The store manager Rob Icuff is undoubtedly the most arrogant individual I have ever spoke with. I have been a shopper in the store for years, the other late afternoon I stopped in for a few things. I needed a little help, and I saw a man who looked like he worked there. He was spending his time speaking personal things to another employee. That went on for about five minutes as I waited. When he finally finished he was only about 10 feet from the door that leads to the back of the store, and he was headed there fast. I just kindly said, yo dude can you help me. Wow. He turned around and got in my face so fast you wouldnt believe it, with a very raised voice he screamed at me and said you can call me Sir or Sir I need your help. I then said to him, Your Majesty I want to talk to him about their doughnuts and most of the time their lack of them. He explained that if they had more that would be too many, and since they have less they always have complaints. I asked him about the packaged doughnuts. He said, you really dont want them, they are frozen when we get them, and we defrost them before we put them on the shelf. Unbelievably he even went so far to tell me that if I wanted to get good doughnuts to go across the street to shoppers grocery store, and that their doughnuts were outstanding. Because of this I stopped shopping and went and checked out, this was going to be my last time in the store. I tried to speak to someone in management by the name of Adrian with nothing from her but an argument. Then stepped in the manager of the moment, you see Rob just left. Steve, the one with a beard and a bow tie made things go from bad to the worst. He called me a liar several times, when I said to him that the manager was very arrogant, he devoutly reprimanded me telling me not to call anybody names. He tried me out of his store. I wanted to return the merchandise that I had paid for before I would leave, Adrian the third person in charge took care of that, or at least tried. While she was doing that Steve, the Manager at the Moment saying nasty things to me over and over again, this went on for minutes until finally Adrian told him to shut off and cut it out. She saw that Steve was doing nothing but escalating the problem, he did finally stop and she did give me my credit back. If that dont take the cake, Steve, the manager at the moment had the unmitigated audacity to call me back late in the afternoon on Christmas eve, to upset me yet again. One thing that he did do in that call was to take full fault at everything he did and said that was wrong, he mustve said that he was wrong 10 times and apologize even more. For him to make things better, he offered at the stores expense to give me a $25 store card for all the problems he caused me. Seems odd that the store was going to pay for his mistake, that should he came out of his pocket. I refused his offer, and I explained to him that I was not going to step foot back in his store again for any reason or any offer from him. It seems like giant food store shouldve left somebody much more experienced and with a lot more intelligence in charge when the boss was away. I called the store today to speak to the real general manager, and as no surprise he will not be back on duty in till Thursday. I wonder how many more customers Steve and Adrian will lose before he gets back, and then again how many he will lose with his attitude after he does get back. Customer service at the company level could care less, they told me someone would get back to me, I am still waiting.

The human being (and I use that term loosely) complaining about the managers is plain wrong. People make mistakes. Decorating your story only makes it worse. At least they offered an apology and offered to make it right. There are 3 sides to every story. I have only had great experiences at this store. Sometimes they dont carry a product I like, but I go and get it at another store without a peep. No need to make a mountain over a mole hill.

Customer service on the phone was disinterested and I got the impression that my call was an annoyance. I was told to hold before I finished asking my question and waited for 14.5 minutes before I hung up. I called back only to be told "you hung up before I could get to you". CSRs are supposed to be helpful and friendly, not drive away business.

Nothing special about this grocery store. No olive bar and exceptionally rude pharmacy staff. Westminster has no good grocery stores!!!!
