Staff does not know what they are talking about at all! Bought 2 fish (Balloon Molly) and we were told they were both male. I spent over $100 on an aquarium tank and all the accessories including a heater and a filter. We have had the fish for less than a week and the smaller of the two ended up being a female, had babies. This was fine with me because I had everything I needed to make sure both the mother and the baby fish were taken care of correctly. This morning the mother fish died. I had been told specifically by the staff here that both of the fish that I got were male. They obviously didnt know what they were talking about because one of them gave birth and then died. On top of all that, I went to a pet supplies in Romeo, MI and every single item there was half the price of the items at the Lapeer store. Ridiculously Overpriced and extremely inexperienced staff. I will never shop here again!

I am Disgusted at the treatment of the pets in this store. I walked in just to purchase some Bettafix for my betas at home and walked down the aisle for fish supplies and notice that the betas there are obviously not being taken care of. All five of the males were in terrible shape, three of the males were dead, another one was so sick it just floated on the top and the last male was living in a ick infested cup. I bought the only female they had hoping to save her. I walked towards the front of the store to notice it was not only the betas that were sick ALL OF THERE FISH were sick and could not be sold. I WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN.

To begin, I was sold an algae remover for PONDS when I told them it was a 30 gal tank I was dealing with. The product killed all 15 of my fish within 4 minutes. When I went back to buy more fish (about 10), I came home to find they were infested with ich. This is NOT the first time Ive seen this stores fish with ich. One time when I was in there, I had to get an employee to let them know that their entire goldfish tank had ich. Lapeer needs a different pet store ASAP.

Im so happy with Sarah Klecker, the new groomer at Pet Supplies Plus in Lapeer. She does absolutely fabulous haircuts for my labradoodles. Ive followed her all the way from Flint because shes THAT GOOD! I highly recommend Sarah. My dogs love her and so do I!!

The staff at this location are wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and always friendly. They help me with all of my questions and needs always. You wont find a better place than here for your pets needs.

Some aisles to tight with displays in the middle. Rescues and vet stuff needs to go in back as it causes too much congestion if youre trying to get in and out. Employees pleasant most of the time.

One of the few pet supplies places that still sell animals. Ive gotten birds and a hamster, along with everything they need. Staff is very nice and helpful when needed.
