I love this place. Yay independent bookstores! There used to be a cat here sleeping amidst the sun-streaked shelves, but no longer. I think the poor thing died :( NO! I LOVE CATS! RIP! But yes, getting back to the books. Great literary journal shelves. Nice rack of handmade fiction and poetry books. Lovely selection! Sweeneys bookshelf. Bookseller faves. Cozy. I have always love Books On The Boulevard, it was my go to spot when I worked in the city. I was always able to find a good book at a great price. Those were the days, commuting on Bart and devouring a book in a week. I was out in the city for some business and stopped by "for ole time sake" and again was please with a deal and great book. I will definitely go again when in the area.

Over the last couple of years, this book store has really improved its inventory and stock. It has gone from a decent used book store to an excellent used book store.
