Had a very bad experience on their customer service and shipping delivery service. The sales person told my wife and me that they would arrange a delivery in 3 weeks, and she insisted that they would do their best to get my order done on time. I paid 5K to them right away for my bedroom sets and living room sectional sofa sets and waited for our merchandises to be delivered to us. 3 weeks later, we called the store to ask about the status of our order, the store clerk said they didnt have everything in stock and they would not separate the order and make two deliveries. I complained about the words of the sales person who guaranteed three weeks delivery, but the clerk told me I should go and read the invoice, which stated the delivery time is 2-6 weeks, and they didnt want to admit that the words were from their sales person. Well, I waited till the 6th week approaching to its end, I called store again and left the message to the store manager about my delivery. No answer. At last I went back to the store and talked to the manager in person. I got the answer that they still didnt have every thing in stock, and they would have to split the order and make two deliveries. When they did the first delivery, the movers refused to take off their shoes and they also refused to put on shoe covers, leaving a big mess in my house in such a raining and muddy day. Furthermore, Ashley manager lied to me because the items he claimed were on back order actually delivered, but the items which were supposed to be delivered had to be shipped at second attempt. I called Ashley and the manager apologized and said he would make it up for me and make me happy because they missed the delivery deadline, unfortunately, I never got a phone call from him or his employees again and it has been two months. In conclusion, I will never go back and buy furniture from Ashley again, at least this store.

We purchased a mattress for pick up at the warehouse in Baltimore, MD on 03/15/2017. The next day, a rep from the store called to confirm order had been placed. Told the rep, we may stop at the store and pay delivery charge of $20 for store pick-up. Well today is 04/01/2017, the mattress is ready for pick up at warehouse. Not one damn rep called to inform or even follow-up. We call the store for a resolution. They tell us the rep at the store who handled the transaction, gave us instructions for the warehouse. No the hell she did not, she was busy replying to personal text messages on her cellphone throughout the transaction. No resolution. They said they already gave us a discount. What discount? There was a sale going on. So if we cancel, we lose the $23 dollars of tax that we paid on a $390 purchase. Were willing to cancel and lose that $23 so the independently owned store in Gaithersburg, MD can pay their employees for not doing their damn job! Worst service ever. Go to the Frederick, MD store or any other store than this one!

AVOID THIS STORE! If you want damaged furniture, and a very sneaky manager who is no help when there is an issue..go ahead and shop here. This has been a NIGHTMARE! Marvin initially helped me, but he & manager Rohin failed to explain A LOT regarding the warranty policy. They were nice at first but they were just desperate to make a sale, they even told me sales were down. My brand new, EXPENSIVE couch, has been DAMAGED since I got it. The manager, Rohin is extremely unprofessional and is not willing to help. He doesnt care if you are an unhappy customer, once you place your order, you mean nothing to these people. Also after you make your purchase they beg you leave a good review for them on Google...what does that say about this place? They are so awful that they have to ask for good reviews? Stay far away from Ashley Furniture...and ever farther from the Gaithersburg location!!!

When furniture delivered, they have already scratches, it look like used one. So I called them and talked about it. Although they will give me a call back, but I did not respond at all. Finally, I called them again and told me about repair and fix..., I am so upset, because we did not touch anything on them. Anyway, I regret we bought some furniture in this company. I DO NOT recommend this company and location. Be careful to all of you. !! We bought it Memorial day, but still waiting for a person who come to see our dresser (8 days passed). So poor services!! Do not waist time in this location ever never. UPDATED : even though I sent an email which they suggested below, they never returned back to me with email or more. So terrible.

We went in looking for a reclining sofa. The sales man said they would honor the online price which was $800 less than the store price. A great deal! We came back a couple days later and almost bought the couch. The sales lady said in order to get the online price we had to get the "optional" extended warranty which was an exta $100, which they did not say initially. Then when we input our zip code into the website to show them the price we wanted the price jumped up $300!! The sales lady went back to the manager repeatedly and he would not honor the initial price we saw online, the deal, however, got worse and worse. After haggling we left. Thank goodness we didnt fall fot their bait and switch

I just got home from Ashleys and was pleasantly surprised by the great service I received. Roderick was awesome - he was extremely knowledgable of the living room sets, knew my style , and made sure that I got what I needed, without going over my budget. Even when the store started getting crowded, he remembered to come back to me and see how I was doing. Thanks to him (as well as the sales manager, Rohin, who was a delight!) I walked out with a great living room sectional, and an end table, well within my budget. I will definitely come back to Ashleys for the rest of my furniture! Thank you Roderick and Rohin!

So in order to write this review I wanted to try the Ashley furniture in Frederick MD to see who got the best salesperson and the store manager.. let me tell you I had a horrible experience with Frederick MD store.. they are the worst.. So heres my experience with the Ashley furniture store in Gaithersburg MD. They are is and was the best experience ever. Our salesperson Rodrick and the store manager was very nice, very friendly and prompt in answering any of our questions. And they went out of their way to help us to get our furnitures delivered on the date we want. You will never be disappointed.

Stop by the store last week and Marvin helped us, he showed us what we were looking for and guaranteed to give us the same deals we we returned to the store. We returned today and Marvin showed us more stuff we liked and had still promised us our deal. He had to leave but turned us over to Roderick, he ensured got us what we wanted for an exceptionally price. A 5pc Townsen table with chairs and a 3pc table set. They stayed 35min pass closing time to finish up order process and the items are scheduled to be delivered a week out. We defiantly will be coming back!!!! Ask for Roderick or Marvin!!!
