I love to look at, research, buy and sell motorcycles almost as much as I enjoy riding them. Last Tuesday, I went to Scoot Richmond during my lunch break to kill some time and look at the new bikes. When I walked in, I was welcomed as if I had made an appointment to go in to buy the most expensive bike in the showroom. The sales staff (Rich) was very pleasant, and never pressured me in any way. It felt as if two motorcycle enthusiasts were just having a casual conversation about the various bikes in the showroom. After watching some You Tube videos that evening about a bike I really liked, I placed a deposit on a gorgeous Moto Guzzi California Tourer the next morning. The entire transaction was very easy, they held the bike for me as I was leaving town for a conference, they encouraged a test ride when I returned, and they even helped me load the bike into my truck. This purchase was my 60th (Yes, as in "after 59th", lol!) motorcycle purchase over the last 30 years, and I can say that it was one of the easiest purchases made. Three cheers and five stars for Scoot Richmond! Very highly recommended!

I called and emailed the shop (Rachael) I needed a tire, oil change and detailing. During the information exchange over a few days Rachael went on holiday and Matt took over. He scheduled me more than a week out to allow for time to order parts. Since I live 75 minutes away, a drop off - shuttle the bike was not working for me and the shop tech suggeted I can wait while they change tire and oil. We scheduled for a Saturday...more than a week out to order tire. Come Saturday, the shop very busy, I drove because bike tire now flat and just planned to purchase the parts, tire, oil filter and O-rings. Bummer for me, no tire. It was not ordered. Ben was cool, provided the filter and rings and I left without a tire. I will order it on line, put it on the wheel and I guess go to a Harley shop for balancing. The worst was losing the time while nothing was done. The place/shop seems pretty loose and undisciplined. It will be a spell if I go back. I think Triumph could do better than this shop as a brand representative. -AD, Fluvanna County, VA.

Bought 2 brand new scooters here a few years back. Needed to have the carb cleaned on one so I called to get a price a couple weeks ago. Was promised a call back since the person that answered the phone didnt know. Never heard anything. Same situation happened the next weekend. Finally I said screw it Ill pay whatever and just trailered the bike in yesterday. I get there and unload only to be told they cant take it because they are too busy. Maybe that should be mentioned on the phone to begin with? So I get to load it back up and drive home having wasted my morning. I did see a pretty sweet Triumph while I was there waiting that Im thinking about picking up. If I do, you better believe Ill go back to Richmond for a test, then drive to the Dulles or Harrisonburg dealer to purchase. Wish I could give this CF of a dealer negative stars but Google wont let me.

Purchased my scooter at Scoot Richmond and have had two services since. The first service had a slight glitch but I couldnt have asked for more on the second one. A fairly complex problem was quickly diagnosed and I was on my way in a very reasonable time with zero cost to me. There were no suggestions for various non-warranty work like other dealer$hip$ do. Very pleasant atmosphere! Not 5 stars only because of that first glitch. I dont think that is any longer an issue though.

Went in not shopping for bikes, just to check the place out. I was impressed by the layout and inventory, but more impressed with the folks working there. There were several employees on duty, and Ill bet every darn one of them spoke to me in some form or fashion. Made me feel very welcome. If I was currently in the market for a bike, this is where I would go.

A gem of a place filled with passionate, knowledgeable, friendly people! I havent had any work done by the mechanics (I like to work on my own bikes when at all possible), but theyve always indulged me when I show up to buy a part for my latest upgrade. Ill continue to patronize this place whenever possible, and you should, too!

helpful, responsive folks in all departments. Brought my Metro.II in for service, Matt gave an estimate and when the work was done a day later the bill was very near the estimate. there was one additional problem and the team fixed it right away no additional charge. Youll be well served if you use Scoot Richmond.

came for service on my moped. fixed main problem but was EXPENSIVE. plus they ignored some problems/lied about them like telling me a loose throttle was a "safety feature." they could be good for a quick tune up I suppose, but I wouldnt see them as a great shop.

Chelsea and company are motorcyclists for motorcyclists. There service is professional, you feel at home when you walk through the door. They always show a genuine concern for their customers and their satisfaction riding a Triumph.

I stopped in yesterday to check out the Triumph Daytona 675. I was very, very impressed with the brand new showroom and the three individuals working there. If I end up buying a new bike; it will be from Triumph Richmond.

Scoot Richmond did the "roller tappet conversion" on my 2009 Moto Guzzi and did an excellent job - the bike is running better than ever. Highly recommended for complex service jobs on modern bikes!

Waited 45 mins while mechanics were in the office cracking jokes. The gentleman that came in after me was serviced first. Good work/mediocre service.
