My low review was specific to my circumstances. I went to the shop because I was interested in buying a Miele vacuum cleaner, they are an authorized Miele vacuum dealer, and I had a very specific question about two models. Upon arriving, it was quickly made clear that vacuum cleaners are not their primary business - they are tucked away at the back of the shop in a unassuming corner. Their selection is not too varied (approximately 4 canister models, 4 upright models, some accessories), but that matches the emphasis they place on vaccuums. I had come into the shop shortly before closing, found them to be rather busy, and after waiting a short while realized that this wasnt a good time to be bothering them with a question they might not have the answer to, so I came back a day or two later. On the revisit, a woman working at the front recognized me from the previous visit, which impressed me very much. To begin with, one of the models I was considering was priced $30 more than MSRP, $30 more than the same product cost on Grand Appliances own website. When faced with my question regarding vacuum model differences, the associate helping me was unable to find one of the models in their sales literature (which was from 2 years prior), and was unable to give me any further insight than the website provides (which I had looked up before coming over). The associate offered to contact his sales rep, but was unable to contact them. They offered to take my contact information and try the rep the following day. The following day the associate did call me, to let me know they were still unable to contact their rep. By this time I had received the answers I was looking for by going to a store that was focused on vacuum sales (which offered a fantastic experience). I dont blame Grand Appliance or their employees for my experience, it was more of a misunderstanding about what their specialization was (possibly my assumption). They did everything in their capacity to make me happy, but in the end they just didnt have what I was looking for. With that, I am averaging my 4* experience score and my 1* satisfaction score, to give them a rounded-up 3*.

Im writing this review for my elderly mother who recently bought an air conditioner from Grand Appliance on 65th and Layton. A wonderful man named Chris Wikoff took her initial call and helped her purchase the air conditioner at a very good price. Unfortunately, the unit kept cycling on and off every couple of minutes. My mother has asthma and has a hard time breathing, especially when the humidity is high so I was very concerned. She called Chris and after a required repair call (by Electrolux/frigidaire) someone was supposed to come and fix it. The repair people didnt show up so Chris came over himself to look at the air conditioner and confirmed it wasnt working properly, . He talked with his manager, dealt with Electrolux and arranged for a brand new replacement. Normally Electrolux requires 3 repair visits before replacing with a new air conditioner. Three repair visits would have been very stressful for my mother and could have resulted in a very dangerous situation with her asthma. I cant praised Chris Wikoff enough for his care, concern and prompt help with this situation. I live in CA and was very worried about my mom and her breathing issues with the high humidity and muggy air in Milwaukee. Ive never heard of an appliance salesperson making a personal visit to a customers home in order to help them resolve a problem. I told my mom to let Chris know I was going to write this review for her. Shes not computer savvy so Im just helping out. Thanks again Chris!

I purchased appliances from this store. On the delivery day they gave me a 4.5 hour window in which they could arrive for delivery. After 5 hours, I called the store inquiring where the applicances were since they hadnt been delivered and I had heard nothing from Grand. I was rudely told that theyd be there 2 hours AFTER the 4.5 hour window had ended (7:30 at night) and that they give the window of time, but that doesnt mean that theyll meet that, its just "an estimate" and that I was delivery #14 of the day. My sales person (Radek) could have cared less about the situation - Im guessing he made his commission and service obviously doesnt matter to him. He barely could squeeze out an apology for the horrible service and having to sit around waiting until the delivery arrived at 7:45pm. This is a new home and we had no appliances prior to this, and therefore, no food for dinner, etc. and had been waiting since 1pm that day. The delivery guys were tired and stressed out - obviously had a long day, and finally were done at 8:30pm. Grand needs to figure out better scheduling and what customer service is, I will NEVER buy here again.

NEVER, NEVER, USE THIS COMPANY!!!!## Originally everything seemed good Mike our sales person was helpful and seemed to have our interest in mind. We needed a stove and refrigerate. We choose them based on Mike recommendation and set up our delivery. On the day of delivering it was pouring rain, the delivery men came to the door with the refrigerator, no pads on the floor, They were carrying the frig. so I let them in. They tracked mud on my carpeted floor. I so I stopped them, the lead man said "dont worry well clean it up when were done.". I said "youll clean it now, and put down pads before you bring in the stove".It was down hill from there. They hit a shelf, and broke one of my ceramic chickens (its always the one you love), they chipped the newly painted wall by door and dented the frig. Handle. They also used a bleach base cleaner to clean up the carpet, which bleach out the rug removing the color. The stove which was sold to us as a self clean oven turns out to not be self cleaning. They totally misrepresented it, and never told us it was discontinued. NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

We bought our stove at the Brookfeild location and we were very happy with the selection and customer service. Then in November 2014 we purchased a refridgerater .it was supposed to be our Christmas present, however a month after our purchase , we still had no fridge. We called a few times to check on the statis of our order and everytime we got .... looks like your order is due in any day now. Finally after Christmas we decided to cancel the order because they still had no idea when we could expect delivery on our order. The thing I was shocked by was that when we told our sales rep we were going to cancel our order, he made no attempt to apologize for the inconvience nor did he even try to accommodate us with another fridge or make an attempt to see what he could do to better serve his customer. That just took the cake. That was very bad customer service and Grande Appliance should be ashamed to have a person like Kevin Novack representing them. The customer should always come first. Especially when they are a returning customer. Bad Bad service. ... ...

Refrigerator died on Tuesday night. With 10 mins. before the store closed, I headed to Grand Appliance (great neighborhood store!!). Sandy stayed after the store closed to help me choose the best refrigerator at the best price. And even better yet.... she was off on Wednesday and arranged for delivery of my new refrigerator for Thursday morning!!! The crew arrived at 8:30 am. Set up was 15 minutes . FYI - normal delivery schedule would have been the following Monday... Talk about great service!!! Grand Appliance in Tosa - a great neighborhood store!!!
