Avoid this store! I purchased a womens sleeveless holster shirt for my wife and asked if I could return it if it did not fit her since it was the smallest they had. They said yes, we just need to give you a return receipt or gift receipt they called it. Sure enough it did not fit her so we tried returning it and was not giving my money back only store credit. Well, that very desiving coming from a company like 511 and I have not had any issues with 511 In all my years of dealing with them. I decided to call the customer service line and the said that they dont have any control over that store since they do t even own it or have control over their crappy policies and it would be best to keep buying from 511 directly since at lest they could return the money back to my credit card. So my advise to all of you is go there just to see what it looks and feels like and if you like it just by from 511 directly and not these scam artists. At least the real 511 will return your money and not pretend like these people do.

Disappointing. Im having had to lower my expectations of 5.11 product quality and this stores customer service regularly. I bought this hat at this store for a decent price. I love the head band design; its comfortable and flexible. Since its new, I wear it while out and about but not while working in the yard, etc., but and as you can see, it has discolored due to sweating. Thinking this was ridiculous, I took it back to the store just to be told it was sweat stains (NO JOKE, CPT OBVIOUS!!). If I wanted I could take it up with the manufacturer. It just reinforces the separation between 5.11 Tactical products and this store that everyone else posts about. With the exception of a couple of items, I think their products are overpriced and overhyped.

Went in the store on San Pedro looking for a knife for protection against my neighbors Pitbull, helpfull guy found the perfect knife a ZT Folder!- (Blade flips out upon taking out of pocket). So it is perfect in situations that speed in close contact is paramount. Made of High Grade/Strength Metals. Best part is I seen it online for more money (hard to find). I am very pleased with their service. Will shop here again!.

I purchased a concealment purse as a Christmas present for my mother. I tried to return it on 12/29 unused, with the tags still on and the original receipt. I was told that the owners policy is store credit only. He may have got my $108 but I will buy from this store again. I spend a lot more at 5.11 than that yearly. I am in federal law enforcement and I will tell all my fellow agents to avoid this store.

I tried ordering some clothing from 5.11 over the phone but I was told that they couldnt do it. They said it was for safety purposes for the customer since they couldnt be sure it was actually me. It is a bit of an inconvenience seeing as I live 35 minutes away from the store, but I will say that I appreciate them looking out for me and my financial security. Its nice to see someone looking out the customer.

I bought a job shirt for FD and the price was marked $67.99 they charged me $72.99 when I brought it to their attention they said their system did it and could not do anything about it. They were unwilling to honor their own pricing. Will not be shopping with them again, so shop online.
