I ordered a birthday cake for my sons birthday for today. When i ordered it i specifically asked for as much frosting as they could put on it (it is his favorite part of the cake!) and even offered to pay extra for it. I was assured they would do the best they could. Well all i have to say is that if this was their best i would hate to see what would happen if they didnt try! This was the the most epic disappointment in a birthday cake ever! The cake was actually showing through in many places on the top and sides. There was so little frosting that when i cut it you couldnt tell where the cake and frosting met, as though the cake was shown some frosting then robbed of its actual presence leaving a sad disappointing stain to barely disguise its blushing nudity. How embarrassing for the poor thing! It also appeared as though there was one huge layer, versus two as no frosting was harmed (or evident) in the separation of them. The best thing about this whole fiasco was that i got a free cake server which no one got to lick the frosting off of because guess what? Yeah, there was none to lick. So what i got for my $23.49 was an epic birthday disappointment cake (which cost as much as a gift!) a plastic server and the opportunity to wait in line to pay for it. All in all i would give less than a star but I did get a plastic cake server out of it which i will use on our next birthday cake purchased elsewhere or better yet made at home. Thanks Publix for the opportunity to disappoint a party filled with our loved ones!

We shop at Publix and only Publix for our groceries. Those people who claim that they cannot afford to shop at Publix have not done their homework. If you follow the weekly ads for sales and especially BOGOs, you cannot beat them for prices. By clipping coupons and stacking store AND manufacturer coupons with their sales, I have cut our grocery bill nearly in half! Lake Gibson Publix is the best, and Bob, the manager with whom we usually deal, is awesome! Two of the cashiers, Sarah and Cassandra, are especially quick, kind, and patient with my usually large stacks of coupons, but all of the cashiers and baggers are just great! The store is ALWAYS clean and tidy, and everyone goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

This has been the worst publix I have came to! The cashiers have attitudes. The manager there which his name is Greg is unprofessional instead of explaining things the right why he calls through the phone to tell customer service not to run our transaction because your company puts a mani fracture coupon in your purple ad & tells us we can use two coupons. Im not happy with this location what so ever this is the second time I had bad experience and no manager does anything to solve this.

Shopping at Publix is always a pleasure all the employees are always smiling happy and willing to help. The store is laid out in a very convenient fashion everything is easy to find checkout is a breeze and parking is no problem and the checkout girl or guy is always willing to help you out with your bags if needed thank you Publix we love you

It wasnt too bad but it took 10 minutes to get 2 items from the hot case in the deli. They had 4 people making sandwiches and 5 people slicing meats but nobody for the hot case. Finally one of the guys making sandwiches was able to break away and help me and the lady ahead of me. Never had this kind of experience there before

From a manager emptying his wine cart to accomodate a little crying boy who wants to be in a cart, to the Apron Chef cooking up and handing out tasty California seafood bowls...

Horrible, Suzie in the bakery gave us an attitude because they didnt make our cake correctly for my daughters birthday. In the process of redoing it, she gave a lot of attitude and was very unprofessional. Between this experience, and the time before with Robert Payne, I will never shop there again.

Probably one of the worst Publix stores in the area. Its not bad, but Ive had a few bad experiences in regards to customer service. Most recently, the cake for my daughters 5th birthday was not done on time, and the bakery workers were arguing with each other right in front of us.

The people are always friendly. courteous and polite. The wait at 12:30 was more like 30 minutes. It was very busy and only 2 to wait on all the customers. The removal of the numbers is not a good idea with so many aggressive people who will shove ahead of others.

This is my favorite Publix. Clean Friendly and helpful, even the parking lot is clean and organized. The customers are aware of keeping it that way by keeping the carts where they belong and no trash on the ground. A pleasure to shop there.

Tried to order a birthday cake and I got an attitude from them because I wanted one color on the top border and another on the bottom border. Winn dixie said it wasnt an issue. Guess I will be going to them from now on.

Why do you make me stand in line while you fill phone orders? Three times I waited while three subs were made. I complained to the manager, but it still goes on!!! How many times would you put-up with this?
