For the longest time I craved a good hamburger. A GOOD one! The kind I remember eating as a kid, beefy deliciousness, crisp exterior, moist perfect interior. I thought no one knew how to cook them anymore. Turns our it wasnt the cook, it was the beef. I know because I bought the ground beef here, took it home and grilled it and immediately felt that I was in a sacred place. Then we tried the bacon. I almost cried, well not really, but really. I can no say enough about this place. The service is fantastic, they have a great selection and the meat (beef, chicken and pork...havent tried the seafood yet) is worth every dime and more. I am not longer satisfied by the castings of what they label as meat in the big box stores. It doesnt just pale in comparison, its in a whole other category. This is real food. I am spoiled forever, and I am ok with that... and so is the hubs, the true beef connoisseur. And if your lucky enough to be in the shop when they have the bacon cheeseburgers (YES they grind the bacon into the hamburger) then you are in for a life changing experience.

Great meat, always fresh! They offer a variety of local free range grass fed beef and pork at different times during the week. Super friendly and helpful staff. They know what theyre talking about! They also sell chicken, eggs, milk, and ice cream. The milk comes from Trickling Springs Farm and their chocolate milk is the best Ive ever had. Plus its organic and comes from happy grass fed cows.

The interior is a bit small but given that its in downtown thats not unusual. The meat selection is good and they also have a great selection of fresh pasta and farm-fresh local regular and chocolate milk. If you bring back the bottle for milk, you get a discount as they do not charge you for a new bottle.

WTF - half of the stores function (deli, side meat case and the ability to slice anything) closes TWO hours earlier than rest of store (does it really take that long to clean the slicer?). Just close at 7pm and save your customers the aggravation.

Great place with a large selection of dairy, meats, beer, and breads all at reasonable prices. The service is always great with very friendly staff. The location is a little small and can get a little cramped during busy times.

Walked in no customers 3 staff... not one asked I needed help. After a few minutes I approached someone, no bones in stock for broth so she she went back to find out when they would be.... After waiting 5 min I left.

I always come for the milk and eggs. Great price for a fairly local and delicious dairy. The prices are fair for the product, meat counter is helpful and the staff friendly. Must try!

Best place around. The quality of the product is on par with the service they provide. If you buy local or eat fresh then this is the place to shop.

On par in price with Wegmans or other high end grocery stores but more expensive that the other butcher I use. Very high quality meat though!
