Terrible and dishonest dealer. Purchased a 15 Mazda3 sGT, went to pick it up and found issues with aero package installation - rear spoiler and front lip were detaching from the body. Thought about leaving it on the lot until it was fixed but was promised in WRITING that all issues would be fixed to factory installed spec (no band-aids). Brought the car in at their next available slot a week after and received the car back with visible screws holding the front lip and additional tape holding the rear spoiler (didnt even bother to remove the old tape). On top of that, they damaged the paint (scored through clear coat and paint) installing driver side scuff plate (ironic) and broke a clip when installing the all-weather mats. To top things off, they scraped my front lip and are now denying any further service because they are claiming I caused it! Also refused to fix the rear spoiler because adding more tape was an acceptable fix and also refused to fix the damaged paint because I cant prove they did it (I pointed out the damaged paint when I picked it up the first time!). Do not waste your time with this dealer. They will lie to you and make it very difficult to get anything done (even if they have it in WRITING saying they will do so).

This place absolutely sucks. They are borderline criminals. The service department is completely incompetent. Stay away from this place at all costs. They couldnt program a wind up clock. Their incompetence is only surpassed by their arrogance. Examples of their incompetence: told me they put a new battery in the vehicle before I purchased it. Battery died within 8 months despite me returning numerous times to complain about static when using the radio (a sign of a weakened battery). Their response was to first claim it was the station (Q104.3 - strong signal in the NY area) and then claimed all Mazdas do that. Brought the vehicle in for my "courtesy" oil change. Despite having the car for an hour and half, they never checked any of the filters. At 15k miles, I had to have the cabin filter changed because it was massively clogged. Response from Palisades Mazda was that the filters arent checked until 25k miles. So what the hell were they doing with the car for an hour and a half? The "Mazda experience" is free coffee while you watch News 12 NJ for 90 minutes while these morons change the oil. Incompetent fools.

I spent some time reviewing vehicles before ultimately deciding on a Mazda. After visiting a couple of local dealerships, I left disappointed with the experience and had considered choosing another make. A shot at Costcos auto program came and went with nobody ever calling me back (after both initially submitting a request, and then answering a follow-up e-mail asking whether or not Id heard back). On the advice of a friend in Jersey, I went into Edmunds and searched inventory at Palisades Mazda, and found exactly the vehicle I wanted. After exchanging several e-mails, I got a good deal on a CX-9 and made all the arrangements prior to picking up the car. The financing and pickup went seamlessly, and I was on my way home with my new car under and hour after I got there, including a thorough walkthrough of all the vehicles features. I couldnt be more satisfied with the transaction; great thanks to Chris Kinder and John in financing for their solid service. If my next vehicle is one that Palisades sells, Ill gladly repeat my business there.

I have owned several Mazdas over the years. Love the brand, but this place makes it difficult to stay in love with the brand. I had an opposite experience as one other below. Their service center I thought was top notch. The only reason I am giving a rating of 2 stars. I brought my Mazdaspeed 3 in for several different appointments and they always did a good job. Sales on the other hand are some of the most disengaged folks I have ever dealt with. Looking for a pre owned CX-5, it was an extreme effort to get them to even show us one. The sales associate offered another car and allowed us to start it, but not once offered a test drive. We did not even get to look inside their only pre-owned CX-5 option. Abismal. This dealership does not even offer the most competitive prices, in my opinion. They offer convenience as they are close to where I live. So quality service is the only other thing that could sell me on. Disappointing to say the least.

Ive requested a quote for CX-5 from about half a dozen dealers on Mazda USA website. The first to respond was Chris Kinder from Palisades Mazda, rest follow. In the e-mail Chris had asked only essential/specific questions about car I want to purchase and the car I am trading in. Rest of respondents send me traditional car salesmans B.S. As soon as Ive provided Chris with answers to his questions, Ive received e-mail back from him with a quote. At the dealership Chris meticulously arranged test drive for both of us (my wife and myself), explaining/educating/demonstrating most standout points about the car while we were driving it. Chriss product knowledge is top notch. After the drive, we purchased exact car that was quoted to as for exact amount it was quoted. The entire process including my trade-in was completed in about five hours, and I came back home in my new CX-5. If this is not ideal car buying experience, I dont know what is?

I drove all the way from central NJ to check out this dealership and let me tell you, it was well worth the drive. My sales experience with Chris Kinder couldnt have gone smoother. He is a great, down to earth guy who is very enjoyable to work with. The entire experience was stress free and not once did I feel pressured. After Chris walked me through all of the details and we settled on a price, that was the price. There were no hidden fees to worry about. I also had a great experience with the Service Department, because I found a minor problem within a week of buying the car. Chris directed me to Robin Lobel and Jason Tuminaro who both took great care of me. They made sure the problem was completely resolved and set me up with a loaner in the meantime. Overall, my entire experience with Palisades Mazda was excellent, and I would highly recommend them. A big thank you to Chris, Jason and Robin for all their help.

Sales: I recently bought a Mazda 3. I was working with Chris Kinder. He does respond to emails. No he doesnt spam you with "we dont have Mazda 3 you are asking, but check out our Mazda 6" or "we have a great deal specifically for you - please come to our location for a drive" like 8/10 dealerships where Ive sent a specific question. He actually does answer the specific question and doesnt bother you with gazillion of f/u emails which force you to black-list him. Very professional. Price is just (check the edmunds for it). It was a real pleasure working with him.Service:that is more tough. I didnt have a problem yet (my Mazda is 6 months old) so I cant really say "oh, they are so cool, theyve changed the oil" - I mean I guess the car shouldnt fall apart in any place after 1 oil change. But they are polite, quick, give you a fare time estimate and accommodating. Area is clean, they have a free wi-fi.
