We ordered a sofa from VCF dixie highway on Jan 10. It was set to come the following Saturday. Come 5:00 we hadnt heard anything from them so we chose to call the store. They "tried to call" our number to tell us our couch hadnt arrived on the truck and we would not have our sofa until the next Saturday. Next week comes & we decide to call ahead on the Friday the day before we are supposed to get our sofa. The woman answered and was very polite, stating our sofa had arrived at the facility and we would be getting it the next day between 12-3 pm. 3 pm rolls around on Saturday, still no call from the company stating our couch was on its way. We again call the store to see what happened. They, again, "Tried to call" on Friday (mind you we just called Friday) to say a delivery guy couldnt make it in to deliver our sofa and we would have to have it delivered Sunday. We never received one phone call in this whole two week span. They said our couch was in the facility if we wanted to come pick it up ourselves, which we ended up doing. The first week we called, we did receive our delivery fee back, but we ended up having to go get the couch our selves, so that was a waste. Also, every time we tried to call they always seemed to have the wrong number saved, and never changed it, even though we called multiple times and it was given to them each time. Something is just not right here, and we will not be buying from them again or referring anyone. Just one big hassle!

I went to the value city furniture in louisville ky on dixie hwy three weeks ago and ordered a living room set and a bunk bed paid 2200 for it and i was told we wiil contact u when the products arrives. Ten days later we get voice mail and text messages informing us the products had arrived so we go there to pick our furniture just to find out only half of our furniture was there and we have to wait a month to get the rest after we have received calls after calls and texts after texts which i have saved to be honest. So we get the manager to see if our next option will get better just to find out if we dont take half of our furniture he will sell it to the next person who is interested after we have paid for it. I called the 1800 no to see if anything can b done just got the run around. So please i advocates that no one do business with value city. Its the simple things that could have been avoided if they really cares about the customer that would had made a big difference they failed to recognize. Henoc phili is a dissatisfied customer value city so is many like me.

After all my trouble from value city the Dixie store was the nicest and most helpful. Lynn, Charlotte Simmons, and the delivery guys AJ and Jo were very professional, apologetic, and have made my bad experience better. But the Preston hwy store is awful! I went in to cancel my new order cause I found cheaper furniture elsewhere and Martha McGhee (my saleswomen at Preston and she did my reselect) wasnt very nice during my reselect but when I went in to cancel it she stood at the other end of the counter, hearing everything I was saying, she looked right at me and said nothing...not one word! Preston in unprofessional and rude. I am still having trouble with my furniture today, and it has been 2 years. I received my chairs with my table set with the screws falling out of the chairs LITERALLY as they were pulling them off the truck. Then, stupid me, I purchased a 5000.00 bedroom suite, and it is still having issues. Just today, the side board broke. I refuse to call VCF because times before when I called, they sent out replacements that were also damaged. My husband will fix it, and I know, it will last the rest of our lives! No appologies or anything from the company. Crap...that is all they sell...CRAP!!! Spend alittle more money at Ashley furniture..I promise, it will be 1000 times better quality than VCF!

As soon as I walked in one of the woman ran up said hi and asked what was I looking for. I told her that I was just browsing then she proceeded to start asking what I was looking for and I once again told her just browsing. Clearly I wanted to look around and not be bombarded by questions. While looking around for 0:20 minutes she made her way towards me acting like she was fixing some furnishing around. I was very irritated by this and wanted to be left alone to look around. I left immediately. How about a simple hi my name is and if I can help you. It goses a long way.

I ordered an entertainment system as well as a sectional, I needed this furniture asap. My sale lady told me they would deliver it the following Tuesday, this was a Saturday that I bought the furniture. My furniture came Tuesday, they delivered the entertainment system but no sectional. They told me my sectional wouldnt be in for another three weeks. Pissed isnt the word. These people think they can screw over the customers. It is not OK!!!

The phone number listed is to a Fax Machine and not for the office service. 1) You pay for furniture and you cant even pick it up right away. You arent told this up front. 2) They offer no discounts to military or volunteer service organizations. 3) No free delivery when you pay for item and not in stock. 4) Service is below standard for as they say a low cost furniture provider. 5) Do not offer price matching of any kind.

I have already told 20 people today not to deal with value city. I will spend the extra 1k on great furniture from somewhere else...I hate this store and I hate that they dont have the decency to call and let people know when their deliver people will not be able to make it...I have a job too I have a life too I hate this store

Horrible if I could give them no stars trust me I would. Ive waited and waited for a phone call from the "manager" couldnt even get that. Its just terrible so much of a hassle I have to go through to even get my furniture. Worst part about it is that I paid 6$68 for shipping and I cant even get my stuff on time.

Had an awesome experience. Furniture was delivered, assembled quickly, and they called around 30-45 minutes before they showed up so we could get home in time. "Ronnie the mover" was a great person to deal with. He is a very efficient and friendly individual who made the whole experience that much better. Thank you.

Ive been waiting for my dedroom set for a month.. And they call me very early in the morning saying that it got a lot of damage when it was being loaded on to the truck.. Im livid at the moment knowing that Im only going to get part of my bedroom set.
