, they stand by their products 100% even if they have turned and will make you sick. Way to go whole foods!

I might ask if it was just me who thought the customer service wasnt very good, but its not just me judging by other reviews. Im not saying that all of the staff are rude, but some are and give off this vibe like they are suffering themselves to help you. Also, as others have said, most of the products are overpriced. Unfortunately, theyre the only store I know that sells vegan yogurt alternatives. Looks like Ill either have to go without or look elsewhere (I was disappointed to find that Trader Joes has nothing of the sort).

Convenient location to buy organic produce and its usually fresh. But lately the organic offerings have diminished. Pink Lady Apples may have gone out of season. But the Fuji I just ate was utterly tasteless. Its labeled organic, but I am doubting it. Its expensive, so ones expects quality. The staff are usually great. Walk me to the item when I am looking for something. Friendly at the cash registers.

The Bakery department is now mediocre at best but the service is unforgivable. Honestly, I am not too sure what the deal is with their employees. I feel kinda bad saying it but the employees seem VERY stupid. Even worse, the people I have dealt with are rude. Because of the service alone, I will no longer be patron of Whole Foods. Ill stick with Stew Leonards, which is across the street.

IF YOU ORDER A FRESH TURKEY DONT LET THEM CHEAT YOU. IT IS N-O-T FRESH. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE ARE NO OPTIONS IN THE AREA SO THESE THIEVES DONT HAVE COMPETITION AROUND. I ORDERED A FRESH ORGANIC FREE RANGE TURKEY TO FIND OUT IT WAS A BLOCK OF ICE WHEN I GOT HOME. IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE MEAT DEPARTMENT THERE. INSTEAD OF WHOLE FOODS IT SHOULD BE CALLED WORSE FOODS.

I live a few blocks away from this place, went there once a few days ago and will never return again. Its by far the worst Whole Foods ive been to. The staff at the bakery department were completely unprofessional and lazy, the cake was stale and the frosting tasted way too sugary. Very disappointed. Liked: Convenient location Disliked: Service, Selection, Value

I have had many of the same complaints listed here. We no longer buy milk from this location because it is usually bad when we go to drink it at home. This happens consistently. Meat products have been disgustingly past prime and not fit to be sold on a consistent basis. For boxed items and some vegetables they are more reliable. This is one of the worst Whole Foods.

This is the worst store in NY. The seafood handlers are very sloppy and dirty, the salad bar is awful and the cashiers are terrible, they talk to each other and make mistake. You are better off going to white plain where the store is a lot cleaner. This company should be a shame of themselves and this store. Very very sad because in general we love whole foods!!
