I ordered a whole big for a special event. I was charged to different prices. I paid it thinking I would be able to come back after my event and clear things up. It did not happen. They are crooks!!! They over charged me about 75.00 dollars. I see all the excellent and very good reviews but they are from the general public. I have experience in the meat market business. I family has 6 meet markets in the early 80s. The food products are good but when meat markets prepare food in advance it to hide the fact the meat was going bad. They make it look good but that is how meat markets extend the life of meat by seasoning it. Supermarkets do exactly the same. Never buy meat that it is prepared in advance. The meat market industry is generally dishonest. Paisanos Meat Markets showed me they are no different. They are crooks!!! Also keep in mind, there are reasons why you cannot see over the counter. It is designed that way. Google how a meat markets cheats its customer. You will see and learn how to protect yourself from Paisanos Meat Market. They are not your friends. They are undercover crooks with smiles. Learn (go on to Google and do your research) how to protect yourself from Paisanos Meat Market!!

This is the best butcher Ive ever been to. The staff is very friendly and they started recognizing me after only a few visits. They have great prices for their meat and everything that I have had from them has been delicious. Once you start shopping here, youll never be able to get meat from a grocery store again. Tip: The prosciutto pepper shooters are fantastic and they are the only place in Brooklyn that carries Alta Cucina tomatoes (you have to ask for them)

I love this place!!! I hope it stays in business forever. Amazing cheeses, steaks, lamb chops and sausages. They have everything you could possibly want and it is reasonably priced. The butchers are friendly and knowledgeable. I feel like a kid in a toy store when Im in here. They also have a great selection of handmade pastas and local canned pasta sauces. Love! Love! Love these guys!!!

I was really impressed by their selection and I was pleased to see thar unlike many other butchers, they are open on Sundays. They have your basics as well as things like venison and wild boar. They also have fresh pasta in the back. The prices were expectedly slightly higher than youd see at the grocery store, but I found the quality to more than justify any difference - worth it!

My butcher! I live about a 15 minute walk away, but these guys are my go-to butchers. It can get pretty busy, but the counter is always well staffed with knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient guys. They have an INCREDIBLE selection, check the fridges in the back if you dont believe me (hello camel patties!) and the guys say they can get anything....

Well, I went to Paisanos last week and bought San Daniele proscuitto. Either the guys dont know how to store it correctly or they sold me some old hardly edible quality. Of course this is indecent and unacceptable. But moreover it is most unfortunate because this mentality makes people shop in Manhattan and not support local business.

Become a regular and these guys will get you anything that you need. Great house blend burgers, but also think about asking them to run the chili grind through a burger plate. It has short ribs, brisket, and chuck in it. Lots of marinated steaks and cut to order chops. Best butcher and the best guys in the neighborhood.

Every summer I host a pig roast at my house and I get my pig from Los Paisanos. The quality of the meat, the preparation, the cut, and the service is absolutely phenomenal. The selection of exotic meats that they can provide is parallel to none. Los Paisanos is a true Brooklyn gem. I highly recommend them.

Any kind of meat you want is here. I would like if they had a complete meat plan here. I asked one guy and he said they do but the sign is not up with prices. That is not a good sign. If they want to raise the prices they can because there is no clear price anywhere. Besides that I like this place.

Paisanos is the reason I cant move out of Brooklyn. Ive been trying for 10 years but I cant leave. From antipasto to pasta, to prosciutto to offal and weird meats - this is a one stop shop for me. And the guys are super nice and helpful.
