I notice that people keep giving this dealership the same terrible reviews, and the manager keeps saying how sorry he is. Look at the dates. Nothing changes. It seems to be working for them, so they keep doing business the same sleazy way. We bought a car for our daughter here, and it was an all-around bad experience. My husband negotiated a price with them, then they tried to tack on another $1200 for "transportation." If they needed to be compensated for transporting the car, they should have rolled that cost into the price. Every time he thought there was a deal, they kept adding more costs on. Fortunately, he is patient and reads carefully, so he spotted every extra charge they kept trying to add and got them to take them off. I wasnt there for this process. If I had been, I would have walked out. I dont want to do business with people trying to cheat me. But she liked the car and could afford it, so they stayed. When we went to pick up the car, they told us to be sure to be there at 4:15pm, then kept us waiting over an hour. Why? No reason. Because they can, and they already had my daughters $1000 deposit. While there, I watched another salesman doing the same "I have to talk to my manager" routine with another couple. Guys, your manager is right over there. We can all see him. We know hes not doing anything, just stalling. This isnt a very sophisticated or original trick--you try to make people wait so long that theyre worn down, not paying attention, and ready to agree to anything to get the car and get out of there. When we finally got the paperwork for our daughters car (which should have been prepared in advance, since theyd made an appointment with us the day before), it had my name, not my daughters name on it. So we waited another 20 minutes for them to reprint the documents. That wasnt attempted fraud--just incompetence. Our salesman, Oliver, seemed to be a nice, smart, personable young man. I hope he gets a job working for honest people someday. General Manager, please dont bother responding to tell me how disappointed you are that we had a bad experience. You can see from all your reviews that people have precisely the same complaints over several years, and you keep using the same tactics. You obviously dont want to change, so spare us the apologies.

I wish I could give this dealership 0 stars. A few issues here, long story short do not purchase a vehicle here. They completely embody that slimeball car salesman persona. Take your money elsewhere. Nate was our sales person. He knowingly lied to us and deliberately mislead us with our purchase. The Dealership waited until we had signed all of the financials and sent them over to tell us that the car was not the color we purchased. They knew that we would be getting a different color the first day we had met. To make things worse, Nate actually had the nerve to give both me and my fiance attitude about the situation when we had confronted him about it. It was one of the most unprofessional things I have ever witnessed. Whatever manager stepped in was also useless. We PAID $600 to have the correct car "shipped" to the dealership but Nate knew that we were paying this freight for an entirely different car. To make matters even worse, our Temporary tags are about to expire. It has been OVER 3 WEEKS.After about 5 phone calls to the dealership, asking where our permanent plates were, we were assured that all was well and that the plates would be here shortly. Today, 6 days before the tags expire, we received a phone call (Only after we called to inquire about the plates for a 6th time), that there are now issues with our plates and the dealership needs more information. If you do purchase a car here take care of the registration yourself. Now we are scrambling to get the dealership (They actually gave us 4 hours to get them the information, in order to get the plates on time.) Its been over 3 weeks, and they gave us 4 hours to get them the information to avoid expired tags. Again, this is a service we paid the dealership for. Its very obvious that after 3 weeks, they decided to start the process of registering the car, and realized they were going to run into issues. They are also playing the blame game, and no one is taking ownership for the mistakes. I was also told that the plates would be mailed to us as we are 50 minutes away and now they are saying that they will not even do that! Take your business elsewhere. You have been warned.

Sales is absolutely terrible. I brought my Kia from Middletown and their people were great but I moved to the Nyack area so I said for travel sake lets give it a try. Friend of mine also works for Kia in Vails Gate also great. Anyhow working in law enforcement for 20 years Im used to all types of cons and schemes. Yesterday I went in to look at a Dodge Caravan listed on their site for $14,500. I tried to get them to go to $11,500 based on reputable dealership competition. When I got there I told the sales guy that his dealership advertised the car on other sites for 13,500 but the sales guy said yeah we listed it on sites for $13,500 but our website says $14,500 and thats what we go by. Automatic red flag. He said you can get it for 13,500 with a 1,000 down. No kidding giving you 1,000 will for sure reduce it by exactly that much. After trying to haggle me over and over I said Im leaving. Michael tells me come on lets make this work. After playing good guy bad guy with the sales manager he stills came back with $13,500. I told him get the finance manager here. Finance manager trys to con me saying they got the car for $13,500 and thats where they are staying. I told him why are you giving me an offer on my trade 3,000 below its KBB value. I also told him no dealer buys a car for $13,500 turns around and sells it for the same price. He probably got it for $10,000 haggling trade value on a prior customer like he did me or at an auto auction. So he makes $4,000 there. Try to offer me 3,000 less for my trade so he makes $7,000 and most likely takes my trade and resells it higher than what he offered me. Guys trying to make $10,000 off of me. Then they add in a ghost rip off "prep fee" for nearly $1100.00. Hidden costs, fraudulent advertisements, fees and the whole 9 here.

I searched online and saw a vehicle i wanted at this dealership. I went there on May 27th, and took a test drive. The vehicle was good to me. We negotiated and agreed on an amount to be financed through their bank. I put a cash deposit on the car same day. The only thing that stopped me from driving off in the car that day was because i didnt get a good rate on insurance. I left with an understanding to come back on Monday May 29th after i must have settled the insurance issue. i got auto insurance at a good rate and faxed the proof of insurance to them May 29th but i couldnt go back that day because of other activities and added to the fact that; i was coming from NJ. I put a call through to Kia of West Nyack NY to confirm they received the proof of insurance for the car i wanted, they confirmed and asked me to come back the next day May 30th and the car will be waiting for me. I went back May 30th with a mind set that i will be taking the vehicle home, only to be told that; the vehicle that i put a deposit on has been sold. Their reason was that i wasnt approved for that vehicle and wanted me to get another vehicle. You can imagine the disbelief! Why couldnt somebody call to tell me? Even when i faxed the proof of insurance to them and i called to confirm that they received it, nobody said anything to me. I asked for my deposit to be refunded, as if what they did was not enough, the manager asked me to come back the next day and pick up a check. That was when i freaked out. They tried taking me to a corner because they didnt want other prospective buyers to hear how dishonest, disrespectful and arrogant they are. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND OR RETURN TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR ANYTHING.
