The only reason that I give this store 2 stars is because the salesman was so nice. Id initially given a 5-star review on my new Samsung oven, dishwasher and over-the-stove microwave, immediately after delivery, only because I loved their appearance. Mistake! These Samsung appliances are crap! The microwave regularly shuts down with an "SE" on the screen. I have to unplug it, plug it back in and reset the clock to be able to use it again. I googled this problem and found that MANY other buyers have the same exact problem. Apparently the over-the-stove doesnt like the moisture from the stove below. Hello???? This microwave was made to go over the stove! The detergent door in the dishwasher opens when its in the mood, which isnt usually. The "Samsung" lettering on the dishwasher has slid off. Yes, they are glued on and apparently the dishwasher cant take the heat and moisture, either. 2 of the 5 knobs on the range just sort of hang on their pegs. Thats not covered in the warranty, either. I purchased the 5-year warranty plan on all 3 of my appliance purchases and hhgregg doesnt honor it. You have a time-frame to call after experiencing the problem. It doesnt matter how long your warranty is for. I spent $475.00 on the warranties and am not happy at all with hhgregg or Samsung. I will never purchase from either company again and Ill never waste my money on extended warranties again. All appliances come with a manufacturers warranty. Save your money on extra protection from the store. I feel I was scammed.

Ive been a loyal customer since HH Gregg opened in the Orland Park area. I told many friends and family members about the great deals I get at HH Gregg. Until my last purchase, Im very disappointed with the customer service that they were offering. I purchased a tv that wasnt in stock so I had to wait 3 months for it. Everyday I would call and they would tell me it hasnt arrived. One day I called and they told me the tv came in so I went to pick it up. I went to customer service and the girl at customer service told me they didnt receive the tv yet. I had told her that I just called and they told me they got them in today. So the manager took over and gave me a 50 dollar deduction from my purchase. I was happy that he did that. So finally I received my tv the following month. I brought it home and my brother told me he can get me a better deal and a better brand tv for a cheaper price. I took it back 4 days after, and as I was walking in with the tv the Arab mafia was standing just staring, not even trying to help out a female. The so called unprofessional manager named Shadi looked at my recipet and said "why are you returning this?" "You cant return something you dont want!" um excuse me? This is not your business I can return whatever and whenever I want. I will be taking this to corporate! Never again I will purchase from HH Gregg in orland park!

Worst customer service experience of my life. Walked in because I needed a full appliance package. Washer,Dryer,Stove,Refrigerator,dishwasher,range vent. First I wasnt acknowledged when walking into the store the few sales people they did have were too busy standing around talking to each other. Finally someone in furniture asked if I needed any help but that was it. I walked over to appliances and asked if there was anyone that could help me. I was told nobody is around. Someone who looked like a possible manager told the girl to just find anybody. She didnt seem too interested in doing that and stated find who nobody is here. Then she proceeded to asked me how i was paying for the purchase and what financing I was using ummmm ok is it assumed everyone has to finance appliances? It was a cash deal (not that it was any of her business) eventually they tracked down someone who might have supposed to have been in appliances because he was outside possibly on break really dont know by this time I was done. I left and went to Lowes right around and purchased everything I needed. Would never recommend this store to anyone.

We recently had a great experience at hhgregg in Orland Park! We went in to pick up a grill we had received as a gift and ended up buying a brand new washer and dryer with the pre-memorial day sales and 0% financing until 2019. The salespeople were very patient with us and helped us to make a final decision. We even kept the team after closing on a Sunday and they still were very friendly and helped us out to our truck to load the grill. The washer and dryer were just delivered to our house (only 4 days later) for free and they even took our old models away for only $15. The delivery men were excellent and very friendly as well. They set the new models up exactly where I specified and were very fast and professional. Not only did we have a great experience with the hhgregg teams, but we got a great deal on the washer and dryer! The washer we chose ended up having a unit on clearance because it had been previously opened. There were no damages and it looked brand new for $139 less. Heres to hoping our new washer and dryer work as well as our purchasing experience went!

I bought a refrigerator on black Friday for a deal and picked a delivery date. I was assured that I would get a call the day before regarding delivery time. I never got a call. The morning of the scheduled delivery I called and was told I did not get a call because the refrigerator was not in stock. If I had not called I would have been waiting with no explanation. I went to the store and was told I could not get an equivalent refrigerator for the price I paid because it would be over $1000 off. In short they sold me a product and set delivery date for something they did not have and would not gone me a similar product for the price I already paid for my inconvenience

This place only has one good person that works hear Joe, and one of the worst people are Ed while he is very pushy and trys to get you to buy things you dont need or arent any better than what you want by saying its so good. Ed waits at the door every time I walk into the store and doesnt leave you alone or even walk away the whole time you are in the store even if you ask him to leave. I dread walking in their because of him I will only buy things from joe, if Ed comes to you walk away and find a manager or another employee. Ed is by far the worst employee in the whole store, if he does that every time I walk in I will most definitely bring my business elsewhere.

DONT BUY THE PREMIUM SERVICE PLAN, I BOUGHT A WASHER FROM THESE DUNCES AND THEY SEND OUT A TV REPAIRMAN TO FIX A WASHER DUH, I WAS GETTING READY TO ASK HIM TO TAKE HIS SHOES OFF BEFORE HE CAME IN THE HOUSE BUT HE HAD NO SOCKS ON.THIS SERVICEMAN HAD NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS DOING AND THEN WHEN HE LEFT HIS REPAIR TRUCK HAD LEAKED OIL ALL OVER MY DRIVE WAY. AND NOW IM STUCK WITH THIS REPAIR SERVICE CANT WAIT FOR HIS RETURN, I ALMOST AND SHOULD HAVE TOLD THIS FOOL TO GET OUT OF MY HOUSE THE SECOND I SAW HIM, WHEN HE BRINGS ME THE PARTS I HAVE A GOOD MIND TO TAKE THE PARTS THROW HIM OUT AND HAVE A REAL REP COME OUT AND FIX MY MACHINE, PEOPLE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
