Unfortunately I had a horrible experience in the fish section of the store. I walked in the fish area no one even asked if I needed help. I asked the boy if he could help me get a Koi fish. He quickly responded well how big is your tank?? I told him 50 gallons which is way more than the small fish tank that the fish had been living in for months at the store. Which is funny because Melody another fish expert from the store had told me that they were just holding tanks. Then the Asian boy put the fish in the bag and handed it to me without saying anything about care of the fish. Last time I came into the store Melody gave me 21 questions about my tank and scared me out of the store. Its almost like they dont want to sell the fish. Sorry petco but what happened to the customer service that I used to get from the store. Im very disappointed:(

Prices are high, and very little stock in regard to rescue birds who are now companion animals. BUT, I see that Petco has now joined the forces and is having local companion animal adoptions! THAT is a very, very, VERY GOOD THING! So I had just clicked on three stars but, thinking back on THAT, I am going to raise my choice to FOUR stars, specifically because of that. Frankly, though, NO "pet stores" should ever, ever, EVER be selling ANY animals who have been bred!!!! Its horrible. So there is that.

Brittany is by far the best dog trainer around! We have taken our dogs to 6 classes between the two of them with her, and she has been great every time. She is professional and patient, and does a lot of positive reinforcement, but also encourages your dog to "think about it" and figure out what you want them to do. My dogs have both improved a lot, and loved learning with her. We recently moved out of the area and so far, have not been able to find anyone even half as good as her, sadly.

Everyone here is fast, helpful and friendly :) These arent people just there to make money these are people who have knowledge about animal supplies and love animals as well. The environment or the store is relaxing and the animals in it are well cared for. Way to go everyone!

I really like Petco. I dont really see a huge difference between PetSmart and Petco. Theyre competitors, but Im always a happy customer either way. I love both of the pets Ive bought at each.

Solid 5 star store. The staff spent 20 minutes securing $20 worth of fish for my three children. Sweet and patient people there.

The store just remodeled inside and re-organized the products, overall good products but I believe they no longer have rabbit :/

Remodel is beautiful! Fish are cheaper at Petsmart, but other than that theyre really comparable!
