I will never patronize Steven Singer again, and I urge anyone reading this not to as well. Back in October 2010, my girlfriend and I decided to visit Steven Singer to shop for engagement rings because wed heard so many good things on the Preston and Steve show. And at first, everything started out great. We went to the store on a trip to Philly for a wedding and sat for 2 or more hours trying on rings, drinking complimentary beer and wine and generally having a great time. We narrowed the choice down to two rings, with one being the obvious favorite. The salesperson gave me her business card and all of the specs on the ring, and even let me take pictures of it so I could remember what it looked like. We went back to our home in New Mexico and after a few months, I had the money together to buy the ring. I looked at every local jewelry store here and could not find anything that looked nearly as good as the ring wed picked out for a similar price. In fact, I could only find the exact ring anywhere (even online) if I got it custom made. So, I gave them a call. They worked very well with my budget and gave me a great price on the ring. I even compared the diamonds stats to others online and found I was getting the diamond and the setting for about the price of the diamond alone anywhere else. Needless to say, I was impressed. I was given a delivery date of about two weeks away and I couldnt have been happier. Those two weeks passed without a single word from Steven Singer Jewelers. So, on what was supposed to be the day before delivery, I gave the salesperson a call and she told me that because of Chinese New Year, my order had been delayed another week or so. Not having any set date in mind for the engagement, this didnt really phase me, so I went back to waiting for a call. Again, a week goes by and I dont get a call from her, so I call once again. Im told the manufacturer of the setting has had some delays getting the ring out, but it should be at the store and ready for the diamond to be set within another week. Again, no calls. I call the following week and am told once again Im going to have to wait another week for the ring, but that they had the setting and were just working on fitting the diamond to it. I told them then that I was tired of the delays and if it happened again, I would be done with them. I just called today and the salesperson immediately put me on hold. After 5 minutes or so, a customer service manager comes on the line to "explain the situation" to me. I cut her off immediately and told her if the ring isnt ready to be shipped by the end of the day, I wanted my money back. She says "shipped to you or to us?" They hadnt even received the setting from the manufacturer yet! It has been almost a month and a half since they took almost $10,000 from me and they still dont even have the setting? Needless to say, I flipped out and told them I wanted my money back immediately and that I would never deal with them again. Its a shame really, because it was a very nice ring. So, if you dont mind dealing with liars, Steven Singer is a great jeweler to deal with, otherwise, stay far away.

Im not one to write reviews often, but the hassle we had with ordering my wedding ring from Steven Singer was among the worst weve ever experienced. This review is not to reflect negatively on the staff at this location as they were all great. (Save for their loss of our paperwork) Rather this is a poor review of the product itself and its quality control. We went into the store in February 2016 to find a mens wedding ring. I quickly found a titanium ring that I loved. They took down our info and the info on the ring as we took a few days to think about it. My fiancee went back in a couple days later to place the order only to find they had lost our paperwork. Not a big deal, well head back down when Im in town and pick it out again which we did. Order placed. Two weeks later the ring came in, and we went in to look at it, and the ring was clearly not right. The edges were not rounded like the display i had seen. They confirmed the error and order it again. This time 3 weeks go by. We went in again to pick it up. This time the ring was too big. It was one full size larger than what we had ordered. By this point we were quite frustrated and were moving out the area. They assured us next time it would be right and theyd mail it straight to us when it came in. We just got a call back from the store (2 more weeks later) claiming that the 3rd ring that came in was still not right. By this point we are a mere 2 weeks away from the wedding. Two months later after 1 loss of paperwork and 3 incorrect rings, we still dont have my wedding band. Needless to say, we finally requested a refund and found a ring elsewhere. But with so little time before the wedding we were forced to pay expedited fees. Again, we liked the staff... but Steven Singer if you are reading this... QUALITY CONTROL! The lack of it reflects negatively on your company.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Steven Singer. I cannot say anything to the buying process of my engagement ring as I was not involved, but Ive had my ring for two years now and still cant stop staring. The ring was a bit big when it was given to me, and I went back and forth on how I wanted it sized. They did complimentary resizings TWICE for me! I can walk in at any time for complimentary cleanings, and just had a complimentary re-dip for my upcoming wedding. I bought my wedding band at Steven Singer just a few months ago, and I cant say anything bad about the process. I went in multiple times to look at rings and try them on, and was never pressured at all. The jeweler I worked with was patient, grabbing different rings and settings to suit what I wanted to try on. I was even offered something a little outside of the box, and I was glad for the suggestion, its the band I wound up buying! It was ready on time with no problems. I can honestly say I was a bit leery about using Steven Singer and thought maybe the original engagement ring purchase was swayed by advertisements, but after my personal experience, I can only rave about my experiences over the past two years. I would recommend Steven Singer to anyone in a heartbeat!

I cant say ENOUGH good things about Steven Singer Jewelers! My husband and I are more than happy to travel 2+ hours to go into the store to pick out jewelry. I had a very bad custom job done to my engagement ring in another name-brand store and was extremely unhappy. When I went in to Steven Singer to see what could be repaired, they were more than happy to work with my husband and I. Although I ended up getting a completely new setting and diamond from Steven Singer (which was MY choice), I was more than pleased! Please do me a favor and ask for Brian! He is a WONDERFUL jeweler and his sense of humor keeps us coming in the store! Every time my husband and I sit down with him we are treated with above and beyond professional customer service. I feel like a family member and not a number. They take care of me through my wedding rings, valentines day, birthdays, and anniversaries. Also, they have FABULOUS contests and yes- people do win prizes! I have walked away with a couple gold dipped roses myself. This store has genuinely caring staff members that want nothing more than to make you smile with quality products!
