BUNCH OF WEASELS I got my car towed on a Saturday on Franklin St. during the Saurkraut Festival where I was a vendor. I come from a place that only uses "No Parking" signs to denote tow zones and not yellow painted curbs like Waynesville does, so my mistake. I was ignorant to what yellow painted curbs meant. Long story short the old fat guy taking my money at Waynesville Automotive refused to take my credit card to pay for the tow. There were credit card signs on the front of his building advertising they do. He said they dont take them for towing. He told me to walk over to the B&B carryout next door and get money out of the ATM to pay for the tow. So thats what I did. I paid the ATM fee and paid this guy in cash. $245 for a tow and two days storage. (my car was there 1pm Saturday to 10am Sunday + extra charge because my emergency brake was on and my car was locked) I called Waynesville Automotive several days later and spoke with a nice woman named Cindy. She told me more than once that yes, they do take credit cards and yes, they take credit cards for towing. I am reporting them to the BBB and to Visa/Mastercard. This guy made me pay cash because I pissed him off. I was questioning why the tow was so expensive and also he kept telling me a police officer told me not to park where I did which is completely ridiculous. I parked on a residential street and not a soul spoke to me, let alone a police officer! And how would this guy know anyway? Was he there when I parked my car? Of course not. Unless the officer said that to him who called for the tow, but why would he say that if it wasnt true?

I just bought a Volvo from them. Advertised as "runs and drives great"and "looks runs and drives like new". It needs $4000 of work done to make it right. Transmission is shot. Timing Belt is shot. Needs tie rods and ball joints.. Do NOT but from them......they sell junk that they doctor to look good. NOT worth the risk....Stay Away!
