STAY AWAY FROM JD BYRIDER! Okay, now that I have your attention, let me explain. Like myself, youre probably considering them because you have poor credit and cant get a car anyplace else. I know, it sucks, but like myself, you realize that this place will give you a chance and you hop on it. I must admit, when I went into look, I was impressed by the friendly and sincere seeming sales staff. They were upfront about what kind of operation they ran, telling you that as long as you paid them your credit would improve. On the lot, the selection is predominantly American used models with KBB values of, oh say, around $5,000. The prices are not displayed and its only until you select one and are approved that you are told the sale price is around $13,000. Read that again. The car is valued at maybe $5,000 and they are selling it for $13,000. YOU WILL PAY TRIPLE THE VALUE PLUS INTEREST! But, thats to be expected because you have poor credit. What was not expected, however, was that within 2 months of my having purchased my car, the check engine light coming on and the car stalling three different times. Because I was under warranty, I took it in, only to be told that they didnt know why the check engine light was on or why the car stalled because nothing was wrong with it. I noticed that other people were in their shop and they were telling them the same things, one couple had just purchased their car 2 days prior and it had died! Hah! Im not stupid, its obvious what Byrider does. They buy these cars at auctions, probably are aware that it has problems, so they clean it up, give it a bath and then disguise it. Once you sign the contract, they know theyve got you, so youre stuck with it. They have a bogus service center to placate you because they know they can lie and you will either go somewhere else and pay to have it fixed or else believe them. Either way, they have you locked in a contract that is impossible to get out of. So what did I do? Well, realizing that it was ludicrous for me to pay such high interest while being lied to that nothing was wrong with my car (took it to an independent mechanic who told me that there was an estimated 3,000 in repairs) I confronted them and told them that I would be giving the car back. I did my research and knew that they would sell it at an auction and sue me for the remaining balance which they are. Well, that is fine, anyway because my credit is a wreck, I am in the process of filing chapter 7 bankruptcy and they will never get another dime out of me. I promise, to those of you out there who need a car, go somewhere else, hell take the bus if you must, and save for a beater or something better. This place will take advantage of you and not think twice about it. They have even been sued by the Ohio attorney gerneral for their shady practices. Im sure they will write in response to this but I promise you what Im telling you is the truth. STAY AWAY and dont get trapped. The writing is on the wall, the internet is filled with bad reviews of them. They know you are desperate and will buy from them anyway. Oh, yeah, at the Miamisburg location, there are a bunch of wrecked and beat up cars out back waiting to be fixed up to sell to you. Dont believe me? Go look. Just be careful, one of those lemons could be yours once you sign the paperwork.

It took 6 hours for the entire process, i dont think i would of been there 6 hours but the women were running back and forth gossiping/talking amongst themselves....sitting in each others office talking....then the women kept going in financial advisors office just talking sitting and jus hanging around and i could see clearly no paperwork or computer work was being done....now tbe two salesmen kept asking why were we still sitting and why was no one helping us because we should of been done....i think it was too much talking amongdt each other and I dont think they applied themselves enough to put the customer first....i like the program and how easy it was to get a vehicle...thats awesome even tho the interest is reslly high....but that i accepted, but having me there all day because they werent making me the customer their first priority that was unacceptable.....i love my vehicle though....i was also told my payments were goin to be half what they are. Other than that they were friendly and nice...no one was rude in no way.....the cars are nice and the warranty plan i think is awesome and a great deal.....

Horrible place unreliable cars are sold here. Customer service is horrible they over charge you for faulty parts just to make a quick buck. They dont care about your cars real issues. Service department is horrible especially "Tina" who only concern is making a quick buck and is very rude and never will tell you your real issues. The car Im leasing has almost killed me and my kids due to JD buyrider service department not actually fixing the real issues only to keep you coming back. Horrible place save your life and love ones and your money and do your selves a favor dont buy from JD Buyrider its not the way to go!!!! The owner applied to my review didnt help at all their only concern is making a quick buck Im left without a car...

Ive had a few issues, they came and repo my keep after 4 days of being late due to my son being in hospital. The transmission is slipping in mornings when I start up for work. But on the positive side they did give me a chance when no one else would...and the sales team were very helpful. I just wish they would trust in people a little more and not come get a vehicle after only 4 days...and always assume the worst especially when I paid off all my down pay on time and havent done anything for them to assume I would run with vehicle. So now I have to have a GPS put on and hope they arent keeping track of me when Im up to date on payments thats kinda invasive in my opinion.

the sales side of this business was a great experience great sales associates and very friendly. The car service side is a different story. My transmission went out on a Friday night and due to them being closed weekends my car wasnt seen until Monday morning. took them 3 days to get my transimisson here we are 6 days later and Still no car. not sure how busy they are but as amazing as they make their mechanics sound it shouldnt take this long highly dissatisfied if it isnt the cheapest option I will never have them work on my car again. on top of it all its been 13 days total and my payment is due once again

They seem great when you go in and they tell you they can get you into a car for $0 down. But what they dont tell you is youre paying 3xs the price for the car plus about $6,000 in interest. Then when you have car issues while it is still under warranty they cant get you into the repair shop for 3 months because they are too busy "fixing" the cars they have coming in. Oh and when you do go in for work, the mechanics act like youre ruining their entire day because they actually have to do something. I would not recommend jd byrider to anybody, not even my worst enemy.
