I have had many readings here on and off over the years from different readers and all of them have been so caring and helpful and patient. And they are all quite good. And I had bought all kinds of beautiful angel home decor items and spiritual books from this store in the past years. But there is one reader I feel needs to be made aware of - Allorah. Check out her work schedule. 6 days a wk from 10 to 10? Wow. No wonder she was super brash and down right negative during my tiny 15 min. reading. She told me I was controlling, and cursed a few times while making her point! Another wow. She was so controlling and even angry spirited. I almost got up and left in the first 5 - 8 mins. but stayed it out to see if she ever will change gears the more I let her talk. Thats another thing, I barely got to ask questions. I think only one or two I was able to squeeze in. I thought about complaining to the store management about her but then felt it was better to just let it simply be known, publicly, to any and all visitors who go to have a reading there. Im not trying to ruin her clientele list but yet something of this nature should be brought to light for people to be aware of.

This is a pretty great place. Im definately what you may call new age. Im an intuitive/healer and an adept at magick and the occult. You will find a good selection here. MyKvetches? Some of the stuff is really overpriced.. like the packaged candles. My tip would be instead to go over to the annex- its next store and get one personalized and dressed. Sunny is a doll. Though the other one mary francis knows her stuff, I find sunny warmer , more approachable, and interested in helping you. As for the readers. there are definately a lot to choose from. Im very picky, as a reader myself , had been pretty disappinted in the past just with other readers in general, On a whim one birthday i got a reading from Britton ( then at burbank,but now here) She was great. and though i went over a year in between my first and second session, i now try to see her about once a month. She gets me, helps me stay on path, and shes real. If youre less into fortunetelling and more into spiritual growth and knowing ehat you need to know, id check her out.

Except for a reader named KellieJane - i would warn people looking for readings to be careful about the psychics here. I was hooked at some point getting readings here as they do know how to pull off with a few small info that will keep you coming back for more. The thing is, I believed a few of them - Gloria (from the Torrance branch) and few others in Sherman Oaks ( Sister Sage, Michelle etc.) - I believed them to the point I made a decision that cost me dearly, if only I can turn back the hands of time - that decision changed my life completely, unfortunately not for the better. Please - if you can, theres no need to know about the future. Enjoy your life as it comes everyday and leave the rest to God (or to the universe, if you dont believe in God). Take this readings for entertainment purposes only and do not make decisions based on them - even though it feels like your psychic is really really good. Trust me, you dont want to go through what I went through listening to their advice.

Rachel is FABULOUS! Shes super sweet and caring and just a lovely person. Her readings are very accurate, and so far what she has predicted for me has come true. She may be a little off on the timeframe of some events, but well let that slide b/c shes so great ;) She also doesnt BS around and gives it to you straight; not just telling you what you want to hear. Sometimes its even the opposite of what you want to hear, but thats how genuine she is - shes not just after your money. The trick with coming here for readings is that you need to find a reader YOU connect with. Ive had flop readings with readers here that some friends of mine have had spot-on readings with. Zenia is also very good, and one of my best friends really likes Angelina. You just have to find the right one for you.

Ive had multiple readings here over the years with various psychics. I got a reading from Nini about 3 years ago, she was right on point with what went on in the past, and just as right with what she said will happen in the future! I gave her minimal information, just my name and birthday, she did the rest on her own with tarot cards. She is excellent and super sweet! I bring my friends and family to her specifically if they are looking for a reading. I go maybe 2 to 3 times a year, and she has never failed me! This place is a proverbial coin flip, you have some great and wonderful readers here, occassionally decent employees (though all but a few rotate out like a bad sitcom), and sometimes things you cannot find anywhere else.... I worked here for about 10 months awhile back and when theyre low on things such as candles, theyll go buy them from the 99 cent store and then resell them for higher. Overall A LOT of things are cheap but overpriced... Except for the employees... The readers that have been there (or been and come back) are outstanding, and I myself still wander in whenever I am in the country to see what my future holds ;)

My favorite reader is back! Lynn Woods! I love the store, the selection and the staff. The store never seems to change which is a good thing. I have been coming to this store for years and years and I had the best reader Lynn W and then suddenly she was no longer there. I really enjoyed her. Super sweet and her accuracy is what a reader should be. She is really gifted and very down to earth. So, so glad shes back! The store is consistant with its merchandise.

Really good variety of resources for anyone interested in oddities, the occult, and esoteric topics. Has a few bellydance hip scarves as well. Lots of wonderful lightly pre-owned and new books on esoteric subjects. If you need candles, incense, stones, tarot decks, or new reading material, Id recommend visiting. Wonderful staff and a great vibe as well. Felt completely at home and welcome to browse at my own pace.
