I was looking to buy a new 2017 FZ09 i shopped around on the internet and saw that Mountain motorsports had the best price listed at $800 less than msrp. So I went in to purchase the bike. Sales staff and everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. Told them about the online price and they were happy to honor that. But once I started to look at the breakdown of the price, they throw in sooooo many extras. First of all, for freight alone they wanted $1000 plus set up which was another $400. There goes that $800 off of MSRP. My girlfriend bought a 2015 R3 from Gainesville Motorsports and they charged 600 for freight, shipping, and setup. It shouldnt cost $800 dollars more to ship and setup an FZ09. Secondly, they charge $1400 for Yamahas extended warranty. Whether you buy extended warranties or not is up to you but just know that you can purchase these same warranties for you bike other places for almost half the cost. Third, they charge about $1200 for a Shark Find It Now (FIN) which is an anti-theft GPS. Something they literally just hook to your battery and it takes 10 minutes. There are several aftermarket options that work just as well for a quarter of the price. They do offer and extended service plan which covers your first 4 maintenances and that will run you around $1300. I guess this is a decent deal if you ride your bike a lot but if you dont I would not suggest it because you wont meet the mile requirement by the end of the service contract. This is a big chain and everything is VASTLY over priced. If you dont believe me go online and check forums for the bike you want and see what people are paying. I guarantee it will be far less than at mountain motorsports. All in all with all the extras the out the door price for that 2017 FZ09 was around $14000! My advice is to skip on all the extras except maybe the service plan. Everything else is just a ripoff.

After purchasing many bikes, "working" up to a big tourer w/ cruise control, I looked to add a dual sport, better to explore hiking & primitive camping areas I enjoy in north GA. Although the XT250 was much less expensive than my tourer, I expected professional treatment, which I didnt get from a dealer close to me. I decided to try Mountain Motorsports at the Georgia Mall & gosh am I happy about that! DJ & Jeff greeted me, took ownership of the experience in their incredibly beautiful, giant new facility. They had an amazing stock & variety of motorcycles, made introductions in other departments & even had a beautiful pool table to play while waiting for financing & such. Ordering extras in the parts department, I couldnt ask for nicer or more helpful service from Nick, Andrew & Justin. The questions I had about accessory installation & about the bike break-in period were answered terrifically & detailed as I wanted, from the service dept. I met so many nice people during my visit, including mgrs Nick & Josh who all helped make things great. Picked up the Yamaha yesterday (great deal) with hand guards perfectly installed (looked up on youtube...is complicated messy, ugly installation) & the skid plate ordered was going to put on myself but they had already done it for me & all looked great. Pleased w/ everything. Now if stops raining Ill ride the bike!

Terrible experience. I took my Honda rancher to the location in mid October for a diagnostic. Once I arrived the front desk attendants were helpful. I received a call about a week later explaining my Rancher was completed. It needed a new fuel pump, and the fuel injector needed cleaned. There are several problems with this. First: They couldnt tell me the pressure in the line, they just said the pump needed replaced. No big deal but they want to repair it for 400$ which I declined and said I would do myself. Second: My fuel injector was brand new and I replaced it just prior to taking it to mountain motor sports so there was no reason it needed cleaning since it had not been used. When I picked up my Rancher it was in pieces and the screws were in a plastic bag. The side fenders were not placed back. Furthermore, I had to load the Rancher into the back of my truck at first by myself but luckily two other customers helped out. I spent $130 for a diagnostic only to have them find nothing new, tell me a new part needed to be cleaned, and my Rancher was in pieces. I will not be returning to this location for anything else as I have received poor customer service and false information about the fuel injector. I also knew about the fuel pump prior to being the rancher in.

This place ROCKS with a capital "R". I newly purchased my 2004 Honda 750 Aero from a charity organization and brought her in for a once over. Chris, Adam, Judy, and EVERY single person I spoke with were absolutely amazing. Being a New rider, I did not feel me being a Novice mattered to them and they were extremely gracious about answering all of my questions and getting me on my way with my bike in tip top condition. Another example of their extreme customer service is that when I picked up my bike and rode about 1 mile down the road I had unfortunately ran over a construction nail and was stuck(safely thankfully) on the side of the road. This had nothing to do with their service. This was just a fluke thing that happens. I called LHY to see if they had any suggestions and they sent their van with trailer to get me. Brought me back to the shop and fixed my tube and had me back on my way again. They didnt charge extra for picking me up and just offered it as a fantastic gesture. I am thrilled with my experience at LHY and hope you have the opportunity to work with these guys in the near future. Looking forward to lots of riding time with my Honda 750 Shadow. Thanks LHY!!!!

I just bought a new bike from MML and the experience was the best Ive had at any dealer ship. Josh was my sales person, he was friendly, fun and very willing to be helpful. He had the information I needed but was never pushy or over bearing. I have been riding all my life and that is a lot of years and many bikes in several states, so this wasnt my first rodeo. I aways take my time when I make a large purchase because Ive learned from experience that putting out that much money I dont want buyers remorse when I get home and josh was willing to give me that time without calling or texting every twenty minutes like most sales people. I would be remiss not to mention Chuck in fienace he did a great job getting me into this bike for a price I felt good with. I feel that I got a very good deal and that Im very happy with it, they made some money, but they didnt make it all off me. This is a great place to do business and I have no problem telling anyone that if you are looking for a new bike or just getting yours serviced this is where you should go. You will not regret it. Jon
