Happy Customer wanting to set the record straight! Reading these negative reviews that are attacking this establishment were so bothersome I felt I had to respond. I’ve had my scooters and motorcycle serviced there since December 2005 and I have never had any problems with service, pricing or staff. As to the individuals that are complaining about the prices of the merchandise you might want to actually look around town. I always price items before I buy and find they are extremely competitive. Now onto the individuals that are upset with the service of their bikes. Let’s be perfectly honest you probably bought a Chinese scooter (Bad Move) or a resale from someone without the service records and probably outside the warranty if it ever had one. These online Chinese scooter specials are cheap to buy. Ever wonder why? Well it’s because parts are hard to come by and there is no support/techs to provide assistance for these scooters. Also, since you like to write negative reviews you might want to read some before you buy next time every group/organization that deals with scooters have written about the horrors of owning these Chinese specials. All About Scooters has at least taken the time and effort to learn about these products and are willing to hunt down the parts and get them back on the road for their customers.

A great place to go for scooter purchases and service. The owners are real nice, helpful, and they know a lot about the scooter business. When I was first looking for a scooter they were helpful when it came to deciding what to buy. When I bought the scooter (a Kymco Grand Vista 250, which I love) they had it ready for me to pick up fast. When I needed them to service it, they worked very quickly and there were no problems. The pricing is fair. In fact other places would have to call them to provide the parts for my scooter (since they are the only Kymco distributors in Tally) which would drive the cost up for me. I have read bad reviews and I dont know what they are smoking. I feel Susan is very respectful. She has always treated me with respect. She never came across as the "god of scooters". She knows the business, that is her job. I wouldnt go to her store if she didnt. And for those who think they are over priced I hope you dont have a chinese scooter. Chinese scooters are cheap to purchase but the parts are hard to get and take longer to ship, so it cost more to deal with. And if you go in there with an additude I dont have any sympathy for you. I recommend All About Scooters to anyone interested in getting a scooter or need their scooter repaired.

The absolute worst experience for scooter repair. My son took his scooter in because it wouldnt start. The person who helped him said it could be multiple things that could cause it not to start or stay running. Thats understood, my son asked for them to evaluate the issue and give him a written estimate for the repair. They said the evaluation fee is $45. After a couple of days my son calls back and they tell him its the clutch and it will be $150 to replace. 1. There is no way a centrifugal clutch is causing it not to start 2. $150??? Are you kidding me? A new stock clutch is $25, so they wanted to charge $125 for labor??? WTF is that? So my son calls them back and says no, Ill pick up the scooter and pay the evaluation fee of $47 dollars. Then they say they already have labor into it and had assumed that the repairs would be done and wanted more money. Nobody authorized the repairs only to give a written estimate. When he arrives to pick it up, its in pieces!!! They wont even put it back together from them tearing it apart! These guys are rip off artists and try to dupe college kids into spending too much money. Dont take your scooter here for repairs. They are ripping off young people.

Do not go here. You better off finding a friend to fix it. My scooter was only one year old if that. Worked fine i took it to get serviced on many occasions because it my only means of transportation. I ask for a full service. I take the scooter from them and i didnt even drive it but one time and it broke down. I had to pay them to pick it up. All of a sudden there was a bad noise that it was making. So the first thing the do is ask if you want to buy one of there scooters. come on now. My situation is sticky but i know four other people that have taken there scooters here and got the same result. I dont doubt that they fix them, i just think that they take advantage of people who dont know much about scooters. They are nice people but i believe that they took advantage of me. Someone who went out of my way to choose their services to take care of my only transportation at the time.

Purchased a Genuine Roughhouse 50 scooter from the gentleman at All About Scooters, and had an amazing experience. They were very helpful throughout the entire shopping process, and set me up with my dream vehicle. When I began to have engine issues resulting from missing regular oil changes, they helped explain how to avoid such issues in the future and made prompt repairs. They were extremely patient when I needed time to collect funds to pay for their work, and kept great communication the entire time. I trust their judgments to the fullest extent, and will continue to do business with them in the future. They truly have their customers best interests in mind (unlike other scooter places in Tallahassee that Ive done business with in the past). Would reccomend 10/10 times, especially for those incoming freshman looking to improve their mobility without breaking the bank.

On Saturday Apr 27, 2013 my scooter broke down outside of Tallahassee. I called and spoke with Collin at 10:30 and Roy came to pick my bike (and me) by 11:00. Originally, the drive belt was found to be broken, which is what Collin suspected was the cause of the problems. He gave me a ballpark estimate of about $130 (with the tow.) Once the case was open they found the belt was broken; they found the clutch and roller bearings were worn as well. In each case they showed me the defective part--their service department was completely transparent as was the service bay. The total cost was $231. I believe this cost was completely reasonable for the parts and labor involved. I was stuck without a ride, but I wasnt taken advantage of. My bike was fixed within an hour and a half. This shop is reputable and fair and I recommend them highly.

Ive dealt with them multiple times for the past year after buying a piece of junk from Orion Motorsports. Theyve always fixed my bike on the spot. Most recently the owner went to bat for me when my break pads, which I bought from her, wore out after only about a month and a half of wear. She called the manufacturer and got me a credit which basically got me free break pads. Since I put the pads on myself this was not her responsibility and she could have easily told me to buy new pads or kick rocks, but obviously she values her customers business. I will be dealing with them from now on if I ever need any service done to my bike. Though they are a scooter store their mechanics are fully able to work on motorcycles as well. Its hard to find a good bike mechanic in Tallahassee, but I would highly recommend them.
