Not much to say about this one. 4/5... Its a Kroger. It hasnt been converted into the "modern" style that many Krogers have been, but it still works just fine as a grocery store. I would like if they did upgrade but it isnt a deal breaker. Linoleum tile instead of the new stuff at the upgraded Krogers, limited "luxury" displays, etc. My favorite thing about this Kroger, which I visit far too much, is the staff. I recognize their faces often and, best of all, they recognize me too. No need to show ID, no need to repeat the way you like your deli items prepared, no need to remind the pharmacist who you are, etc. They know you - and they are legitimately good folks. They have bad days too, and you can tell, but they still do their jobs and have only once caused me an issue. So yes...its a Kroger. If you live in the Midwest, you are often not reading reviews about Kroger grocery stores. Whoever may be reading this: they are comfortable, "homey" stores with a good selection and good people working there. I avoid the Meijers and Rumpkes/Biggs in the area, because they feel far too "corporate" - you are just a number to them, not a person. Kroger isnt like that, and in my nearly 30 years I have been pleased with them. You wont find much specialty foods nor anything too exotic, organic, or unique - leave that to the Jungle Jims, Whole Foods, or Trader Joes of the area - but you will find a welcoming community grocer who you can count on at the end of the day when you need to grab a few items to make dinner for the family or pick up a prescription or two to help with a nasty winter cold. Love our store, especially for earning discounted gas; but would also enjoy a Marketplace setting. Anything to help slim down the Walmart spending would be wonderful! Employees are friendly and helpful, even offering to help find items since the recent reorganization. Cashiers watch to help customers into their lanes when empty, and even ask if ice or stamps are needed. I dont like crowds, so I miss the 24hrs schedule. I havent yet researched whether they have the new online ordering service. However, Ive heard good things about it at the Lebanon store, so I will try it if possible very soon. Pharmacy techs are fast and friendly as well. Ive watched how hard they work and how busy the dept seems to be most of the time. I love the new option to receive text messages when prescriptions are ready. The call system is a great addition, but texts are the best for me. I have nothing negative to say about this store at all.

Today at krogers i went to the self check-out and recieved horrible service and was treated very rudely. I was trying to purchase a 4 pack of Rock stars for 3.99 they are out so i grabbed 4 individual ones and usually. Given the price of the 4 Pack mind you its only a dollar difference the cashier refused to let us have it at the 4 pack price she was hateful rude and wont go back to that krogers for a while

Love the people that work here. Peggy is the BEST. My kids love her too. Typically, the selection is great for what we need however for some reason you can never find organic whole milk in this place. On the rare occurrence that they do have it, I feel like I won the damn lottery because I dont have to drive to another store that night. Crazy.

This location has to have some of the nicest people to ever work at a Kroger. They always greet me with big smiles and arent afraid to drop everything to help me find something. The store itself doesnt really offer anything different than any other kroger, but its the people who make me want to return to this one

Always turn up the AC there, gets very cold, and becomes unbearable to shop. They continously change in which Isle the food is located, so it is hard to find what you are looking for. The shelves do not get restocked often, so sometimes you get to see some empty shelves...

Do not order from click-list. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! delayed my order and made excuses left me on hold for 15 minutes. Obviously do not have the staff necessary to accommodate click-list orders.

As always, never enough baggers. They had at least 7 check-outs opened, only I only saw 2 baggers. This was mid afternoon on a Sunday. Weekdays before 4:00 PM is even worse.
