I reside in SW Atlanta, so prior to this location opening I used the Douglasville location for my glasses/contact services. So, now that this location had opened and was more convenient to my home, I decided to give them my business. To my dismay, this had to be one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had. I called early in the week, to make sure they accepted my insurance-which they did and was going come as a walk-in, I was told with a walk-in the estimated time would be a 2hr wait or longer, and I was instructed to take an appointment: which I did. I arrive on my appointment date on time which was 1:30, and did NOT leave until after closing time which was roughly 5:15pm (on a Sunday). While I patiently waited, I watched walk-in and appointed clients come and go, before either associate addressed me. There were only 2 associates working the floor, which was one of the problems I noticed initially. After a tiresome length of waiting, I addressed an associate, and asked her what was my estimated time to checkout and speak with someone about my glasses/frames. She responded by asking me: "Have you been seen by the doctor?" Sadly, I had seen the doctor almost an hour or so before. At this point, I was beyond irritated and very disappointment with the service and wait time. There was no priority or system in place for appointed clients. Apparently, my folder was just sitting out of place on the receptionist desk, and I had to notify the associate. The only pros were: Both the pre-screen associate and doctor exam was relatively quick. The cons were: Bad customer service, and awful wait time. My suggestions would be to hire and/or have more associates on busy days. **This review would have been a "1 star", the only reason Im giving them a 2: is because the associate that checkout me out gave me a free hard-case and also Lens Cleaner.**

Service staff unprofessional, they have a no refund policy so you stuck with glasses that are defected . Their staff highly screwed up the vision prescription. How can you properly measure a person eye to glasses ratio when your eyelashes look like a mini broom. I came in one day while they were training employees for other stores OMG. 1 They dont call to inform you when your gkasses, are ready . 2. When I went back for an adjustment I was question as if I had done something wrong . 3.Next visit #3 now they put the wrong prescription in my glasses and tell me they have to reorder the lens it has now been 3 weeks and im.still waiting on the lens .... Based on this location alone I would never walk into another Visionwork nor would I refer anyone ..I will tell anyone that will listen Camp Creek Vision work does not deserve your insurance company payment and most definitely dont waste your money . ""RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM VISIONWORK. "" THEY SUCK ON ALL LEVELS. I wish I could take away my one star rating . They need better customer service training and definitely need to dress in a business causal or business professional. Dont fall prey of Visionwork.

Had a great experience with Dr. Aker. She did a very thorough eye exam and was very personable. Answered all my questions and really took time to explain things to me. And the pre-screen lady (the one with the short natural hair.. Forgot her name) was also great. Very personable, works fast, and she really knows her stuff. Didnt like the sales associate (light skinned with long twists) disposition. And she was slow and had me waiting on line for almost 20 mins. Ridiculous. Minus one star for that. That aside, Ill be back on account of Dr. Aker and the pre-screen associate. Reduced from 5 to 4 to 3 to 2 stars as time passed...the wait after I got my prescription was ridiculous. Checkout was like an hour bc these pl only had one person on the sales flor. My apt was for 4:30 pm.I ended up leaving that place at 7:47pm.Ridiculous.

I like to support my community businesses. Unfortunately Ive found that at this location, I can no longer. I ordered and paid for contact lenses 2 weeks ago. I came in to pick them up. No one greeted or acknowledged my presence. After being ignored for 30 min, I inquired about me being here just to pick up my lenses. The ONLY person in the building who was helping someone else told me he would get to me as soon as he could. 20 min later he asked what my name was. I told him. He said he would find them. 15 min later he asked what my name was again. Finally he went to the back to get my contacts, which took all of 30 seconds. After a long days work, I can honestly say customer service at this location does not exist. Unbelievable. Im done dealing with the hood.

Is there a way to give negative stars? Um, where do I start. I scheduled an exam that was never scheduled by the staff. I forgave that and rescheduled for today but I get to my 1pm appt today 15 mins early, and rude, unprofessional staff are there as the forefront of this establishment. Business 101 = Not Good! On top of being early, 1pm rolls around and the doctor is nowhere to be found. No complaining though, Google to the rescue. Looked up the nearest VisionWorks which was at Cumberland and guess what Im in here, NOW, being serviced as I type with no problem. Also, staff laughed as I was leaving as if something was funny. Get it together VisionWorks at CampCreek.

My exam was thorough, the staff was friendly and my waits were short for the most part. The gentleman at the front desk even tried to accommodate my work schedule;as far as my glasses were concerned; by having my glasses ready the same day as my exam. However, when I did go back to pick them up they were not ready yet. But the lady that cut my lenses was very nice and even told me they were scratched and made sure I knew I could come back whenever I wanted to have the lenses done over free of charge. Everyone was professional and polite, and seem to have a great team working environment. Thank you!!

My overall experience was great. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because of the wait time (which was only about 20 mins) even though I had an appointment, so I would reccomend arriving early. Mink, the associate who helped me was very pleasant and even saved me a few dollars on my glasses since my insurance hardly covered anything. Ill be returning for my contact lens exam. :)

I called and spoke to the manager, Brandon K. He told me to come by the store. I bought a pair of glasses in Maryland and am visiting my hometown (Atlanta). I promptly arrived. He took great care of my eyeglasses issue. Quickly and efficiently! Ask for him because I am not sure if the assistant who initially greeted me could have provided the same knowledge and service.
