Could have been better. We ordered 6 dining room chairs in mid-February, only to have them delayed and delayed and delayed, until finally arriving in mid-May. The delays had more to do with the vendor than Havertys itself, and our salesperson attempted to accommodate us - listening to our frustrations along the way. Perhaps Havertys needs to re-evaluate their vendor choices, as the chairs were "made in China", not "special order" and only an average quality. We are patient people, sought not to blame or fuss since the attempts to make the situation right were occurring. We could take the delays with a good attitude - truly a "first world" problem as compared to other worldly issues. Despite all the delays, the chairs match wonderfully with our dining room and we are happy with the result. Not sure if we will rapidly return to Havertys; but we are glad all was able to work out in the end.

I love the couch I bought here. Great quality and super comfy so you get what you pay for. The young salesperson was around the same age as me so I had a great experience looking around as she showed me exactly what I was looking for. After I purchased the couch, they had a promotion for free delivery. After calling them, they gave the promotion to me and refunded the delivery charge. Their online delivery system that tells you where the truck is is super helpful too! Only downside is that everything is shipped from Atlanta so it takes awhile to get here. Only bad thing about my experience was who I assume was her manager when I was giving payment. He pestered me about not putting down the $100 to get the couch protected even after repeatedly told him I know how to treat and clean it myself. Seriously?
Purchased a sectional and a huge chair that totaled around 4000.00. We thought we were receiving solid furniture that would last but sadly it lasted less then 2 years and the fabric started to fall apart. The pillows we ordered had no reinforcement to keep the feathers in so the fallout was excessive. I ended up spending 125.00 plus shipping to get new ones that had a polyester fill (so I no longer had feathers all over my living room) only to have them fall apart 2 months later. Just cheap furniture and a waste of money.
Never again! Ordered furniture June 20th. Finally received the final pieces September 6th (was only informed of back-orders when checking in on the status of our order). Three different pieces were defective and required additional delivery/return scheduling (last item is scheduled to be delivered in another month!). Loved our dining room set we got from them about 5 years ago but the experience this time around has us looking elsewhere as we furnish the rest of our house.
Nice selection of contemporary furniture. A few more modern styles, but nothing really classically traditional (no reproduction pieces). Prices were reasonable, and we were informed much of the furniture is available in stock. Of course you can always order custom coverings as well. Cooper was our salesman and most pleasant and extremely helpful. No high pressure salesmanship which allowed us to look around the store at our leisure. We will be back!

Ive had some pretty bad experiences over the past couple of months with other furniture stores and happen to stumble upon Havertys. The sales folk were very friendly and gave me honest opinions about the various items. I definitely recommend and will continue to buy from them.
We bought a leather couch, ottoman and some other furniture 4 years ago and everything has held up great. Specially the couch and ottomam, since we have two dogs who jump up and down of it, and they havent ripped. The salesperson was great and everything arrived on time.
i purchased 2 Sofas and a Dining set , I havent receive them yet, But the sales team at Rockville , MD location is awesome , And i am happy to deal with them especially Nana !. Great location , Professional ppl. Go there and ask for NANA :)

The customer service is wonderful, Ed was very helpful but not in your face and pushy. The delivery is so fast, we had our furniture within a week - compared to lazyboy who took a month! I went back for my living room furniture!
I did buy some furniture few months ago. Didnt match with other stuff that I had in my home. They were so wonderful and let me to exchange them to something else. Excellent customer service. Thank you Havertys
The worst furniture I have ever purchased. I bought a couch, chairs and ottoman. The furniture is falling apart in under three years. Please do not buy.
This is the best furniture store in the area. It has an excellent choice of furniture and very reasonable and modest prices.
Customer service was helpful and doesnt bug you like some of the other places. PS, there is more parking behind the store.
Good place to buy quality solid wood furniture. Periodic sales around holidays.
