Poor quality, drastically overpriced. I love the idea of going and digging through piles of antiques to find cool peices to add to our home. You can spend so much time looking though all the stuff here. The problem is that alot of stuff is broken or poorly taken care of in the shop. Plus it is drastically over priced. The old metal Tonka trucks were marked at $65 and covered in rust. I have seen them at the Brass Armadillo in better condition for $25! The plants in the greenhouse all seemed to be either yellow from overwattered or brown from being too dry. Again marked way to pricy. Some plants you could easily get for $1-$2 anywhere else marked at $5. I will not be going back and strongly urge others not to waste their time.

I just found this hidden greenhouse when I was driving around Ames. Let me just say, it may have its own charm of being junky. It had some very unique plants but they were also extremely overpriced! It is obvious that the plants are not that well groomed and organized. There were dead plants and leaves all over the place. I think this place has great potential if they were to bring down the prices and completely organize the greenhouse and clean up the plants.

I had great experience with Ames Greenhouse. I ordered online and the sympathy arrangement I ordered showed up when it was scheduled to and the recipients loved it. While it did not look entirely like the picture online, they put together a beautiful arrangement and added more "high end" flowers than I expected.

I have order flowers from Ames greenhouse for over a year. They are always beautiful and delivered on time. I highly recommend just letting the florist make the arrangement, I have never been disappointed

just couldnt believe all the stuff they have and so friendly! prices vary according to condition.Upstairs in the attic is a huge amount of furniture and outside is full of that yard art stuff wow !

The delivery time was fantastic, but the bouquet could have been bought at wal-mart for a sixth of the price. I almost felt embarased when I saw a picture of the arrangement my mother received.
