I went to purchase a gift for a friend and the owner was very pleasant and was able to educate me on many wines that he sold. Suddenly, he began telling jokes about the only two black people that sat in the back of the bus during one of his tours (Rosa Parks). He continued by expressing his frustration with "Obama Care". It was very random and inappropriate - I expected to enjoy a nice atmosphere and would have paid him not to be political / racist. I had planned to go on my 2nd tour with the store in September. However, that has since changed. I wish that there were a competitor located in the Marietta Square...

I had high hopes, and this place is probably great for 80% of wine consumers out there. But, if you know much of anything about wine, the selection is pretty boring. Prices arent bad though. If I lived nearby and was able to come here often, I would probably just make some requests and shop here regularly.

They have a variety of wines and beer. Twice weekly the store hosts wine tasting events Wed 5-7 pm and Sat 2-4 pm. If you want to learn more about wine, this is the place for you. Their staff is knowledgeable without being pretentious. They also have a nice selection of food that can be served with wine.

I love this shop awesome! Simply put its a gem in the heart of Marietta square. Not sure what the dip was the owner put out to taste but it was yummy! The singer was mesmerizing and I was in love with her voice.
