I am embarrassed to say I even walked in this place. I need to call the Humane Society - This place was disgusting. There were numerous tanks you could not even see through; some tanks were so heavily saturated in algae, Ive never seen water so green. The salt water tanks had salt build up from what looks like years of neglect. The were tarantulas stored in cups (not even a small cage!). I would have given the owner benefit of the doubt (cleaning the cages, transporting etc..) but these were definitely permanent enclosures for these animals. To top things off there were small kids laying across the main aisle of the store with their toys (owners kids??) sprawled out across the floor. This place was a mess, I am actually legitimately thinking about making a formal complaint to get this place on a watch list. No animal big or small should have the unfortunate luck to end up in this store. Im disgusted this place is so close to my home.

The best pet store in South Eastern Michigan! 9 times out of 10 you will deal with the owner directly in the store and on the phone. Prompt, knowledgeable, and honest--service here is never a problem, and the selection is awesome. Lots of exotics; reptiles, small mammals, bugs, salt water fish, coral and inverts, huge selection of freshwater rarities and plants. If its not in stock it can be ordered. Prices generally 20% or more below comparable stores in the area. Stock and selection of dry goods is adequate and has always met my needs. Overall, I am very satisfied and I refer my friends here often.

Last time I was in the store couldnt see into any of the tanks, thats how dirty they were. The owner acts as if youre disturbing him when walk in and ask questions about the tanks you cant see in. Bought one Fish from him that had ick and infected my entire tank. Lets just say wont make the same mistake again.
