Didnt buy the car there, so my review is totally on service. It began when my car asked me for maintenance, though I recently bought it in carmax. Long story short, carmax said they would perform the maintenance for 80 dollars but week and a half later. I couldnt wait to get rid of annoying light so called to the closest dealership. I read all the reviews and 3.6 was quite disappointing, plus someone whos name was Kevin seemed like a complete bastard based on those reviews. I thought : chances are I wont catch Kevin. How wrong I was =). He told me that based on my mileage i have to do smh else except oil change according to manufacturers manual. I had problems with carmax service before ( they substituted cheap hyundai oil filter with even a cheaper one, that brought a lot of problems on my old car), so I decided that couple dollars wouldnt make a difference, more than that they were ready to accept my car the same day. I so I met Kevin... being prepared for a disgusting service I braced myself and.... People! what a hell is wrong with you? If you have personal issues, just dont wright reviews! The awesomest guy! I didnt ask him for ANYTHING, while he went to my car, checked vin, found an old service contract on my car from previous owners, sent them the bill, so i payed NOTHING! More than that he told me when to come back to abuse that coverage to the full. Lets be realistic, he could just ignore me or that information and charge me full for the service. Service itself. They fixed everything that was wrong, no arguments. But what they did then surprised me. when they took the car to the service, they thought they heard that the engine worked weirdly. So they actually found out the issue and changed the rubber mountings. It became less noisy, but I wasnt noticing it until I was pointed out. That undoubtedly shows the level of service. P.s. as a reminder - I didnt pay for anything. Hope they will continue in the same direction. My only guy to call when smh is wrong with the car is Kevin!
The reason my next car will also be a Volvo can be narrowed down to two words, George Sanchez. They say people are inspired to give a review of something when the service or product falls under two extremes, either negative or positive. In my case, its the latter. I bought a C70 after relocating back to South Florida from NY and never previously owned a Volvo or considered one. My two previous cars were German (BMW and Audi) and although I knew Volvo had a strong reputation for safety, in all honesty it was never on my radar of cars to own. I can probably go into detail on the research and process that finally led me to the decision to buy a Volvo, but the more important point that I want to make is that despite that Volvo can go head to head when it comes to engineering and luxury with some of the previous brands mentioned, nowadays it really comes down to service. That being said, my experience at the Volvo dealership is always a pleasant one. Granted, the fact that I own a used car does mean that I will occasionally get a bill for something that falls outside the extended warranty, but George takes what most people would compare to a visit to the dentist, and makes sure you walk out satisfied and confident that your car is back to its reliable self. So in the world of infinite car options, thats the reason my next car will also be a Volvo.
This location is worth the drive, and I live 10 minutes away from a VW Service Center here in Hialeah. Sadly the Hialeah/Miami Lakes area employees always try to add on extra stuff and make believe that my car needs it. Anyway, thats a different review, and thats why I started coming to Deel VW on Bird RD. Its been three years now that Ive been coming here for maintenance work on my car. Its always a pleasant experience and I always book with ROBERT FRANK. He is a splendid guy and always does such an excellent job. He cares about his work, and I rate him a ten on excellent services. Robert is very attentive and does the work right. Im triumphal to have found him, and this encourages me to continue to be a part of Volkswagen. Also, I dont know the names of maintenance guys who always work on the car, but I have to give them credit too. I usually wait in the waiting room have coffee and watch tv while my car gets service work done, and I get to observe the employees who come in and out, and they are all very friendly and kind. Im sure all the other agents treat their customers great which is very rewarding for me but Im stuck with Robert now, and this is why I enjoy coming to Deel Volkswagen. Thank you guys at Deel Volkswagen for always giving your 100% even at the early morning hours. I will continue to come here and recommend others as well.
This was my second time I serviced my wifes car here and I dont think I am coming back. First of all, they dont have offices where you can sit and speak with your service attendant. You are standing in the parking area and it gets extremely hot in there in the summer. I also recently had to do a large service on the vehicle and was priced really high numbers. I got another quote from a competitor and Deel Volvo called me back and said they would match the price so I decided to have them service it since they already had my vehicle. I still spent over $1,500 this visit so I decide to present a $100 coupon that they themselves emailed me. They did not accept the coupon saying that they already discounted the job enough and couldnt do it. First of all, they just matched the price from somewhere else so they didnt do anything special. Nowhere did it say in the emailed coupon that I couldnt use it if they discounted the price on the job. It just said if you spend over $900 you could use the $100 coupon. Andy was nice but he didnt even offer to bring in his manager to speak with me about it. Ive been a Lexus owner myself for many years and the quality of the service at this Volvo dealership is nowhere near my Lexus dealership. Not a good experience, not coming back.
Poor phone customer service. None one answer their phones after the front desk transfer-me three time a sale man Andy answer the phone he stated that "we are closing in 30 min" and give me their schedule. My friend warned me they have bad service in the sale department but good in the service department. If the dealer wants to sell a car they should welcome them at any time that they are open. I think they dont care about customer service and selling cars. They lost my wife and myself as customer!. I will continue to buying my cars in Delray. They know about customer service and work with the customers. Update I call 7-28-2016 the service department to update the maps and after 30 min trying to get some one in the phone, they put me in hold for 10 min. be-aware that service only opens Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm (no Saturday) and you have to make an appointment. I called Volvo of north Miami, no problem they answer the phone wright away and they are open Saturday.
