Im giving Petco a star, I wish i could give them 0 stars. I would not recommend anyone to go here. They dont care about your pets, They only care about money. Today, me and my family decided to take our 7 month old Maltipoo for his first grooming. At first, the employees seemed very nice. The guy working at the grooming told us that they wouldnt groom our dogs fur short since he was a puppy and they would take 5 hrs to groom him because they didnt want to stress our dog out. Since this was our first grooming I thought our dog would be fine. After , 3 hrs later Petco called us to tell us our dog was ready. Except, they called for the wrong dog. Somehow they mixed up the name of my dog with another dog. About 5 minutes later they called me again to tell me my dog was ready. When i went to get my dog I was very upset. Not only did they cut his hair too short( he looked naked!) they told us we couldnt take our dog for grooming again because he was too aggressive ! When we got home, we were surprised. My dog wasnt acting at all like himself. He was silent and kept sitting down. When i tried to hold him, he cried. My dog seemed traumatized. It was the worst experience of my dogs life and mine. If you love your dog or any pet, do not get them groomed here.

Great store to go to because theres an animal to buy like fishs and cats and dogs and birds and everything its very awesomes stores to go and also you could buy fish food and dogs foods and also cats food and birds food as well its very cool store i like it a lots and I go there few of times to buy my fish and food and the tank too for my fish. And I like to enjoy the store petco or animals store as well? And also I buy dogs some dog collar and I buy another fish when my other fish dies and I get a new fish but blue fish.

Ok I realize that stores need to mark up prices due to overhead and all that, but to sell a product at nearly double the cost of what the manufacturer sells it for is beyond ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and shop around before you make a purchase in-store.
