I would be very weary and look at all the fine print with all dealerships --- especially this one. They claim a lifetime "warranty" -- definitely investigate that and dont trust the pink cloud. Veronica claimed that they price cut all other deals -- but they would not even discuss the low numbers once the manager took over. This appears like bait and switch. Mike her manager told me "why do you want to know the MSRP and the Invoice numbers which have nothing to do with Lease deals" (OF COURSE THEY DO!!) ALWAYS ASK FOR THE INVOICE AND MSRP NUMBERS AND CHECK WITH THE KELLY BLUE BOOK AS YOU GO. IN REACTION TO MY SERIOUS QUESTIONS, MIKE AND MANAGEMENT BEGAN TO ATTACK ME PERSONALLY, ALTHOUGH I WAS COMPLETELY RESPECTFUL AND JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT IS THE CONSUMERS RIGHT TO KNOW -- IN FACT IT WOULD BE NEGLIGENT NOT TO ASK, WHEN PURCHASING OR LEASING OR FINANCING YOUR CAR. -- I wonder --- if they would do this to a man. OR a Police Officer?! To recap: My suggestions: A. Ask for numbers, dont give the lowest numbers that you already have gotten, yet --even if they tell you that they can undercut. Keep your cards to yourself. B. Ask for the MSRP and The Invoice (while looking at the Kelley Blue Book) C. If they tell you the Kelly Blue does not give correct numbers - (ITs probably one of the few sources which actually do give more accurate numbers) --investigate other reliable sources which do not inflate the numbers. They should all correspond to what the dealer is telling you. The dealership is not supposed to change this number or lead you to believe that the car you want + add-ons is the same as the car you want without add-ons) Make sure your speaking about the same make and model and package with or without add-ons. Its better to do the numbers without the add-ons but with the options -- find out from the kbb the exact numbers or your options. (You may not want accessories like molding -- but you might want Eyesight protections) Begin with the grounded Kelly Blue Book numbers --- not some dealers, inflated numbers. D. Do not give phone contact information before they give you numbers which correspond to the KBB to make sure you are on the same page -- E. And do not allow them to bully you and attack you or provoke you --- maintain your cool. But let them know that you know some things. F. When the dealership goes off base -- write a review, or a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Consumer Affairs -- & Google Reviews --- TAKE THE TIME. E. And give them a chance to amend their bad behavior --- maybe a communication glitch or a bad day made them more predatory then usual --- maybe sales are off --- (WHICH THEY ARE ACCORDING TO SOME INDUSTRY BUSINESS SOURCES). DONT ALLOW THEM TO BE disrespectful of your intelligence and efforts in a difficult profit motivated and questionable (perhaps "rigged") system! GOOD LUCK! - CONSUMERS HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER TO BRING PRICES DOWN AND EDUCATE EACH OTHER. THIS WILL GROW THE TRUST IN OUR NATION AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT! - It can be mutually beneficial for workers / mid level management who earns a living in this way as well. Working class hero is something to be! -

If I could give zero stars I would. From sales to service Rye disappointed at every turn. We purchased a certified pre-owned 2014 Outback in August from Neil Downing. From the moment we picked up the car we should have known that we were scammed. On arrival they notified use that the car was in the shop getting a belt fixed that they noticed at the last minute. When we inspected the car we realized they didnt even bother to detail the car (which was promised when we put the deposit down two weeks before). I wish the problems stopped at the detailing but right out of the gate we had issues with the alignment as well as the brake indicator light. We brought it back...again...and they promised they fixed everything. At this point we were beginning to think something was up so we took it to another Subaru dealership for a full inspection. Unsurprisingly they found that the tires failed inspection, the brakes were almost failing inspection, and a service bulletin to replace a belt had not been followed. We called Rye Subaru and were placed in the hands of Angelo. Thats where things went from bad to worse. He immediately had an attitude and when I asked for the 152 pre-owned inspection report, which is supposed to be available at anytime, he promised he would get it...only to call back later and say their service department lost it. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. We are still dealing with Subaru Corporate to get our issues resolved and our car in proper working order and it has been 2 months since we purchased the car. You would think that after all of these issues they would at least have good customer service...NOPE. The only person working there that has any idea of how to treat a customer is Jamie...she is amazing.

Tom G at Rye Subaru helped my wife and I pick out the nicest charcoal gray Subaru Impreza hatchback. The car is great, we love it so much. Standard all-wheel drive, bluetooth, and a lot more. The car is smooth, well-built and has great fuel economy. All the staff at this dealership were great but specifically Tom G was exceptional. He helped walk us through from undecided window browsers to confident buyers in a day. He answered all of our questions, explained features, benefits, pricing, options etc... to us and got us a great deal on a Impreza Sport Premium model. Rye Subaru itself has a GREAT lot of new and certified pre-owned cars, better than any other. Our car came off the lot with under 10 miles, fresh and new. Tom and Rye Subaru have continued to offer us support after our purchase and I am confident they will continue to throughout the our ownership. I have been and will continue to recommend Rye Subaru to my friends and family. Our experience there was a far cry from the BS we had dealt with at other dealers in the area. Rye Subaru has gained a life-long customer because of their outstanding professionalism and support.

My car buying experience at Rye Subaru was something I wont ever forget. My sales agent (Annie) gave me confidence that I was going to get the car I desired with absolute certainty. She conveyed all the necessary info I needed to know and walked my through my first car buying experience like a caring mother would. Although halfway through the deal I feared I wouldnt get to drive home my brand new 2016 Subaru Crosstrek, due to limited credit history and insufficient funds upfront for the initial down payment, my sales person found good fortune when I was able to produce just a little more to meet the dealers bargain. Now Im a very happy and proud Subaru owner, but it wouldnt be the case if Annie and her folks at Rye Subaru werent tenacious enough to secure my loan approval through the bank at a reasonable interest rate. Its been nearly a week now and Im still excited about owning such a quality piece of art. Picked up my car with a full tank and Im still at 3/4 tank. I made the right choice from start to finish and Im glad!

Most people consider buying or leasing a car challenging and an unpleasant task. My experience at Kingery Rye Subaru has been nothing like that but excellent. From the time I walked in I met with the manager and staff that have been friendly, pleasant and competent. They helped me with a selection of my car providing detailed description of all available and the best options within my budget. They were informative, professional and the most important not pushy or persuasive but knowledgeable and helpful. They all work together as a team in a timely manner so all the necessary paper work was processed fast without long wait time. The service was above and beyond to make sure that the client was satisfied. My car leasing experience was gratifying. At the time of my new car pick up I received specific introduction and instructions by a qualified staff. Driving a Subaru Legacy 2015 is a smooth adventure. Leasing it at Kingery Rye Subarye pleasure. Combining these two you have one extremely satisfied customer.
