February 17, 2017 Update I received a call from the owner and salesman this morning about my expierence yesterday. I was not expecting that someone would call me about this. After talking through the issues I would say that Jeff Lynch is a customer focused company. Every person and business make mistakes it is how they rectify them that sets customer focused companies apart. It was ironic that I was sitting in the parking lot of BB waiting to go in and purchase the dishwasher I found at Jeff Lynch. After I hung up with these two gentlemen, I am driving back to finish what I started yesterday. Thank you for the call back. February 16, 2017 Went in yesterday to purchase 4 appliances refrigerator, dishwasher, gas oven, counter top micro wave for a basement kitchen we are finishing. I was surprised by the lack of professionalism by one of the salesman. He was rude and was more interested in hearing himself talk then listening to my questions. As we were in the process of selecting the models for these appliances he told us he had to see another customer and left. That surprised me given we told him we needed four appliances mentioned above. We got the prices of the appliances left and researched the price and reviews. We found two of the four items cheaper at Home Depot and Best Buy. We called back to the same salesman hoping he was having a better day to inform him of a better price and again was unprofessional in his remarks. He said he would match the price. I asked why I would have to research and find a lower price when his company claimed to be the low price leader. He looked up the price I quoted and agreed it was $200 cheaper on one appliance BB VS Jeff Lynch. He said I should buy from him because service was much better. When I told him the other 2 HD and BB would say the same and did he have something to back up his claim he was very impolite. His response was his personal expierence! I didnt put any faith in that answer. I did not have a good expierence with this company salesman. In fairness, there was another we ran into while in the store who was much more personable and helpful then the original salesperson. He helped us find a price on one the item while the original salesman left us. I wouldnt believe in blind faith that this company had the lowest price. Check with their competitors. As for their service after the sale I cant speak to only that our salesman could not communicate it very effectively and was his subjective opinion and no objective evidence that his statement was honest. At least one salesman needs a lot of trainning!

Well I saw an add in the paper for a "sale" they were having on queen size serta mattress sets so I called and spoke with a guy before i made the long drive out there. I asked him about the add and mattress sets,I was told that they were plush not firm and they have different sets for the advertised price to choose from.So the next morning I made the drive out there for when they first opened expecting to get a mattress set I drove a van, which took twice the gas money, once I got there I was greeted. The sales person took us back to the mattress area and I asked him which were the ones on sale for the price in the paper,he showed us one mattress set and told us they always have that set for that price year-round and that it was the only one for the advertised price. Not only was this set nothing like the picture,it was firm, really thin, and nothing like I was told on the phone the previous day.I told him that and he said well we have these and started showing us the more expensive sets they had.Being on a budget we only took enough cash to get the one advertised in the paper. So after looking around we found one way over our budget, but because we already went through the trouble of driving there and gas we thought it would be easiest. We had decided to get that set and asked the sales person, after waiting and trying to find him,if he could accept a card over the phone from his aunt that wanted to pay the extra cost because we didnt have the money to purchase the more expensive set we ended up choosing. He told us no that he couldnt do that,so we told him to put us one on hold and we would be back to get it.After driving all the way home we decided to stop by one last store and we found a mattress set that we liked so we talked to the sales person about it and she said it was cheaper than the sign said.So we told her ok we would think about it,then she said hold on ill ask if we can take anymore off and she went and asked her manager. After a few minutes she came back and said that they could. We paid for it and went to get the van to load it up and saw the bottom of the boxspring was a little messed up so we asked for a new one and the guy said if we wanted that one he would give it to us for half of the price of a different one so we took it.Longer story short,we got an awesome mattress set for half of the price of the one at Jeff lynch.Because of all the trouble and misleading advertisement/sales person we will not be returning to Jeff lynch!

Shopping on Black Friday is not my idea of a good time and I usually avoid it like the plague. For the past several weeks I’ve been searching on line for a French door/bottom freezer refrigerator and microwave. I dragged my significant other out on Black Friday to several of the large retailers to see some of the models I found on line. There was one model in particular that seemed to be on sale for a great price almost everywhere we looked. I am one of those folks who prefer to buy local when I can, so we made our way to Jeff Lynch. As you might imagine, they were just as busy as the chain stores, but I was fortunate enough to run into Matt Craft. He was working with another customer who had requested him, but she was kind enough to invite him to talk to me while she waited. (Who says people can’t be gracious on Black Friday?) He mentioned that Jeff Lynch likes to match competitor prices whenever possible and he made a thorough search of his computer to see what he might do. Understandably he wanted to know what the measurements of my current refrigerator and microwave were, so I went on home to measure. When I got back to the store the same day, Matt was swamped with other customers. I’m not in any particular hurry for my appliances and he assured me that he would honor the deal we made even if we closed the transaction on a day other than Black Friday. Shoot to the end of the story. After texting back and forth because I had asked him for pictures of microwaves, there was what could have been a snafu when I finally got back into the store on Monday. I have to say that Matt Craft turned lemons into lemonade. You talk about a guy having your back and honoring a commitment – he’s your man. He wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support of Jeff Lynch. If you are in the market for appliances (or furniture and electronics for that matter), then by all means do a complete search of all your favorite stores. Just make sure you end up at Jeff Lynch because it will become your new favorite store.
