Horrible experience. I guess you get what you pay for.... Wanted a cheap bed for our 3 yr old. So we purchased a $350 full size New York trundle from the rockyhill location.we went to go pick it up and sat around about 45 minutes only to be told they didnt have it in stock when they told us previously they did. So they asked us if we would like to pick it up in the south Windsor location,so we went there and the rocky hill store knew we had a Nissan sentry and they said it would fit but we get to the rockyhill store and there was no way it could be loaded in my car. So we went back the next day with a friends truck and picked up and I had to obviously give him gas and this caused me obviously to do an awful lot of running around and time. So we go to assemble the bed, there was no instructions,so we had to figure it out ourselves and then realized the legs were missing, so we called the store and explained they never got back to us till the next day and I once again went out my way to pick up the legs, so then I go to install the legs and to find out screws are missing, so at this very moment were waiting for the screws to be delivered. Ill never go here again. Ever.

People dont be fool by this store youll be disappointed at the end false advertising then they sell you something different (upgrade) the furniture is crap the costumer service is even worse they train their sales man what to say if the sales man didnt make the sale they pretend to let you talk to the (manager) which he is only another sales man they call this routine t/o tossed over at the end of the day theyll try to lock you in a layaway with the minimum $5.00 then the next couple of weeks theyll call you forcing you to pick up your items with some lam excuse oh the same day delivery they are people that work for your delivery charge not employees and that little fraze they use telling you theres only one item but left trying to force you to buy dont be fool they will sell you even a floor model or returned item sad to say its true i can almost guarantee you this is the same furniture store that was in hartford on 90 Murphy rd.(nation wide wherehouse) same commercial with the fast talking voice

I went in April to purchase a mattress and box spring. The sales guy suggested one of their most popular mattresses and i tried it out and liked it. I purchased the mattress brought it home. The beginning of September my box spring just broke apart! I never had a problem with a box spring in my life, no matter how much i paid for one. I thought i had purchased something with quality. I went to the store to tell them my situation and was told to send pictures through email. I sent them and waited for someone to get back to me but nobody ever did. I waited a week or so and went back and a different person told me to do the same thing so I did. Still til this day i havent heard from anyone and the box spring that i was supposed to exchange has be taken away by maintenance of my building. I feel like i have been scammed and not purchasing from here again. As much as i paid for the mattress set i shouldnt have had that problem. Hopefully everyone else have a better experience than I did

I was very excited going in to this place but unfortunately I learned that is best to deal with a more prominent furniture store. One, after you paid for your furniture come to find out days later they dont have it in stock. Now after asking for my money back they said only store credit; so Im force to get something I dont want due to them not checking first if they had it in stock. Second, the day of delivery they tell me that my dining room table will not be deliver because they dont have it in stock. Why wait till the day of delivery to tell me this?... This is very irresponsible and disappointing after all my excitement. It is an inconvenience. Finally they deliver and never informed me that they dont assemble. So after struggling assembling the bedroom set, Ive noticed a crack in the bottom of the dresser. So you already know the frustration. Now on a more positive note, the love seat and sofa is very nice and this is why Im giving a two star.

I was very disappointed with American Freight in Rocky Hill, I paid my layaway off in full and later that day I realize that my son will not be able to grow into the Bunk bed. Once he was about 10 or 12 we would need to replace the bed and spending so much for such a short time I just could not afford to stick with the purchase, so before picking up the layaway I ask for a Full refund and was told the sale was final. So of all the stores I shopped at I never felt I could not return something if I wasnt satisfy especially a big ticket Item. So my rating for this place of business is 0% and I would not recommend them and they need to get out of Connecticut.

I am so ECSTATIC to have came across American Freight in Wethersfield, CT!!! Angel was exceptional and he delivered high quality customer service to my husband and I. It was his knowledge of the business and inventory that really sealed the deal! Not only did we leave out with a sofa and loveseat, but we also received accessories for a phenomenal price. You cant beat their service or prices anywhere around town!!!!! We will definitely be spreading the word about American Freight and will be back soon to obtain more furniture for our home! Excellent...Excellent....Excellent!!!!!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!! I WILL GO ALL LENGTH TO GET WHAT I PAID FOR. I WILL FILE A BBB COMPLAINT ON THIS COMPANY. OVER AND OVER IF I HAVE TO , TO GET WHAT I NEED.THEY DID NOT EXPLAIN THAT THE DELIVERY IS NON REFUNDABLE EVEN IF THEY NEED TO TAKE THE ITEM BACK. ALL EVERYONE THERE IS WORRIED ABOUT IS MAKING A SALE. NOT ONCE WAS I ASKED IF THIS WAS GOING TO HOUSE / APT. THEY SPENT MORE TIME WORRIED ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY I HAD INSTEAD OF WHAT I NEEDED. PRICES ARENT EVEN THAT GOOD. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE ! GO SOME WHERE ELSE .

Their sales rep Angel is mouthfull of lies and misell you, what he does at his best. Pathetic company. Dont trust sales rep, they lie and mis-sell. And dont opt for delivery its a rip off from better delivery company their partner for delivery. $99 just to leave stuff outside your door. Delivery guys are very rude to ladies in your house. They break stuff in your house while delivery and than ran off with stuff outside your house or pay another $99 for redelivery by them only.

They advertise lower prices compared to the competitors, but when you do the final math with delivery charge, they do not set up anything for you, it adds up to the same as Jordans furniture or Bobs furniture. Same price as the competition but the competition offers longer warranties and they deliver and set up. The furniture here looks like plywood glued together, very cheap products for the same price as higher quality product
