This petsmart is one of the worst. Professionally, most of their advice on the different animals was false. I am an animal expert, and have years of experience with a variety of pets. When purchasing food for my animals, the staff inquired on what type of reptile I had, without me asking for their advice they continued to tell me facts about my pet I for a fact know are false. I have done plenty of research on each of my animals and was outraged by their ignorance. They feed their pets inappropriately ( by meaning the wrong amount and the wrong frequency) My advice would be to try more specialized pet store, and definitely talk to an EXPERT on your animal/pet of choice before listening to their input. Always read about your pet, dont base your decisions on any of their input. They were incorrect on many occasions about the growth rate, and size estimate on their reptiles. Also, birds that were purchased there were unhealthy/underweight. luckily adoption agencies control the health of the cats and dogs. The staff is uneducated and inexperienced. Dont take their advice seriously.

I made a huge mistake. I thought upgrading from the basic litter Genie to the plus was actually an upgrade. Instead, I purchase 6 Litter Genie Plus at PetSmart. I am told they dont have the Plus refills but they will be getting them in in less than a week. I called 7 days later to find out PetSmart lied. I checked at most of my local stores and internet to find that there are not any Plus Refills anywhere. So I emailed Litter Genie. They reply to the email but they say I must call and explain the problem again. I go through all of this to be told that Litter Genie is the one that lies. After you use the refills bought with the unit, the only choice you have is to by the Standard refills. They wont fix this without me going through all the trouble of shipping units to them. I will never purchase or support this company again because of their faulty advertisements which they blamed on the store. I pointed out every store online sells them the same way without explaining that the 2 Plus refills will be the only ones you will ever be able to buy.

Do NOT buy a reptile from this place. From personal experience they do not know what they are talking about. Do your OWN research please! I purchased a leopard gecko and they sold me a kit that had just about everything wrong for a gecko. The staff acts like they know each and every species. They do not. Also the care information that goes with the purchase is incorrect. I will never buy a reptile from a chain store ever again! Breeders are the only way to go. They truly care for their animals/reptiles. My leopard gecko was sick when purchased. He looked healthy at the time. Ive done extensive research on how precise their environment must be to maintain health. These beautiful reptiles can live over 20 years. Im tired of seeing so many suffer because of poor nutrition, calcium, respitory infections and the biggest MBD Metobolic Bone Disease.

Been coming here for many years. Very bad experience today and wont be coming back. Was running behind due to work issues so I called to see if was ok that I deliver my dog later than the 12:30 scheduled time. Was politely told "no problem". Based on that I took the time to leave work, retrieve my dog from home and deliver her at 1:30. Was told that Id have to reschedule because they "didnt know Id be an hour late". This was said by the manager in a very rude way and with no eye contact. Very unprofessional and dismissive. I would have accepted the news better if it were delivered with any degree of empathy or courteousity. Would also have saved me an hour and a half to have been told that over the phone. Stay away!!!

My dog had to get a summer cut. Hours later, I receive a call about how shy and hesitant he was .. fine. Hours later he was picked up and his demeanor was nervous and jittery. On his body was random redness and nicks, especially a nasty raw patch along his neck where his collar would lay. It took him days to calm down, traumatized as he was. They also had the nerve to send some paperwork home suggesting we needed to take him to our vet to get a pill! I usually go to Bridford Parkways PetsMart. My mistake. The lesson learned is not everyone can handle your pet as you would. I personally will never subject my pet to this grooming salon again.

These people are stuck up and I despise the way they do business. I guess that since youre in a ritzy area that they treat middle class citizens like thiefs. You walk in the store to return greenies with a valid receipt and everyone starts staring at you like your trouble. I threw over $60 of greenies away because they have grain in them and my dog has skin issues, so Im only trying to get my money back. Apparently thats a crime by itself.

Hours for grooming are posted online and in the store. Went in tonight shortly after 7pm, 2 hours before "closing", to have my dogs nails trimmed and filed. Grooming was already closed down because they decided to leave. If your hours are posted in multiple spots saying you are open, you should remain open, or else, as happened tonight, you will lose business, and not only for that one visit, but many more in the future.

Manager Ana was very unapologetic, I ordered a litter box online and went to the store, she got it for me but when I got home I realized it wasnt the same one I had ordered. I tried to explain this and she acted like I was confused, but even looking at my order email the litter box looks completely different than the one she gave me. It was a hassle and she didnt seem to understand or care.

Ive been taking my husky here to get her nails grinded and theyre usually very sweet with her. I wish they would get them a little shorter buy no big deal. I recently took my very anxious Doberman and they were equally sweet and patient with him. The poor groomer got bathed in drool and just rolled with it and kept trying to soothe my dog. I was very appreciative of her demeanor.

Petsmart is the place to go of you love your baby(ies) and have the money to spend on them. Banfield is the main reason I go here. My dogs are on a plan that I pay for monthly, but it includes an annual physical, all their vaccines, dental cleaning every 6 months and several emergency visits throughout the year. The plan is perfect and the service is excellent!!

Not a good visit today. My dog was not done thevwsy she has been done in the past. I had to bring her back in to have her shaved again after already waiting 3.5 hours. I asked for a free grooming the next time and they would only do a per cent off the the next time. Also waited in line to pay. Only one cashier on duty. Long wait.

Called and ask about a specific item, talked to two people. They stated they had the item. I looked all over for the item, could not find it. Spoke to a store employee. Employe stated the do not carry the item. I am 73 yrs of age, I am on fixed income. Unnecessary travel is not something I can afford.
