I will never shop at this store again!!!! I refuse to spend money with any business that fails to provide customer service. Speaking with the manager on duty Tom L. was useless because he is just as dumb as the cashiers. Are you kidding me Tom you dont know the operational procedures of your stores registers????!!! Then maybe your DM should rethink leaving you in charge with your incompetence! I am asthmatic and have been suffering greatly from the change of weather on nebulizer breathing treatments four times a day. Nevertheless my son wanted a cookout for his 13th birthday and I was determined to make it happen although my clutch is out on my personal vehicle. As a solution I sent the 13yr old as well as his 14yr old brother to purchase cake, ice cream, and other items needed to make this party happen. When time to check out the cashier is not allowing him to use my debit card as credit for only that cashier knows why. I attempted to speak with the cashier via phone but he refused to speak with me. I then called the store but everyone is clueless. Totally frustrated at this point I ask for the DMs information. Toms response was well Mame just to let you know we ask for ID with all cards. BS! I shop Giant regularly 3-4 times a week and has NEVER been asked for ID. If you are intolerant of this type of ordeal then I suggest avoiding this location like the plague!!!! I gave them one star only because I could not publish without posting a rating, In my opinion they deserve a negative star!

Worst customer service and last time Ill spend a dime there again.i dont know where to start from..maybe the latest? My last time spending my money there? So I go there on my 30 minutes lunch break to get some turkey breast from the deli.After waiting for like 5 minutes a woman show up holding bags of fried chicken and told me shell be with me in a second...I let her know Im in a hurry...Then I had to wait for another 15 minutes , I guess she was putting the prices on the bags? She was taking her time and working slow so I just left...customer service means customers come first..you leave whatever youre doing and take care of customers and then bag the chickens...theyre not going anywhere...

I moved here to Gaithersburg and this is the closest supermarket to me. I love everything about here. The ppl are nice and welcoming but I will say this- AVOID THAT PHARMACY AT ALL COST. Id rather go all the way to any other pharmacy in Germantown, Gaithersburg or Rockville then deal with the headache from this Giant pharmacy thats 5 minutes away! As soon as they get better people at that pharmacy, I will give a better rating. Until then, a 2 out of 5 is the best I can do. They are a dark cloud hanging over that store.

I often shop at this Giant and usually find the experience to be positive. One specific item, however, sometimes is there, and sometimes, not. So, I decided to call before heading to the store today. At this moment Ive been on hold for 28 minutes - and thats after being hung up on. My husband has driven to the store - about 3 miles away - and purchased the said item. Id say that the customer service area could use a bit of modification.

Its great because its convenient. But they have a limited selection of goods. I strongly believe that old folks are requesting certain products that have long shelf time. Also couponers snatch the shelves dry on the weekends so dont come here thinking your going to buy your favorite snack during business hours because it will be gone. Management is slow to restock but you cant expect perfection.

Horrible store. So many items out of stock on a regular basis. At least half of the meat purchases made there absolutely STINK when you open them. Staff is blatantly unfriendly. It is a shame there are not many options, because I would NEVER shop there if there were. I came from Florida, Publix supermarkets are the best. Giant doesnt even come close. Harris Teeter should buy them out.

Ive been going to this Flower Hill Giant for the last 20 years. Overall, its pretty average. Its generally always crowded. If it wasnt for the fact that I live close, I probably would never visit. Ive never had a problem with anything food-related, but their pharmacy was a headache to deal with on several occasions. Bring buckets of patience with you if you use their pharmacy!

I love my Giant. Yes prices are high but the customer service is wonderful. The cashiers are very polite and cordial. The floor guys are very helpful; they will carry heavy items to your vehicle expecting nothing in return. The produce aisles are loaded with fresh, beautifully led our produce. Thank you Giant. Please make your groceries affordable and everyone wins.

On the few occasions I have encountered the front-desk customer service staff at Giant Flower Hill, they have been rude and uninterested. The management at Giant Flower Hill hold their front-desk customer service staff to a low standard when it comes to providing respectful service to their customers.

Ive lived here and used this Giant forever. It gets a rating of good. I dont use the pharmacy. I will tell you to use the Safeway down the street off Goshen if youre looking to get like a cake or special bakery goods. A tiny bit cheaper and omg good

Very friendly there and it is a clean place. They also have a Redbox and PNC bank there, so they have a few different things going on in there. Also, the floral lady there is nice and does a good job.
