Horrible dealership!!! My husband and I purchased a 2013 Dodge Durango Citadel, fully loaded in Aug 2015. The vehicle is wonderful and we are very happy with it. The purchase was very rushed as the salesman wanted to go home. My husband and I purchased it together and we asked that my name go first. The papers came with his name first. We asked to have it changed. When we got the loan information from the credit union, my husbands name was the only one on the loan and it was at a different interest rate than we had signed for in the purchase contract. The salesman was aware that there was no owners manual, but we forgot to ask for it during the actual purchase. We came back the next day and was told by the salesman and his manager that it was too bad; whatever we signed for was all we were going to get. The label on the vehicle that told about all of the features includes the dealers name on the top and small print "buyer beware" notice at the bottom. The list of features includes a years subscription to Sirius. My check of the vehicle prior to purchase included ensuring that Sirius was working. During a call to Sirius to change the account to my name, I learned that I would only receive a 3-month free subscription. Went back to the dealer with both documents and was told by a manager that it looked like mis-representation to him and he would address it with his boss and get back to me. (He took copies of everything and 2 phone numbers for me). Over a week later with no responses so I went back to the dealership. Met with a different manager. He walked a few feet to a man standing in the showroom and spoke to him. (They were close enough that I could overhear the entire conversation). He repeated the statement that the man had said with the preface that "The owner" would not address it since the statement at the bottom stated that I had to address everything prior to the sale of the vehicle. It was evidently beneath the owner to walk a few feet over to me to address my concern. They are very nice to customers prior to getting your money - but absolutely no welcome mat for you after the purchase.

When I think of buying a car I always think of Maryann Higgins and Gator. My husband and I have purchased more than 5 vehicles from Gator over the years. We have never had a bad experience at your dealership in any way! Why we ever strayed I am not sure but we did go across the street which ironically is how our journey at Gator began. We had stopped to look at a specific brand and the sales guy pretty much told us we were not good enough for one. So we stopped in at aGator and left with a Sebring Convertible. And so our journey began. Maryann Higgins is professional, honest, sincere and we consider her a friend. We recommended my in-laws to shop at Gator and I believe they are on Jeep #4. My daughter and son-in-law have also purchased at Gator. Always, above and beyond. We are the strange ones who come in for an oil change and find a new car...even one Maryann was driving and the deal breaker was her Barry Manilow CD! So new car fever hit and the first call was to Maryann, she said to come see her and we would see if we could make a deal. She introduced me to Keith C. and he listened to what I wanted and only guided me to vehicles that fit my list. He did not try to bully me or talk down to me because I was a female. He was professional and honest and we found just the one a Jeep Grand Cherokee with exactly what I wanted and then some! Then it was time for Maryann magic. See even with hiccups (life happens) Maryann was able to get the deal done and we were on our way! My daughter and son in law both stated they will only shop at Gator from now on, and I promised Maryann no more straying for me. Maryann and Keith are both shining stars. Maryann I just want to say how much I appreciate your dedication, professionalism and most of all the friendship. You are the best at what you do. Because we have dealt with many Business Office Managers at other dealers (we have purchased over 30 automobiles since we have been married) I think that we can honestly say you are the expert in your field. Gator is lucky to have you and we are happy to be back in the Gator family. Renea & Paul

Do you like to waste your time? Do you like to deal with rude people? Do you like to see incompetence at its finest? If you answered Yes, Yes, and Yes, than you will love the service department at Gator Dodge. This is just another story in a long chain of negative experiences. So two weeks ago we brought my wifes charger in for an oil change (her last free one thank goodness), fix a recall item, and to fix her rear passenger window that will not roll down. We arrive 20 mins before our appointment time, end up waiting 40 minutes just to drop the dang thing off, there is 0 sense of urgency with this team. We get the call the vehicle is done at 5pm, head down to pick it up and find out they didnt have the part for the window. I mean come on its a window motor for a 2013 charger... You would think they would have stock of common issue items but alas, they do not. So two weeks later we get the call that the part came in. Make another appointment for the morning, this time we decide to drop it off the night before, again takes forever just to drop it off. Again, we get the call at 5pm that it is done, so we again fight 5pm traffic to pick it up. Wife tries the window before we leave and everything works, or so we thought. We get home to drop off my Jeep and consolidate into one car to go out to dinner, and lo and behold, the rear passenger door wont open! So while they fixed the dang window, the door wont open. What a total joke this place is, I mean how incompetent is your team that you cant fix a window motor without breaking the door mechanism... So now I get to either take it back for a third time and pray they remove their heads from their posterior or drive to a decent dealership... I think I will take the drive to somewhere I can trust to not break more than they fix.... Unless your a complete sadist, avoid this place like the plague. I should note that I have purchased 3 vehicles from Gator Dodge, and while I have no complaints on the sales team, I actually think they are pretty good, I wont be back just because of the service department has pissed me off to no end.

Gator Dodge called me to bring my Ram in for service but It wasnt due so the lady said I should have the airbag recall done. I told her I dont have time and will do it when I have it serviced. She said they have a complimentary shuttle to bring me home and come get me when its ready. Great! I dropped it off at 7:30 am and they brought me home. They called at 5:30 pm and said I could get it back the following morning. I called at 7:34 am. and a slightly rude lady took my number and said she would call me at 8. She didnt. I called at 8:16 and she seemed annoyed and started making me aware of shuttle rules no one ever told me before. She says I just must keep calling or wait until someone calls me. I needed to know that before I left my truck there and I dont like calling because it annoys her. I need to be picked up early like between 8 and 9am. or maybe between 2 and 3 this afternoon. Is there a manager at your dealership who might help in this matter? I sent the above correspondence to your website’s contact address but never received a reply. I stopped by your dealership on the way to school and spoke to the sales manager who put me in touch with the service manager. I tried to get him to schedule a time to pick me up, even a week out. He said Gator Dodge transports 60 customers a day (that’s ridiculous) and it’s a “free service.” I realized he wasn’t interested in my problem and I ran out of time to beg. I had to get to class. I found my own means the following day. I’ve never written a customer complaint letter before but this episode was absurd. I’ve bought four Dodge vehicles, four trucks and a minivan, since 2002 because of the deals and service I received at Asheville Dodge. I have relatives who have their vehicles serviced at Asheville Dodge even though they don’t own Chryslers. I assumed I would get the same respect from Gator Dodge.
