!!! READ BEFORE YOU WARRANTY WITH THEM!!! I purchased from this place 1 year ago today, sept 12, 2015. The biggest mistake i did was trusting this dealer and not thoroughly checking my contract, i purchased a $20,000 audi a4 2013, which is a great deal. I explained to Marc Scafani ( the person that you sign all the paper work with) that i wanted to keep the monthly payments as low as possible so i was going to give a big down payment. I gave $7,000 down and assured him i would be back with $5,000 in a few days. So thats a $12,000 deposit which i had been saving for a long time and worked extremely hard for. Thinking i was only going to finance $8,000 plus whatever taxes and fees for the car. He mentioned a extra $14 dollars a months would get me a extended warranty that covered everything and encouraged me that it would be foolish not to buy this protection because the cars repairs are very expensive. Ok, one year later i am due for my first service, i take it to the audi dealer and my warranty does not cover maintenence which is fine, after talking with the dealer it turns out this warranty was way over priced and didnt cover much. They explained to me that i got ripped off and that i was not the only off lease victim that has walked in. Turns out Marc applied a $4,800 extended warranty and a $1,000 armor coverage for paint and interior, total price with tax was over $6,000! ADDED TO MY FINANCE!!! Worst thing is im still under factory warranty (STILL TODAY) but that garbage he sold me was effective immediately. So i paid one year of extended warranty while i was still under factory warranty!! DOUBLE WARRANTY!!?? Shame on Marc for intentionality ripping me off after my big down payment and me explaining that i wanted to pay this off as fast as possible. Instead of me financing $8,000 i ended up financing $14,700 plus incurring a $5,300 additional cost for the financing at the end of my loan (the more you borrow the more you owe).. I could have just bought a newer car! My hard earned down payment money was worthless and my plans of paying this car off fast almost impossible !! What a CROOK!!!! I AM SURE HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING I EXPLAINED VERY CLEAR WHAT I WAS TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH. PLEASE BE AWARE! most of the 1 star reviews are for this reason. Other than that the dealer was very good and low priced vehicle. TOO BAD THEY ARE DISHONEST IN THE EXTENDED WARRANTY SALES, probably because thats were they get there commission from. This 48 month extended warranty by the time im out of my factory Warranty would be more like 25 months worth of coverage ! $1000 armor package is worthless and non refundable and my refund for canceling the warranty will only be about $3,000. I lost thousands of dollars just so this guy can make a good commission Dont make the same mistake i did. I went back to off lease and the manager was very nice and extremely helpful, still there was nothing he could do, its on the contract. If it wasnt for Marcs dishonest dealings i would have gave this place 5 stars

Since Off Lease Only advertises themselves as a “no haggle, no dealer fees” dealership, I went into this purchase with my guard down thinking that this would be a simple transaction. My mistake. Their finance department utilizes some of the sleaziest techniques I have ever seen while buying a car. Their sales contract does not separate the price of the car and sales tax. It is only shown as the price of the car including sales tax. So you don’t expect any hidden fees to be in there. They added $638 to my contract and disguised it as sales tax. After waiting about 8 hours outside with no A/C to get into the finance department to finalize my purchase I was exhausted and just wanted to sign and go home. I didn’t discover the $638 until the next day when I was looking over the contract. I sent an email to the finance manager thinking that this was a mistake. After several emails to the finance manager and the general manager over a period of a few months the finance manager finally sent a vague response saying that the $638 was for something called “Auto Armor”. He said that this was a supplemental warranty that covers the interior upholstery and what not. Since there was no mention of Auto Armor when I was in the finance department and no mention of it on my sales contract, and since I never agreed to purchase anything called “Auto Armor” and it was hidden in the sales contract without my knowledge I requested in writing to the finance manager and general manager that this money be refunded to me. To this day I have not received a response nor have I received any kind of paperwork for the $3,500 extended warranty that I purchased. I was told by the finance manager that the warranty card and documentation would be mailed to me. I called the warranty company and they said that it is the dealerships responsibility to provide all warranty documentation. Again after repeated emails to the finance manager and general manager I still have no warranty paperwork. The vehicle that we purchased was for my daughter who had a non-existent credit history. The finance manager used this as an excuse to fluff the interest rate. All dealerships do this; it is a common and legal practice for them to receive kick backs from lenders, but off lease only takes this to a new extreme working only with shady lenders who allow them to fluff interest rates 2 to 3 times the buy rate. My Advice, if you are going to buy a car here, obtain your own financing before you go to the dealership. Get out your calculator and double check every line of the contract before signing. Have them give you a temporary tag and register the vehicle yourself, they typically charge about 5 times what it actually costs to register the vehicle. Make sure all issues are resolved before you leave the dealership. Once the sale is complete, these people don’t care about you. Also, don’t bother waiting for a post purchase survey to express your grievances. This company doesn’t bother to follow up on customer satisfaction.

I dont write reviews - but my experience in buying a car makes me want to give credit to the team at Off Lease Only, so I will take the time. And part of this actually is enforced by the negative impact of dealing with dishonest dealers in the greater Miami area.... which only highlights what a great job they do here. I have had 2 full weeks to buy a car so I have taken my time in shopping around and getting a true feel for dealers. Yes, most of them have dealer fees ranging from $500 (as one quoted - "this is very low") up to $1000. And then some that "dont" have any dealer fees, but you will end up paying this at the checkout counter in an ambiguous hidden fee, or percentage in the financing, or a "certification" fee. I was honestly shocked at some of the tactics used by dealerships. And could write for days about just a few of them. At Off Lease Only - I was never pressured. I was never forced in any one direction to buy a specific car. The freedom of choice was mine as the price on the window, or online, was the price paid. (plus local tax and tags and county fee of course) Nothing else. No upsells. No surprise costs. No extra 20% at the checkout. No games with the financing. They have so many cars to look at and they are changing everyday. Get online and get there early to find the best deals. They have a great system where you can research any car in the lot with Carfax on their many computers, and check its history and make your own judgement. The sales people are there to assist you in buying a car and help in the process - but not there to force you to hand over your money for something youre unsure about. Trust me - I went back 5 times before making my choice, because my choices were endless as I tried to narrow down my top 5. I can tell you that Willy Bofill helped me endlessly, day after day, and actually assisted me to research which cars had the best history and suited my budget. No stress, no drama, just pure service. He was the reason I went back every day - because he made the buying experience stress free. Trust is very rare to find in this industry Danielle Bjorkgren helped me extensively too on the day of my purchase, weighing out my two final choices and even locating cars that were not even on the floor yet. She made the checkout/purchase process seem like the quickest part of the whole experience. Paul Stern, the finance manager, has been on the job for over 20 years and made the final signatures and licensing easier than anything. I spent about 5 minutes tops dealing with actual numbers and paperwork in the office. So the hardest part of the whole thing, just me choosing that right car. Everything else is taken care of by the service professionals! Again, thanks to the team who helped me out, and for the endless bottles of water, hot chocolate and coffee. (and hotdogs on Saturday!) Oh, One more thing. You WILL NOT find an all inclusive price better than these prices. Trust me.
