I had a great beginning and a terrible ending. Right when we walked in, the sales person came to us and greeted us. Very nice and very helpful. His name was Tony M. He followed us around ensuring we were taken care of. He helped show us features of each piece we liked. He even informed us that since we were using our Rooms to Go Credit Card, it would only be no interest for 30 days in the outlet. All that was fine by me. No problems Then came time for checkout. I decided on 4 items. A table, sectional, coffee table, and recliner, on and a nice piece of art work. Tony handed me off the grouchy Grinch. I don’t even remember her name. She was dull and unwelcoming. Her attitude screamed "I don’t care about you or what you are doing". She again informed me about the interest for the Rooms to go CC, i told her that was ok. Then out of nowhere, she says "Finance companies NEVER cover tax or shipping". Excuse me! You mean YOUR finance company doesn’t cover that. You know why, because i used my CREDIT CARD, which is a finance company, to pay for said shipping and tax. This upset me because I would have rather heard about that the moment I walked in then the 30 day interest crap. Now I had to use two credit cards to purchase from this place. I wouldn’t have been so upset if she didn’t look at me with a blank stare, almost saying "ya I don’t care". By this point I am wanting to leave. Her whole domineer made me want to take my business elsewhere. We finished up and left. After I left, I get a call from the Grinch asking me to come back. Then when I do come back, they tell me they needed my wife in there to sign for the furniture and not me (because it was in her name). So then why didn’t you ask for MY WIFE to come in? I sign for her, she signs for me, I have never gotten a call from my CC companies. But that is not up to the Grinch, so I didn’t hold that against her. Though she certainly didn’t make it easier for me to understand it. She just stood there shaking her head no like I was a child. All the while, the manager is just standing behind her, not saying a word to try and remedy the situation. He is a joke and she is a dull spirit. This will be a corp complaint too.
SKETCHY PAYMENT PLAN!! I went in on 10/15/15 for a bed, the gentleman who helped me look for the bed was very helpful. I did not have enough to pay for the bed at the moment so I signed up for a payment plan. There was someone else who was very helpful who signed me up. I was scheduled 3 payments of $151 after my down payment, the last payment being due on 1/13/16, or else I would have to pay off the full price of the bed, plus interest, which I was told would be over $2000. I made my last scheduled payment online today, however, the website said I had another payment due. I called this morning to ask about the payment and they said I have another $246 due by the 13th!! No one in the store informed me that there would be remaining balance due when purchasing the bed. Why on Earth would I have a set amount scheduled payments if they dont add up the total amount due, is it just a way to screw people over? What a joke

Found some nice furniture with the help of a very friendly salesmen Mr. Cowen. Came back two days later to purchase and unfortunately he was not there. I had another guy who was very friendly. I was ready to purchase two end tables, a dresser, mirror, and media center which were all individually priced. The manager then took the tags off each and said they cant sell it unless I bought a heavily damaged bed as well. Though I watched him remove the tags, he lied and said they were never individually priced, and would not sell any if he couldnt sell it all. His tone was incredibly rude and clearly did not care. He lost himself an easy $1500 sale. This manager is a complete jerk with no understanding of customer service.
I dealt with a wonderful Sales Associate named John. He was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a twin bed, mattress, & a nightstand on Friday and it was delivered on Monday. Another Sales Associate named Joe called me on Sunday and reminded me that I had a delivery coming on Monday. He also told me that the delivery guys were going to call and give me a 4 hour time period for when they would deliver the furniture. The delivery guys actually did call me and gave me a time frame of delivery between 1pm to 5pm. They arrived promptly at 1pm and installed everything in about 15 minutes. The only thing I didnt like was the $100 delivery fee but overall I had a great experience with Rooms to Go.
I had a pending delivery which I told my salesman, they ended up changing my total profile, and messed up my deliveries. I paid for item from the main store in FEB still dont have them, and when I asked for a manager, I was told the store didnt have a manager on 5-3-2017, after being persistent, they put KYLE on the phone he said he wasn’t the manager, after asking over and over again for a manager Kyle finally said he was the acting manager but not the STORE MANAGER are you kidding me I’m not here to play word games. He was no help blamed me for the order getting messed up, and told me to go buy mattresses somewhere else. So I did and IM GETTING MY MONEY BACK TODAY!!!!!
Terrible customer service. I bought a mattress which had a 10 year warranty from this store. Less than 3 years later the mattress was shot and the sides were blown out. The store did not honor the warranty. Guess why? A sweat stain! Apparently using the mattress without a mattress cover will void the warranty. Terrible way to treat customers. Ill never buy from Rooms to Go again, and if you are reading this then I strongly suggest you dont either. Update...I see the store owner said they saw my other post and have responded...but I never heard anything from the store or the corporate email address. Its been a couple months now.
It was the worst experience. The person who apparently spoke Spanish was so rude. Never greeted and never spoke in Spanish, he was despot. We needed some explanation about our credit, and I know we are in America and believe me, we are trying to speak better English everyday, but is sad that our own people be unconscious of our efforts, our difficulties like inmigrants... other customers said us that he has bad mood, he is a little grumpy.... What?? My surprise was enormous!! I dont know how this kind of person works attending customers....I cant believe it!!
